I don't mind bowing out for this one to keep things moving at a pace. My character was smacked around pretty hard, she'd take a good while to recover.
Don't worry, we can all be involved. It's just a matter of keeping things organized.

I agree with Topher. Since the Jedi and Sith are going to be separated within the temple we could use this thread to see how well we're able to manage a large group, and if it becomes a problem we can split up into smaller groups in separate threads as the story progresses.

Personally, I'm fine either way. But here's what we should do, regardless of the path we take:

- For now, let's start with adding location/approximate time at the beginning of each post.

- To keep the story readable, it's best for the Jedi to finish introductions first, then let the Sith take their turn. @Thluna, @Lavi, @Charndley, @Reyn, is 48 hours from now an ample window for all the Jedi to reply?

- In the meantime, @The Captain could probably write an introduction post for the Sith and make it available somewhere, so that the Sith could see it and prepare their replies. That way, once the Jedi are finished posting, all it would take the Sith is to drop their prepared posts. That way we'll keep up the pace, and breaks won't ruin people's investment in the story.

The alternative is to have "Unfortunate Duty" become Jedi planning/splitting-up thread. The Sith would get their own similar thread. Then, once the groups are established, we make 2 separate "Jedi vs Sith" threads. To reflect that it's happening in the same place, a character from one thread might be able to make a cameo in the other (separated via a chasm, a grate, etc.) Perhaps switching threads would be possible as well, if circumstances warrant it.

P.S. It looks like people are going for "a single thread" for now, so let's see how it works. If it doesn't work, we'll figure out how to solve the problem.

So we have 48 hours to reply? Pretty sure that’s the case but I’m just asking to make sure.

Yeah, each team has that 48 hr window to get their collective posts in, before it swaps over to the sithies

Helps keep it relatively structured, a free for all can be a bit of a headache lol

@Topher @Catbert Dont remove anybody. Just sign Gale on to the Sith side :) as long as it’s not a faction mission, he can participate

It looks like @Charndley has been delayed. I don't know the reason, but my default assumption in such case would be "RL circumstances". As discussed on Discord previously:
[The 48-hour window] is mostly to keep the pace, not a super-rigid rule.

If someone were to go behind schedule, we'd probably just extend the wait to a reasonable period of time. Or let the person skip the turn and figure out how to continue appropriately, without harming any characters.

Until we know for certain, I suggest the following course of action, just to keep the story going:

0. Wait a little longer (I suppose we've done that).

1. Swap the posting order + skip a turn: Korsak, then the Sith reacting to Izel and Kegari (we can assume that Nara was in the distance and would approach a little later), then Korsak, Kori, and BD.

2. If there's no news after that, commotion could start in the temple (the guardian from @Lavi's post waking up). It could cause the remaining active characters to regroup somewhere.

I don't really know how things are usually done here, but since it's the Jedi side that's lagging behind, it's as good time as any to bring it up.

P.S. @Aurius, did you mean Unfortunate Duty, or the overarching series of threads? (assuming anything else is done). I'm asking because the thread is getting quite big, so if we get Gale + another Jedi sign-up to even the odds, we'll probably be better off splitting it into 2 threads.

Think we could elect to skip her for this turn? We're not doing anything pressing in that corner of the temple having both sides just met and can work from the questions fielded by the insect character {forgot name}
