Jedi Order Taskforce Fleet

The New Jedi Order Taskforce Fleet is a small group of ships owned by the New Jedi Order and operated by the Arbran Rangers. The taskforce fleet was created with two intents, equally as important. The first is to act as a quick response fleet should a Jedi base or allied world come under attack, although the fleet would only be called upon for such action in extreme circumstances. The second and primary function of the fleet is to protect the New Jedi Order mobile base, a Jedi training facility.

In the event the fleet is attacked, the mobile base would be the first to flee while the other ships work to cover it's exit. Once the mobile base has safely made a jump to hyperspace the rest of the fleet would either retreat or finish the fight. The mobile base will be the home for several thousand Jedi, while the other ships would not have any Jedi other than those wishing to be a part of the crew, making the mobile base's protection crucial.

The fleet remains constantly on the move and to different locations to decrease the likelihood of a trap or ambush. It does, however, frequent several allied worlds including Indupar, Rodia, Kothlis, Naboo, and the Kira II system. Ships belonging to the fleet operate under the classification Jedi Order Vessel or JOV so as to distinguish between ships operating under the Jedi's direction and ships operating under their allies' direction.
