Had a question, posted it up in the profile. :) Also, just a question I ask to a goodly bit of people asking to start off as a higher rank than normal: Why do you feel he deserves the higher rank? Not trying to be a dick, just want to hear your reasoning behind it.

Question answered: And, I feel as though a higher rank would be deserved due to Torc's particular skills, considerable influence and contacts on Correllia, as well as his access to a ship, flying skills, and willingness to do ''the dirty work'' as well as considerable wealth (or ability to access it) sizeable farming estate (need food, I got food), and local influence in a large city, that would be ideal to hide the knights.

Unfortunately after the time skip we'll have all those things, besides with the True Throne rank is based around the level of trust built up among members. While it's true your character has some things to offer, unless he has proven his worth he's not going to be given a higher rank just because of what he has. It's a meritocracy, where actions are what prove your worth to our band of brothers. There are people who've been working hard towards promotions since joining, and they have many traits that are valuable as well, but still had to prove themselves. I can offer you a spot in the True Throne starting out as an initiate, for the record initiates are capable of leading strike teams if they feel they're qualified, which is where all your traits that you listed would come in handy.
