Modularity: Low. The rarity of both cortosis and phirk makes it quite expensive and difficult to make, and equally difficult to modify. Especially without weighing it down and sacrificing mobility.

Description: Following the battle of Empress Teta, where traditionally robed Jedi had faced off against heavily armoured Sith, one Guhoo Armstrong, Jedi Knight, had a revelation. Why should the Jedi risk death and injury when it could be avoided, by trading in one's traditional robes for something far more practical for battle, when indeed the Sith had clearly learned the same lesson? As such, he requisitioned Kiro Haas, a fellow Jedi, and quite mechanically inclined, to create his new set of armour. One that would stand up to the lightsabers of the Sith. But thanks to the qualities of phirk and cortosis, it's also rather resistant to blaster fire, and thanks to the hard plates, it's also somewhat effective against kinetic energy. It provides low to no resistance from explosive, concussion, or sonic damage, however.
