Imperial HoloNet Address
Hello everyone,
This is the second Imperial HoloNet address for July of 2011. As the first week of the Fifth Timeline wraps up, I have some things I want to notify you all about; you can find all of the information below.
What's New?
A lot! First of all, we've picked out the first four Sith Lords (not counting my own and SIN's Quest Officer) for the Empire. Congratulations to them! Additionally, the Imperial Military has a few new simulations to work with, as well as the beginnings of what will be a Battlegroup thread, similar to the one the Hutt Empire had in the previous timeline.
Most importantly of all, the Mission's thread, as some of you may have noticed, has been updated. We now have a total of 11 Sith Missions and 2 Imperial Missions, but don't fret; the Imperial Missions will increase very shortly. I've had little time to actually sit down and write them. The mission thread also has a Bounty/Hit List for all of our soldiers, Sith, and other members to participate in, so check that out.
Finally, we have an important event with the Imperial Knights happening this weekend. This is your chance to get in on some of the action!
Also, a big shout out to Dark Cloud and his Darth Oseth character! He made the SWRP Facebook page when he bombed a commercial spaceliner. This is a good example of a non-mission, non-quest, non-battle RP that has both an impact on the story, and the character's personal growth. I encourage all of you to engage in RPs of a similar manner. They're fun to write and help your character grow with the RP. Plus, just as Dark Cloud did, you can inadvertently effect the course of the story!
Things to check out
The Stormtrooper Corps is pretty dead at the moment; but it still has time to grow! We want all of your Stormtrooper characters and ideas there, so check them out and give them a try!
The Sith Order boards are also thriving, as expected. Training is ongoing and things are running smoothly there.
What to expect
As soon as we get some more Moffs and Grand Moffs, I will personally convene the Moff Council to discuss future IC developments with the Emperor himself. So, if you've had a Moff character you thought would just sit and collect dust, now's the time to pull them out and use them! Moff characters will be very active in the coming days and weeks of the RP!
Additional Notes
We've all seen the explosion of activity in this site, and I'd like to say the Empire has been very active too. It is only the first week, so I expect the faction to thrive even more as people settle in to the timeline. You guys are all doing great! Have fun and enjoy the RP as much as possible!
