Mae was the first to arrive. She had arrived early, with @Jackson L. Samuel. They quickly set up the recruiting booth at the career fair in the large city. This had become a semi-annual event of some fame in the near parts of the galaxy and securing a place amongst the venders and employee seekers was not easy.

They quickly put up the boot with the ORI logo across the top. Ye, everything was made to be as legit as possible. Anyone who would even look up ORI or Mr. Samuels information in local databanks would find nothing but good and honest work from the man and his company.

They set up additional chairs as they should be accompanied by a few others of their representation.

Sam strolled through the crowds, he was quite a bit late, having supposed to have arrived early to help the Pyke Queen @Mae Tecono set up a booth to attract potential teachers for the academy she'd been putting together. Either way, Sam lulled along with a fat cigar in his mouth, his heavy armour clinking every few steps he took.

Finally he spotted it, he hadn't actually committed to memory where their booth was supposed to be, nor did he feel like checking his smart pad to check, he had simply walked around until he saw the ORI logo, and the somewhat slave somewhat not a slave she kept around to make the whole set up look more legit, it was already working though as he watched the man shake more than half a dozen hands while still walking up to them.

Jack.. Same said curtly before turning his attention to the woman, Well... Hello beautiful.. Sam said, using his thumb to touch the girls chin and seductively wink at her, wicking away her red hair from her face as he pulled his hand back, So what do we got? Sam asked, the plan was simple, recruit, but maybe a little too simple as Sam didn't actually know what that meant, and he didn't particularly want to walk around asking each and every person here if he could have a moment of their time to talk about their lord and savior.. the ORI..

Mae was a little taken back by Sam. She did not know him very well and here he was, touching her chin, winking at her and brushing her hair to the side. His boldness was definitely a better change of pace. Not many, other than Rafe would have the balls to do something like that without the fear of losing said balls. She just gave him a soft smile as he put his pack down. "Sam, good to see you. We have a few hopeful's but nothing too serious yet. We have signed one individual as a technical advisor for engineering on a capital craft. He was a little older then what we want, but he took half of the salary that we are offering for the position, too" She said to him as she shook the next persons hand. She then handed Sam the application and told him to file it and make note of the mans contact information.

Jackson was scared when Sam said his name. Why was he constantly reminded of his position? It really bothered him, however, he was able to spend the previous week with his wife in an almost free environment and wanted to earn another week like that, so he went back to shaking hands and putting the face on that he was expected to do.

Sam let @Mae Tecono do most of the talking, at least for now, mostly because that placed him behind her, so he could look at her behind.. she'd caught his eye somewhat fierce, though he followed her orders and filed the information, taking his contact info for future use. She'd taken down quite a bit of info, their next of kin, and addresses, emergency contacts and addresses, plenty to force a blackmail should the occasion arise in the future. Very smart.. he thought, turned out under all that fire was some brains afterall.. Sam always considered himself dangerous because of his intellect more than his combative ability and his ruggedly charming allure, no he knew in this Galaxy, intelligence always won... always..

Unfortunately they were here for a very specific set of individuals, they needed not just people who could fly, but people who could teach others how to fly.. this was a tricky one, it required massive amounts of charm and diplomacy all mixed in with some luck.

Just as Sam got caught with his eyes directly pointed at some of @Mae Tecono's assets he caught sight of a small team of Siniteens walking about, checking in at various booths, Sam knew they were typically an excessively smart species, usually very annoying, but smart. If nothing else these beings would have to know something.

Sam made his way over to them, quick to escape the eye contact from Mae, Ah, Hello you lot definitely seem to be interested in gainful employ.. Sam started about, pulling them in, and getting them to loosen up about what it was they were doing here while also trying to push the ORI into their massive brains..

Mae stood there shaking hands and felt a gaze on her. She did not know where it was coming from and scanned the crowd but could not find the set of eyes on her. She felt odd, like she felt the gaze across her body. As she turned to look behind her, she caught Sam just as he was walking past her to introduce himself to some hopefuls. A few of them made their way over to the booth where first Jackson, and then Mae introduced themselves.

Mae was surprised how these Siniteens seemed to know so much about a broad range of things that were needed to train personnel in a fleet and ship management field. She knew that she had to have some of them. She shifted from introductory questions to sales pitching. She was trying to get them no matter what. After they asked some very detailed and thought out questions that she was surprised that they could even come up with on the spot, a few of them wanted to know about pay. Mae asked them what they were looking for, and then promised them 80% of their number plus, room and board. A few of them wanted to sign contracts on the spot in which she directed them over to Jackson while the other few were still skeptical of the operation. These few, she would send to Sam for further questions.

There comes a time where every man must make his own mind up about big ol' retirement. It is hard for Rex to talk let along think about such a thing. He believes he has plenty of pirating left in him. His body my counter that belief and it is because of that, he considers it at all. He knew that Maez was looking for some experienced pilots to instruct at her school and he was going to help look for some until he decided to just go ahead and throw his own hat in the ring. He stepped up to the booth where Maez sat. She looked up at him with an angry brow as if he were late for duty. "No, you are confused little lady, I am here to apply". Her brow turned expression and direction to one of surprise as she could not believe it.
