Jedi Order: Idiots or Dangerous?
Hello, darlings! I'm back with the best news of the Galaxy! We are once again going to talk about the recent events regarding the Jedi Order. After their actions during the Sith attack on Kashyyyk, the public opinion regarding them fell to levels that were only seen during the time that Palpatine ruled the Galaxy!
We all know that the Jedi are prone to scandals. From their actions when Denon fell to the Sith to the psychic affair of their Grandmaster with the deceased Chancellor Ro during a Senate session, they caused more problems than good. It was no surprise that some planets became fed up with their incompetence. Coruscant and Brentaal declared that their presence in their territory is illegal and Senator Alexander Xerxes declared that if he was elected, he would banish all the Jedi from Republic territory.
His announcement was praised by the members of the Anti-Jedi Association. This inspired them to make a petition to Prime Minister Korre Belasi to do something similar in the Free Worlds Alliance. They believe that the Jedi should be removed and planets affiliated with them, such as Yavin IV, should be given to the Wookiees that survived the tragedy on Kashyyyk.
While the hate against them seems to be growing across the Galaxy, Grandmaster Alexandria Voran finally came to public to announce that the Jedi responsible for the events on Kashyyyk were arrested and will be submitted to the justice of the Free Worlds Alliance. However, many remain skeptical if she was really going to do it.
Others believe that it isn’t enough, a group formed by relatives of the Wookiees that perished due to the Jedi is planning to travel to Yavin IV to protest against their actions and to seek an end to the Order meddling in the life of the citizens of the Galaxy. Members of the Anti-Jedi Association are also going with them. Since the planet is the headquarters of the Order, many of those that we interviewed in Coruscant believe that they will be welcomed by the blades of the Jedi.
