Jörmungandr was the second son of Brynhildr Alemanii, Claw of the Alemanii clan. His father was an enemy combatant of his mother. They had spent several nights trapped together after a battle and when it came to being freed, they fought to the death to survive. Unfortunately for his father, his mother was a much better warrior.
From an early age his mother noticed his cunning and manipulative ways. He would often talk other children into doing what he wanted, and was good at shifting blame. She decided to encourage and foster these traits, as she believed they were powerful traits to possess, the fact that it reminded her of his father had nothing to do with it.
Jörmungandr would never admit it, but he always held an envy for his older brother, Vicarr. His larger than life and brash attitude, who always seemed to have things go his way grated against Jörmungandrs own pride. Though he didn't not hate his brother, he certainly caused his brothers life some grief, whether he knew it was Jörmungandr or not. A personal favorite memory, when he found a lovely plant that when ground up and added into someones food, gave them what could only be described as violent diarrhea for a week. That one never failed to give him a smile.
He took his own path as he grew older, focusing on how to make money and sharpening his skills of manipulation and lying. Eventually he began formulating a long term plan on how he could begin accumulating power. Which would eventually lead to his clothing boutique on Coruscant. If there was one thing all powerful people needed, it was for someone to make them look good. A very good way of having powerful people seek him out.
It was a devestating time when his mother passed away. It was one of the few times he and his brother were close without biting words from either person. When it came time to fire on the Senkkja pod, his brother who was to be the next Claw, gave him the order, and Jörmungandr fired. He has seen his brother a few times since the funeral, but has mostly been focused on his business on Coruscant and gaining contacts. Alth

There are many truths in the universe. And one of the biggest truths is that Jörmungandr is a liar. You were more likely to find a Jedi advocating the genocide of wampas than to ever have Jörmungandr always tell you the truth. He always looks out for number one and is willing to do whatever it takes to ensure he comes out on top, even if you didn't realize it.
He has a burning desire for power and influence over others and is willing to shake the hands and stab the backs necessary to get that power. Unlike most Deucalians, he never took to the lessons of loyalty and honor. He feels like they are just things that hold you back from victory. Instead he became fond of the use of poisons and other underhanded methods.
He has Deucalian combat training that was common among the Alemanii clan. Even if he was more focused on money and financial/political power, he was no slouch when it came to combat. This was due to his older brother, Vicarr, always pushing him to be better. His melee weapon of choice was surprisingly the Matukai Whip-Staff. His mother was trained in the art and passed the style onto him.
He is quite skilled in business and fashion, two skills he developed as part of his plan to gain powerful allies that he could manipulate. That aside, he did found creating clothing to be an enjoyable pastime. Another developed skill was starship repair that comes from living your life on ships as the Deucalians do.
