Intelligence Gathering plot

  • What is going to happen in your plot? The 4 members of the Brigands still alive will launch an operation against Imperial assets in Saleucami and Russan, to gain intelligence about Imperial shipping movements to relay back to the Alliance Command.
  • What other players will be a part of this? Taz, Swamp Witch, myself and Nommie
  • Where are all the places (if more than one) that your plot will be taking place? Saleucami and Russan
  • Please provide a basic in-character timeline of what you expect to happen.
    1. A pair of Rebels (Swamp Witch and Nommie) will arrive on the planet of Saleucami. They meet a port official when they land, and this is one of the first chances for the Rebels to gain intelligence. Here, they try and bribe the official in an attempt to gain information. This is not vital for the cause and this can fail without issue.(Dice)

    2. The same pair enter a cantina and sniff around for information. They try to purchase information from a bartender, who they think is a little... Flexible. If successful, they are able to learn the whereabouts of an important Imperial military officer. (Dice)

    3. They attack the officer in the cover of night, aiming for the element of surprise. Dice determines the amount of guards he has and whether they are able to take him by surprise or not. They must kill or knock him unconscious, and copy the data he holds. Then, run. (Dice)

    4. Another pair of Rebels (myself and Taz) head to Russan, where they spot an Imperial Sensor station. They recognise it as their objective.

    5. The pair head to the slums on the planet facing towards the station. Here, they speak with the poor and homeless, seeking information about the station and its outer defences. There might also be the opportunity to pay some of them to use as a distraction in the final assault, though this is not required. (Dice)

    6. After talking with the locals, the Rebels realise there is an Imperial warehouse, which could hold the schematics for the station. In an attempt to capture it, the Rebels launch an assault on it. The Rebels must do it without attracting too much attention, so that the station does not get word of potential rebels in the area. (Dice)

    7. The sneak attack on the station is launched. Using the schematics, the pair must fight their way to the command centre, where one of the Rebels try to modify the technology to send back regular reports of the movements of Imperial shipping. Another takes current data. If the Rebels can't modify the tech, this isn't necessary. (Dice)

    8. There is a thread where the Rebels run for their lives from Imperial persuers. They must either kill the Imperial squad sent against them, or reach a speeder to depart to the spaceport.
  • What do you or your character hope to achieve with this plot? What is the "end-game"? To gather intelligence on Imperial shipping for Rebel command to utilise.
  • Do you need any involvement of canon NPCs or faction leaders to be DMed by a staff member? If so, please detail who/what and for what purpose. No

I'm just going to say that I can already see this does not follow the espionage rules regarding Open/PvP threads. Please review the espionage rules before submitting plots. All the threads in this plot need to be Open/PvP.

Also, you're going to have to be much more specific about what information you're wanting to acquire. "Shipping information" is not a concrete enough goal.

Ah yes, Minuteman hasn’t allowed for this plot to go ahead, so I guess I’m withdrawing the submission
