Jedi Creation Question

Hey all! I have an open third character slot, and I figured I wanted to taste all of the ice cream flavors by making a Jedi to compliment my Sith and Mando. Unfortunately, I am having trouble sticking with a character idea, and was wondering if there are any niches that need filled in the faction? Some structure would probably do my creative process good, so I am open to almost anything. If not, I can probably bang something out, but it may not be pretty.

Well I haven been here long but as far as I can see, there are a lot of Jedi Knights(me included) but I have yet to see any Jedi Healer besides our great Grand Master @Valen Pelora. Maybe this might help stir your creative juices. Just a thought.

Actually, both @Kaane and I have our own Jedi healers as well! The more the merrier though, and if we get enough interested in healing perhaps we could even form our own healers circle inside the order!

Also there's the possibility of being a Jedi scientist of some kind, researching Midi-chlorians or something. Do that whole reconciling faith with technology angle.

I'll turn my indie, Ocean, into a Jedi just to get a chance at seeing the Circle of Healers happen. Onto the actual question itself:

You could always make an archeologist or artisan, or even a Jedi historian. A Jedi can really have any personal pastimes and interests they want, so if you really wanted you could create a Jedi illusionist that runs a dubstep nightclub and DJ's in his free time.​

No need to apologize man, you don't have anything to even apologize for! I just thought I'd chime in about my healer, and besides, Kaane and ours didn't even exist ten days ago! As far as I am aware.

Adan also happens to be a Jedi Historian, as well as a healer! They could go on expeditions together

With the destruction of Tython I'd only assume much history and lore would have been lost. You could really build a historian type character from that. Did they manage to save anything? Why were they not on Tython? How are they going to rebuild the ancient knowledges of the old archives? So on and so forth. There's a lot of potential there, to say nothing of the rest of what a historian could do for the Order.

EDIT: You could even become the driving force behind making the new Jedi Archives into the largest repository of knowledge in the galaxy, as mentioned in the prequels.
