Imperial Broadcasting Service

Peace. Security. Order.

This is an ASK thread showing the in-game broadcasts and transmissions of the Imperial Broadcasting Service. It is assumed that any and all characters can view what is broadcast in this thread.

Please note the following:

  1. The Imperial Broadcasting Service is fully owned by the Sith Empire, and is not owned by a character.

  2. The Imperial Broadcasting Service is monitored by an Imperial Advisor, the Minister for Information; currently Rex Hyporis.

  3. The Imperial Broadcasting Service is based near the Imperial Palace, and whilst it is not directly monitored by the Emperor, it is assumed that the Emperor is close enough to intervene if required.

  4. As such, admins and the OP of this thread have the right to OPEN it, or to request access should there be an IC precedent to do so.

  5. The agency is very bias. As in, so bias Trump probably shouts ‘Fake News!’ at them.

  6. Yes. Malon said this was OK.

Imperial Broadcasting Service

Moff Council Safe

We interrupt your regularly scheduled viewing to bring you the latest from across the Empire.

Follow a regularly scheduled weapons test in the Imperial heartlands, the Imperial Ruling Council has dismissed rumours have been abound that several leading members of the Imperial Moffs Council, and others, have been killed.

“’These rumours have all the hallmarks of the typical seditious language seen by elements of planetary resistance forces in the subjugated Republic worlds, such as Coruscant.’’ cited a spokesperson for the Emperor, Inquisitor and Imperial Advisor Rex Hyporis. “Such rumours are fake news, intended to spread lies across the Imperium. Anyone with concerns as to the wellbeing of their Governors and Moffs should get in touch with the Imperial Broadcasting Service, who can direct them to recent footage of these people in action.”

Earlier this week the Republic supporting Czerka News Network reported that a so-called ‘attack’ had taken out several leading members of the Imperial Court, in news that was widely circulated by the pro-Republic agencies of the Galactic Core and Outer-Rim.

The reports make no mention of the pre-scheduled weapons test of the X7-199 Advanced Explosive Ordnance that had been planned to take place in the Imperial heartlands on the same day as the Moff Council Meeting. Despite the incidents being several hundred miles apart, something else the report fails to mention, its circulation continues.

Moff Athrax, one of the Oversector Moffs, spoke earlier - at a ball with his colleagues held on Korriban to commemorate the Sith Subjugation of Zeltros; “False, utterly false. As someone who works closely with the dignitaries mentioned, I find it shameful that seditious groups would spread lies such as this. It would be a tragic shame if any Imperial Citizens were to fall for such deception!”

The reporter of the original story has yet to comment, yet his family have reported him as missing to the authorities.

Imperial Victory Commemorated on Chandrila

To celebrate the anniversary of the Imperial Victory over the Republic, the Imperial Legion has today unveiled a monument to the Warlord of the Legion, Szebat. Standing astride the ruined Senate Rotunda; the statue depicts, in miniature the Warlords triumphant orchestration of an Imperial Victory that dove into the heart of the Republic.

Whilst the redevelopment of the former Senate world is still underway, the monument marks the beginning of a new era for the Galactic Core, one of peace, stability and unity. Here and the Imperial Broadcasting Service we are happy to announce that the Senate Rotunda, formally a hub for corruption that stood against the interests of the people, is being repurposed at the direct wishes of the Emperor, to serve as a regional garrison and powerbase for the incumbent Moff of the Sector.

Truly a glorious day for the Empire.
