Delilah Kovac

Excerpt · History · Personality · Threads

Lieutenant Delilah Kovac was a pilot in the Republic Navy. She was the daughter of the retired Admiral Kovac who served for many years before her and added pressure to her career.

_

History
The Kovac family migrated to the Republic a few generations before Delilah was born. They had often enlisted in the Republic military in one form or another as they had little else to fall to with their move away from Iridonia. By the time Del was born, they had found their foothold and were no long struggling to adapt to their new settings. Delilah's father was an Admiral in the Republic Navy and her mother stayed near home to be a teacher. Del and her siblings grew up in an upper-middle class household with little want for anything.

Delilah, or Del as most called her, followed the military track with her education to eventually end up as a Lieutenant in the Republic Military. When the Grand Army was re-created by the Senate, she left her home on Chandrila to help the ranks of soldiers and pilots in the coming war. By then her father had retired, but his name still put pressure on the young Kovac to make an impression.

Personality

Delilah feels a lot of pressure to be the best. Her father was very successful and it makes her feel that if she fails to outdo him, he will be disappointed. She is a bit of a tomboy as people might call her. Del has always enjoyed sport, outdoors, and danger a lot more than many of her female peers. The young Kovac girl hates being told she cannot do something or that someone is better than her at something she does. While she is willing to put herself in harm's way to help a friend or serve her cause, she is hesitant if the risk is too high. Her life is valuable to her and she would be hard pressed to give it up unless she truly loved the person she was dying for.

Tak Solari

Excerpt · History · Personality · Threads

Mercenary Tak Solari was a mostly unaffiliated soldier who fled the growing sphere of Sith Space to make his own way before being drafted. He is quick to draw a blaster and slow to make loyal.

_

History

Tak grew up in a religiously zealous family on a world where faith was extremely important. His mother had been a priestess at the local high temple while his father served as a protector of the temple. It was not exactly a path Tak wanted to follow for himself. While he did trust in the fates like his parents, he did not want to spend his time in a temple. He felt the fates were pulling him away from Mirial ever since he was young. His parents of course did not approve of this and said they would consult the fates on finding his true purpose. This never changed for the young boy even when he was approaching manhood.

As an adult, Tak decided to take what little wealth he had and begin a journey away from Mirial. His parents pleaded with him to stay and help defend the temple like his father. Sith were spreading in the rim and Mirial had to be a target soon. They wanted to protect themselves from the darkness and fight back. Tak did not want to die in a losing battle and this was the last push he needed to finally take his leave. He tried not to look back as he headed off into a life of galactic mercenary work.

The first year or two went well. Leather armor and cheap blasters became high quality armor and weapons. Public transportation gave way for a nice shuttle and a speeder bike. Life was looking good for Tak who had made a few credits, but he wanted to do more. More lucrative and more dangerous jobs were taken. Tak began making connections with all sorts of people in hopes of advancing himself even further. He avoided officially working for anyone to keep himself mobile and unaffiliated when he could. Not even the Hutt Cartel could pull him in as a full member. For the first few years, Tak was freelance.

Personality

Spiritual enlightenment and following the cosmic force's fate for you are typical Mirialan desires. Tak does believe there is a force guiding his fate, but does not seek to manipulate it or seek some sort of enlightenment. There is a little bit of skepticism in him in regards to the fates, but it does not pop up often. Viewing the Jedi and Sith with their powers sealed his belief if there was any doubt in the force itself.

Tak does not follow much of a moral code. While his parents would want much better from him, he really just wants what is best for himself. That means credits, switching sides, doing dark deeds, and doing whatever someone pays him to do. There may be some hesitation to slaughter a bunch of children for example, but he'd do it if the pay was adequate. That said, Tak does not really hold grudges. If he was paid to fight someone but the next day they met at a bar, there'd be no hard feelings about shots exchanged as long as the job was over.

Darth Saarai

Excerpt · History · Personality · Threads

Sith Lord Darth Saarai is a member of the Sith Empire's council. She once was known as Nayeli Aeron before casting aside her past life to become the Darth of Truth.

_

History

In most cultures, the taking of an infant is considered a high crime. A moral line most do not cross. Shili was no different. Yet, somehow, Nayela was given to the Jedi to be trained while she was still learning to talk. Her childhood knew nothing of joy, freedom, or anything normal. She was reared to become a Knight and that was what she eventually became, but not in the way the Jedi hoped. Training was harsh and unfair to her, she lacked the desires she wanted from life, and felt the messages being preached to her were not being practiced in the galaxy. This internal strife led to outburst after outburst until the Togruta girl found herself among the Jedi Exiles.

The first meeting was almost deadly. A young Jedi was a tantalizing target for a hungry Exile, but she got lucky. Instead of blood lust, she met understanding. The Jedi were wrong and the exiles were doing what must be done. They were making the hard decisions and using power to get it done. Such power went to waste in the hands of Jedi who preached peace, but waged a halfhearted war. At least that's how she saw it. The appeal of the Exiles drew her in and so began the corruption of Nayeli. Her brilliant blue blade in time was modified to reflect a purple color. A mixture of the classic red exile blade and the blue Jedi guardian blades. Inquisitors took an interest in her ability to mix in with Jedi, and her life changed forever. Nayeli became a Jedi Exile and took up arms against the Order she used to serve, unsure if she could follow through.

Years of service to the Exiles positioned her on the front lines of the Battle for Korriban. The young Togruta made a name for herself in the fight and in other missions for the Exiles, making her one of the first to be named a Sith Master when the Exiles became the Sith Empire. Past doubts of her ability to move beyond her Jedi past mostly faded away as she helped slaughter Jedi on Ossus before being called to the rank of Sith Master. Her work with the Black Hand as an Assassin, not widely known to most, helped solidify her path. Nayeli was only getting started.

As the Sith Master expanded her command and powers, she began to be noticed. Lords of the Sith called upon her for mission after mission. Nayeli began to be followed by a tinge of notoriety as she continued to be successful. The Togruta woman even made an appearance among the Black Hand of the Sith operating under The Eternal himself. Nayeli did not take long before tutoring under the Dark Lord of the Sith, Darth Kravos, brought her to new heights. Eventually she cast aside her old Jedi name and identity to become Darth Saarai. The name meaning Lord of Truth. Alongside her came the rise of the Regiment of Truth, commanded by the Sith Lord herself. They were an extension of their master and became synonymous with Darth Saarai. Her position on the council was taken with blood, and few came to challenge her because of it.

Personality

The past:
Innocent young girl is who she used to be. It's inside of her, but those days are history. The Jedi taught her of peace and being guardians of the galaxy. She found nothing but war, pain, and death. The padawan experience twisted and broke the innocent girl into something different. This darker being isn't the embodiment of evil by any means, but she has broken free of the Jedi propaganda to a more neutral point of view. In her eyes, the exiles are the answer to what the Jedi should do to secure the galaxy, but are too afraid to do. Her path among the exiles has turned her more dark with each passing day, but inside one can still find a sweet girl looking to make the galaxy a better place. Conflict exists deep within her between the light and the dark, but she does not acknowledge it. She chose the darkness and allows it to propel her to her goals. The innocent girl inside trusts others, desires companionship, and aims to avoid the death of innocents. This does not often contrast with her exile path, but when it does there is no bigger struggle for Nayeli.

Nayeli had conquered most of her demons from her days as a Jedi by the time she became a Sith Master. She was much more willing to kill, even in cold blood, but she still felt for them deep down. The belief that her actions on the dark side would help shape the Galaxy into a better place still held true. Her idea was that by being powerful and guiding the galaxy, she would get to live a better life and make the Galaxy better for everyone. At times she struggled with the actions of the Sith Empire, but overall she was very dedicated after inking her own body to show her dedication.

The Present:
Years working as a Sith Master helped the Ex-Jedi truly become a new woman. The Jedi deep inside eventually seemed to stop fighting and the darkness took over. Nayeli had died to give way to Darth Saarai. The name meant Lord of Truth in the Sith Tongue, which was true of how she carried herself. The woman once known as Nayeli no longer let anything hold her back. She was not fighting for a better Galaxy anymore, but for a better self. Conquering, enslaving, murdering, and all sorts of sins that may have held back the young Nayeli now became sickeningly pleasurable to her. Most of the same personality hid beneath the mask of the Darth, despite the apparent death of the light within her. Flirty, playful, and snarky were all words those brave enough to gossip about her would say.

Senator of Empress Teta
Serena Valtome

  • Information file for the Junior Senator of Empress Teta, a planet located near Coruscant and Tython.

    • Serena comes from an upper-class family on Empress Teta, a planet known for wealth and luxury. The Valtome family had a mix of backgrounds that all took pride in their roots in the core of the Galaxy where civilization ruled rather than scum lords in the rim. Her father retired as an officer in the Republic Navy and her mother still supervises a family-owned clothing store in a populated shopping district on the planet. The youngest of three, Serena did not find comfort in simply inheriting wealth from the family. Especially considering she was third in line for it. She enlisted into the officer academy on Chandrila for the Republic Diplomatic Forces, where she graduated and was given command of a small defense force. A few years of service brought her back home with a wide array of options in front of her. Politics became a thing of interest and she dove into the local scene. In her late 20s, Serena Valtome became an Aide to the Senator of Empress Teta. The young woman watched as the Senator worked to learn all she could before running to replace her old mentor years later. At 32 standard years old, she won the election and began her career as Senator.

    • It is hard not to be arrogant when one comes from a wealthy family on a wealthy planet. Serena is not much of an exception. She looks down on others, especially those who come from the outer rim. There is a stubborn side to her that won't back down without a fight whether it's an argument or a literal physical fight. Serena has a heart for those who are less fortunate, despite the feelings of superiority. She sees the core as the heart of civilization while those who do not benefit from living there need to be saved. Scum and villainy in the rim could be solved with the Core's system of beliefs, as far as she is concerned. While she wants to see civilized culture spread to the Galaxy, she also wants to see benefit for herself. Above all she serves herself and what she wants. Motivation usually comes in the form of luxury and assets. Some might think this means Serena isn't willing to get her hands dirty. While she dislikes literal dirt on her hands, she will fight her own battles and take risks to get big rewards. Miss Valtome is a complicated woman that takes a lot to unravel, but is usually summed up as a kind, classy woman with a stubborn streak.
