Joining The STC
The Stormtrooper Corps is a strong, brutal, and terrifying Theatre of Warfare designed to simultaneously quell dissidents, annihilate enemies, and utterly demoralize all who would seek to rebel against the Empire. Since their founding, everywhere a Stormtrooper walks, fear and death follow. Yet, even with this, Stormtroopers lead a glorious life compared to their General Military comrades. While treatment during deployment is often harder on a Stormtrooper, upon returning home he or she is hailed as a hero, no matter the rank of the soldier. Stormtroopers are the protectors of the Imperium, making sure dissidents and rebels do not destroy the fragile peace of the galaxy under the Imperium's rule.
Joining the Stormtrooper Corps of the New Sith Imperium is difficult, but it is not the method of joining that turns many away from the glorious life of a Stormtrooper. Rather, it is the training. Extremely harsh, the training of Stormtroopers is only rivaled by the awe-inspiring Mandalorians, whom their training is modeled after. To join the the Stormtrooper Corps, a soldier must either reach the rank of a Commissioned Officer, or be noticed by a superior within the Stormtroopers as a prodigy. Regardless of the method, once they have been accepted, both commissioned officers and prodigies are put in an intensive training course lasting anywhere from one to four years, depending on how quickly the soldier learns concepts. Within those times, the Stormtrooper must assume the rank of Recruit and undergo retraining in his specialization along with retraining in all military concepts, which includes the training to an adept level of either the Noghri martial Stava or the Echani Martial Art.
Once they have shown themselves to be worthy of the Stormtrooper Corps by completing the training and passing their first full, difficult mission involving the hunting down of dissidents or the quelling of an uprising, Recruits are promoted to the rank of Private and are finally truly classified and worthy of the title, Stormtrooper.
