ISC Frontier Armor​

An adaptation of the armour worn by members of the ISC Army, this armour is mostly worn by marines on assignment to frontier worlds. Cutting a striking shadow, the armour provides solid protection also. Coming with a uniform, the armour makes use of traditional rank insignia to differentiate between officers.

Officers on the front lines can often be seen wearing the same armor as the Frontier Marines o keep them protected, with their rank displayed along their upper left bicep armor plate.​

LEGALITY​

Legal to be owned by members of the ISC Military. Ownership of the armor is not technically illegal but wearing it when not serving within the ISC Military is illegal on the grounds of impersonating Military personnel.​

INTENT​

Intent is to give a standardized armor for the troops and officers of the ISC, with some regional flavour, when in active combat, both for NPC and PC flavour and information when referring to tech in the future.​

Type: Medium Armor

Coverage:

• Head: Open Durasteel and Duraplast helmet
• Torso: Heavy blast vest with non-removable Durasteel plate inserts
• Back: Heavy blast vest with non-removable Durasteel plate inserts
• Upper Arms: Durasteel plate

Functions​

Function 1: Scout HUD

• Contains a 4x magnifier and Compass. Comes in the form of belt attach macrobinoculars.
• Force User Compatible?: Yes

Function 2: Filter

• Filters are bulky attachments to a helmet, or function as part of a mask, that filter out environmental contaminants such as smoke or most toxins. They are susceptible to caustic substances and damage. Comes in the form of a belt attachment.
• Force User Compatible?: Yes

Function 3: Environment Suit

• While it is not rated for extended exposure to extreme hazards, this body suit (when combined with an enclosed helmet) can protect the wearers body from the effects of environmental and weaponized toxins and similar hazards for up to 5 posting rounds.

Function 4: Customization Slot

• The ISC Military encourages officers and Specialists to customize their armor to suit environments they will soon be sent to in order to give their troops more flexibility.
