JAXON CLANE'S ARMOR "JUSTICAR CUIRASS"

This is the personal armor of late Sector Ranger Jaxon Clane. Having left the cushion of the Core Worlds, he would take a heavier armor to help with the local crime elements of worlds in the Outer Rim. Where many were just content, staunching the flow in the Core Worlds, this heavy armor allowed him to trade dealers for suppliers and make some real changes. It is a costly piece of armor having been made with the intent to survive prolonged engagements and heavy enemy weaponry.

LEGALITY

Though this would likely get stopped on a core world, it isn't outright illegal. It would also be sure to draw the attention of criminals in the Outer Rim.

This is Jaxon Clanes personal armor, now used by Dusty Desperado.

RESTRICTIONS​

Being used by Dusty, this would removed the same way he got it, off of a cold dead corpse.

Type and Coverage

Type: Medium/Heavy Armor

Coverage: (Coverage for Medium is 4-5, Heavy is 6-7)

• Head: Fully enclosed Duraplast helm with duraplast gorget.
• Torso: Fully enclosed duraplast cuirass
• Back: fully enclosed duraplast cuirass
• Upper Arms: fully enclosed duraplast pauldrons, and upper arm plates.
• Lower Arms: fully enclosed duraplast bracers and gloves and other plates.
• Upper Legs: fully enclosed duraplast thigh plating
• Lower Legs: fully enclosed duraplast knee guards, shin plating and boots.

Functions​

Function 1: Voice Scrambler (Jaxon Clane's Voice)

• • For the unusually paranoid, this helmet function can scramble a person's voice to unintelligible garbage, while allowing commlink conversations to continue as normal. Alternatively, it can be used to "digitize" a voice into a deep bass tone.

Function 2: Survival HUD

• • Reads atmosphere composition and detects toxins.

Function 3: Jump Boots

• • This rare and expensive technology is able to propel a person up to 10 meters beyond what a normal person would normally be able to jump, especially when armored. It is not capable of sustained flight, and requires a brief engine cool-down before it can be used again (1 post cool-down).

Function 4: Wrist Rocket

• • Wrist rockets have a flight range of 100 meters and have a blast radius of 3 meters. They are single-shot devices and require manual reloading after use. They are effective against lightly armored vehicles, moving parts such as gears or hydraulics, and infantry, and do equivalent damage to a frag grenade. The must be manually fired by button or trigger.

Function 5: Repulsor

• • Originally designed to counter combat with force sensitives, this tool is able to project a strong repulsor field replicating a Force push. It projects up 10 meters and its limited power cell only allows for 3 uses before it needed changing. The repulsor has significant recoil and the wielder must carefully brace themselves before use- both to ensure accuracy and to prevent the user from being knocked over themselves or having their arm torn from its socket.
