Is The Defense Pact Between Onderon and Hapes a Great Case of Simping?

These two planets recently signed a new defensive pact, ignoring the Free world Alliance. While we don’t judge them, with the Alliance being a pit of incompetency, many individuals are questioning if such pact was really made with the purpose of mutual protection, or if it is anttempt of King Weylin of Onderon to woo Queen Charlotte of the Hapes.
King Weylin succeeded his father after the latter was assassinated during the Sith attack on Onderon. In the same attack, Senator Cassian Graves was also killed, who according to many rumors was the lover of both the deceased King and Princess Reyna. Apparently the Zeltron aimed to both to reach the position of planetary representative.
The deceased King was a good ruler and loved by the Onderonians, even if he had a scandalous love affair. The people expect that his son will maintain his legacy, but this pact with Hapes is proving to cause controversy. The two planets never had anything in common, which makes this agreement a surprise. They expected that it would have been signed with worlds that were close to them.
The most popular explanation for the signing of this pact is that King Weylin is infatuated by Queen Charlotte. Our sources say that he already had feelings for her since he was only a prince, to the point of having a secret shrine in honor to Charlotte in his bedroom!
