It was finally time for Xeno to give some constructive lessons now that he was out of the prison. He knew he should be resting but he needed to make sure after all that had went down in the Ranger's prison it doesn't happen again. Too many mistakes were made by the apprentice. Xeno needed to be able to teach his apprentice of what he should do. At the least guide him into the right path of battle. One error could cause for your life in a duel. Xeno knew all too well. The Zabrak Champion was left by his comrades to fend off three Jedi and two Acklay. The error was clear to Xeno. He was separated from the other Sith. Then they left him to die. Senin should not suffer the same fate.

The Zabrak would face away from Senin for now. Looking over the ledge of the plateau they remained on, he would look out to the sunrise. It was an early morning, but it was better to start early. Allowed for more time. More practice. More preparation. His red skin was glowing in the sunrise's light. The red planet may have added to it a little as well.

"Boy, come to me.."

There was sternness in his voice but not anger. He was not angry at Senin for his actions. The apprentice did what Xeno would have done for his former master. It was not a bad thing. All that needed to be done was proper teachings, lessons. That would start today.

"Look over this ledge... do you see the beauty of this planet? The way the dangers of this planet are subdued by the sunrise and the colors of red, orange and yellow?"

Dathomir, even with the planet being close to G’wenee, Senin never visited it. He knew that the Dark side had an immensely strong presence on the planet and that it was the homeworld of the Nightsisters and of the Nightbrothers, with his master being born there.

After Xeno escaped the prison, the Acolyte was summoned by his master to the planet. He was already prepared to hear the Zabrak complain about how sloppy he was. But what could he have done? He was alone on this rescue mission, no other Sith bothered to go help Zabrak. Of course, he wasn’t naive, they are the Sith, there is no camaraderie or solidarity between them. However, he still expected them to at least help release Xeno, only to not have him spill the Order’s secrets. As no help came, he had to improvise a very botched rescue plan.

Unlike what he'd expected, his master hadn't made any disapproving comment for what had happened in Dantooine. In reality he said nothing since Senin arrived on the planet. The young man found the Zabrak at a plateau, staring at the sunrise. He waited at some distance, not wanting to disturb Xeno.

When the Zabrak finally spoke, Senin walked to where he was and stopped beside his Master. Just as Xeno had instructed him, the Acolyte looked over the plateau ledge. He could see the sunrise and even knowing how dangerous the planet was, the young man needed to admit that it was a beautiful sight. “Yes, mestre. From what I heard about Dathomir, I never thought that it could be beautiful. It was always called as a dangerous place.

"Yes.. most only consider the dangers of planets such as this one.. but it has beauty and divinity within it. The wildlife is the only danger, as is for most planets."

Xeno kept his eyes forward on the sunrise. He knew that he would need to speak over the incident in Dantooine, but he wanted to savor this moment for now. A sunrise is one of the most beautiful things someone could see. For it to be ignored or disturbed would be morally wrong. Standing with his arms now crossed Xeno will take deep breath before facing the duties of his role as a master.

"Boy.. what you did was foolish.. you understand this right?"

Xeno would not look at his apprentice. The moment called for a reality check. A little shame maybe, but it was necessary to teach the young Acolyte of the realities of this galaxy. To learn from mistakes and move on. At the least, understand where the mistakes were made and take into consideration moving forward.

Still looking at the sunrise, Senin thought about what his Master was saying. From what he read about Dathomir, it housed a plethora of dangerous creatures: Rancors, Chirodactyls and Nydaks. The planet was always called dangerous and violent, but this sunrise made it seem so peaceful. It reminded him of the Great Jungle of G’wenee, the so-called “Green Hell”. It was also a dangerous place, but it was beautiful too.

Then Xeno said that Senin’s attempt to rescue him from Dantooine was foolish. This made the wince “Yes, Mestre, I know.” He knew that it was stupid, it could have ended with both of them imprisoned “Mestre, I know that it was stupid, but no other Sith wanted to help me to save you. So I thought that I would be able to do it alone.

He turned to the Zabrak “Mestre, can you train me to be more powerful? I know that Dathomir is strong with the Dark side, I want to learn everything that I can about it.” he wanted to be more powerful, so next time he would be prepared to fight the Jedi.

Senin's eagerness to become powerful was amusing. It reminded Xeno of himself as an Acolyte. No where he stood teaching another. Of course Xeno would teach his apprentice the ways of the dark side. It was his job, he only needed to know that Senin was eager to learn. Now that it had become clear to him, he would then turn to look at the G'wenee native boy and smirk.

"My apprentice you will learn what I know. I will set you up for success. On one condition."

Xeno took a deep breath and then turned his body to face his apprentice.

"You must never quit. You must never give up on your training, and you must never disobey."

Xeno would wait for the answer that would come back. It would be obvious Senin would agree as Xeno did years back. It would now be time for the training to begin. The master must teach the apprentice.

"First, we test your strength. My first training experience was fighting a wild beast under water. You will learn to control your strength first. Then, you will be ready to fight."

Senin paid close attention to what his Master was saying. He would teach the boy everything he knew, and would make him powerful. However, there was a condition. When Xeno turned and said what he wanted in return, the Acolyte only smirked.

Of course, mestre. I will try my best in my training and I will never quit. I will also always obey you.” he would do whatever it took to be more powerful, never to be at the mercy of others.

When his Master mentioned that he fought a beast under water as his first training experience, the Acolyte wondered if he would need to do something like. "Mestre, how was your time as an apprentice?" he was curious about it. "What was this beast that you needed to fight?"

If Xeno answered these questions, Senin would be prepared to start "Mestre, where will we start my training?" he was excited for it "Are we going to the jungles of Dathomir?"

So many questions already. Was this what fatherhood was like? Dealing with the constant questions from a child? It was exhausting and all Xeno has done was stand there. This boy was going to drive him insane. But the Master would need to teach the Apprentice now or he would never learn.

"My time as an Apprentice was.. eventful. I witnessed the Lord Stolas challenge Lady Malicia. I had fought a Blixus. Hell I even attacked Taris with Lord Stolas."

Xeno smirked as he looked back on the memories he had. Then he took a deep breath and looked to his Apprentice.

"We will stay here for our training. It is secluded and open. Perfect for your training."

Xeno would turn away and walk for about fifteen feet before he would stop and turn to face his apprentice. If training is what he wanted, then training is what he would get. No matter how cruel Xeno made the training or had seemed to Senin moving forward, the boy gave his word he would never quit.

"We begin now.."

Xeno would then reach through the force and coil it around the throat of Senin and begin squeezing enough to restrict breathing and cause for blood pressure in the head to rise. The boy would have to find a way out.

Hear his Master talk about his time as an apprentice was interesting. Senin wondered if he would be witness to important facts like Xeno was. So far he hasn't made or participated in anything important.

The Acolyte nodded to his Master when he said that they were going to train in this place. Senin wondered what it could be. Perhaps he would teach the young man how to do a more powerful Force lightning or even a new Force ability.

Senin was too distracted thinking about the possibilities of his training, that he only felt the Zabrak use the Force when it was already too late. He gasped in surprise, feeling the invisible grip around his neck. Every second he could feel more and more breathlessness.

In an attempt to escape from this, Senin would close his eyes and gather the Force around himself. Then he would start to use it to struggle against the Zabrak's grip around his neck. Xeno would be able to feel the Acolyte fighting against his hold and slowly freeing his neck.

As Xeno kept his grip in the force around the throat of the boy, he would continue to apply pressure. The Zabrak wanted for Senin to succeed, but he knew if he was trained lightly that he would never learn how to become the best. So when Xeno noticed the grip being loosened on his throat, he would lift his other arm and regrip the coil around the boy's throat, the pressure would be strengthened once more, as Xeno would use some anger to fuel the strength behind the choke. The point was to show the boy not everyone is of equal power.

There was belief in the boy. The reason Xeno had chose him was because there would be promise within himself. He can't be posh all the time. He needed to tap into his anger. Xeno would be sure to bring that out of him. As his hatred would bring him power. It was necessary for him to become powerful. Look at Raze. One of the strongest of all the Lords in the Sith. His fuel is hatred for the Jedi. At least as far as he had seen.

Behind gritted teeth from putting more pressure on the boy's throat, he would begin to speak,

"Use.. you hatred! It will.. give you.. power!"

The pressure in the air from the force clashing against the force was showing as the woodline behin them would begin to shake from the gusts of energy, Xeno using a large amount of energy on Senin to teach him to defend against the strongest of force powers.

"DO NOT QUIT!"

When Senin was close to releasing Xeno's grip from his neck, he felt it strengthening again. This time was far more powerful than before. It was not only blocking him from breathing, but if it continued the bones of his neck were going to break.

Senin tried to use the same trick as before to free himself, but it was in vain. His Master was using all his power in this. What he, a simple acolyte, could do against a Champion with power nearly equal to a Sith Lord? He was nothing. For a moment he thought that maybe he could let go and die there, he never wanted to be Sith.

However, he heard his Master telling him to use his hatred. This made Senin remember the only reason that made him still want to be a Sith: the opportunity to be powerful. The Acolyte hated to be weak, others could easily use and hurt him because of that. Like how that bastard hurt him when he was a child, or how the Ravelo used him as a pet, groomed for their own purposes. He hated all of them because of it!

Following his Master's advice, the young man would concentrate all this hatred in the Force and use it to free his neck from the Zabrak's grip. This time, with his rage as fuel, he would be more successful. Xeno would be able to feel Senin's hatred through the Force, while at the same time he lost his hold in the Acolyte's neck.

The Acolyte struggled at first. He seemed to be fading. Then Xeno's advice may have sunk into the boy. Giving some portion of strength to fight the hold Xeno had on his throat. It was impressive, but the boy was not yet ready to take on the likes of stronger opponents. Xeno would relinquish the hold he had in the force to allow the Acolyte to regain his strength. There may still be promise within him. Failure is never an option. Xeno doesn't even tolerate his own failure.

"Good. But you still have a long way to go."

Xeno would walk a couple steps towards the apprentice and had looked at the boy recovering from the choke. Xeno knew the feeling of the force coiling and gripping and squeezing down on the neck. It was suffocating and painful to say the least. Should Xeno have the power of a Sith Lord, Senin would not have been able to be as successful as he was. Now was a time to teach his survivability.

"My apprentice, you must not react in panic. That gets you killed. Had I not given you my advice, you may have fell unconscious. The pain is there, it hurts, but you must remember pain is temporary. You must relax mentally and take a look. Observe. Your environment must be your friend. You strength in the force, your mind, and you weapon.. all are there to aid you in combat."

Xeno then reached out into the force to pull a rock in front of him setting it between him and Senin.

"I am teaching you survivability my apprentice. If you have no survival skills, you will never live long enough to see the likes of the rank Champion. Now.. think fast.."

Xeno would immediately force push the rock towards the boy, it happened to be the size of the average speeder. It was harsh training but he must learn quickly.

Using his rage to give him power, Senin continued to free himself from Xeno's Force grasp around his neck. After what seemed to be an eternity, his Master relinquished the hold and the Acolyte fell on his knees, breathing heavily and coughing.

While his Master walked some steps away from him, Senin wondered if it was how proper Sith training was. He had become Xeno's apprentice shortly before his imprisonment, they had little time for training. The young man didn’t care, he was going to survive all that the Zabrak was going to throw at him. This way he would be more powerful and never be used by someone again.

Having partially recovered from the Force choke, Senin rose from where he had kneeled on the floor. Now standing, the Acolyte paid close attention to what Xeno was talking about. The next time that he comes face to face with an enemy, Senin would remember those pieces of advice.

Then he saw his Master use the Force to put a large rock between them. This time the Acolyte would be prepared for what could happen. When the Zabrak used the Force to push the rock toward him, Senin would stretch his arms and use the Force to stop it. Once again he would use this hatred as fuel to his power. He would think how he hated his biological father, the man that used him, the things that he did when he was a child and the Ravelo for using him for their interests.

Senin would put all his rage in the Force and use it in the rock. His Master was right, this feeling was giving him more strength. By using it, he would not only make the rock stop moving toward him, but would also push it back against Xeno.

It was clear the boy was learning, but he was not ready just yet. He was showing more strength, but skill in dueling would need improvement, he would also need to learn to develop his abilities on his own. Xeno would not always be able to help with everything that his apprentice needs. The Zabrak learned a lot from his master, as well as on his own. Senin should look to do the same.

The rock began to fly back towards Xeno, but it was waved to the side and broke into multiple pieces as it hit the ground leaving imprints in the dirt.

"Good. You have learned to react to the obvious. A special skill that surprisingly a lot of people don't know. The most important thing here today is that you learned how to use your anger. It will aid you in combat."

Xeno would look at his apprentice and then smirk.

"That is enough for today. You are still not ready. We will pick things back up at a later time. For now I need you to focus on your other tasks."

As the Zabrak began to walk back the way they had come he would continue to speak,

"Come now. I have business we should tend to."

By using his anger to amplify his abilities with the Force, Senin stopped the rock from moving toward him and also made it return to his Master. While he did it, the young man felt powerful. He could feel the Dark side and it was delicious.

However, Senin's thoughts about his power were interrupted by Xeno using the Force to move the rock away from him, causing it to shatter after hitting the ground. The Acolyte stared wide eyed at the pieces of the rock. They proved that the Zabrak was far more powerful, he moved it without much effort while the young man needed to concentrate to only stop it. He wanted to be powerful like his Master.

The Acolyte paid close attention to what his Master said. His anger was really an important tool to help him in a fight, this was a lesson that he would never forget. The way that Senin felt when he stopped the rock and threw it back to Xeno was wonderful and it was only possible due to him summoning all the rage that he had.

When Xeno announced that the training was ending, the Acolyte was torn between feeling relieved and sad. He was a bit tired and his throat was still sore from the Zabrak’s Force choke, but at the same time he wanted to train more so he could become powerful like his Master. No, he wanted to surpass even Xeno.

Yes, Mestre.” he nodded to Xeno and started to follow him through the path that they used to arrive here. While they walked, it didn't take much time for Senin to talk again “Where are we going now?” the Acolyte was curious about these “business” that they are going to tend.

As Xeno began to walk away, he heard his apprentice ask behind him where they were going. It was where Xeno had wanted to go. For whatever business he decided was key. The only thing his apprentice needed to know was how to prepare for unexpected attacks. From the sight of the boy's reaction to the surprise force choke, he only panicked. Which was expected as he had never experienced combat.

"I am teaching. What I decide is a matter of importance is for me to decide."

Then Xeno continued walking, the path was fairly long and the surroundings became more jungle like. Dark gloomy trees, and fog within the area. It was new terrain. Better suited for stealthy attacks. Which in this case, Xeno had suffered from. Now he learned, and he would look to teach his apprentice how to defend them.

"Senin. Go walk out there for the next 10 meters."

As the boy would walk out, Xeno would force dash into the fog behind the treeline. Then he continued to hide his force presence to match the energy of the planet. The Zabrak was hidden. Now it was time to teach him to be prepared for anything. Even when you think disaster has come about.

Senin controlled himself to not roll his eyes with Xeno’s answer. Knowing his Master, the Zabrak probably was avoiding needing to say that he had no idea where they were going and that this entire training session was being improvised.

Nevertheless, Senin would continue following his Master, he trusted his teachings. While they walked, the Acolyte would notice that the path was becoming more dark, due to the growing number of trees. Soon the trail became surrounded by a dense jungle.

When Xeno ordered him to walk through the path, Senin didn’t question what he had planned now. "Yes, Mestre." he nodded in agreement and started to walk. He could have questioned the purpose of it, but he didn’t want to annoy the Zabrak. At least for now.

While he walked, Senin looked around, carefully watching his surroundings. The trees formed a dense jungle there. It was perfect for a predator to attack him. Maybe it was Xeno's plan, make the Acolyte face some creature. The young man would concentrate on the Force and the sounds, not wanting to have a nasty surprise.

As Xeno stalked his apprentice from the fog of the trees, he could see that the boy was staying calm and preparing for an attack. It was good but at the same time he would need to be fast as well. Especially for what Xeno had planned for the young apprentice. Looking above Senin, he could see a dead branch, it would be perfect for what he had in store.

"You must prepare for what you expect. As well as what you don't. The key to survival is adaptability."

The Zabraks voice echoed but was coming through the mist at the level of a whisper. Dathomir offered many tricks to the mind, which is why Xeno loved to train on the planet. He felt that he could really gain new abilities and new strength he hadn't had before just from the aura the planet gave off.

After letting what Xeno said sink in for the boy, he would force pull the branch down towards the apprentice. As well as charged in silently from behind the boy. No lightsaber drawn as he wasn't looking to slay his apprentice, instead he wanted to show he would be lacking if he could come close and show he could have placed a saber in their back. Though if the apprentice could feel the presence of his master coming in from behind, or calmly listen for the steps rushing in, he would have a short moment to prepare.

While Senin walked through the forest, he would use the Force to focus on his surroundings. He still didn’t know what Xeno's plan was, but he would not be taken by surprise. The forest around him was dense and full of life. The Acolyte could hear several sounds made by the creatures moving around it.

He heard the voice of his Master coming through the mist. It had an eerie effect, as if Xeno was some sort of ghost. The Acolyte paid close attention to what the Zabrak was talking about.

Adaptability, Senin knew how being adaptable was important to survive. When he lived on the streets, the Acolyte needed to adapt or he would die. He did several things, some of which he is not proud of having done. When he accepted being a Sith, the young man needed to adapt to this new life. He knew what would happen if he failed.

After some time of silence, Senin heard a branch move over his head. Thinking that something could be trying to attack him coming from there. However, he soon heard steps coming behind him. He quickly turned, seeing his Master coming toward him. Without much time to think, the Acolyte would do a Kapu’era move known as queda de quatro. By literally falling off on all four, he would simply fall backwards into a crab-walk position, then he would use the Force to help him scurry backwards faster. This way he hoped to get away from Xeno.

Watching his student notice he was being charged was a bit of a relief. Almost enough to let the training come to an end right now, but then that would be too easy. So Xeno decided to instead watch the reaction take place. When the boy had crawled backward from the branch, the Zabrak noticed he was in a hard to dodge position, and force pushed the branch towards the boy right before it would hit the ground.

With the branch flying towards the boy he would continue to charge, this was what real combat would be like. Spontaneous and wild. Fast paced. Senin would need to keep up if he wanted to prove he was ready to be in combat. So far he wasn't doing a terrible job. Still not as fast and strong as he needed to be but he could get there soon if he trained properly.

Now it was time to see how well Senin reacts to the oncoming assault. Hopefully the boy does not fail his master.

When Senin made the queda de quatro, he had thought that he would have evaded the branch and his Master’s attack. It made him become overconfident and ignore what Xeno could do next.

The Acolyte barely had time to process when his Master used the Force to make the branch go directly toward him, while the Zabrak was still charging. In an attempt to defend himself, Senin changed his position from a queda de quatro to a queda de três. Using his legs and left arm to maintain his balance on the floor, the young man would stretch his arm and use the Force on the branch.

Doing it he would redirect it toward the Zabrak, hoping that it would distract him and make him stop his charge. If it was successful, Senin would then get up and move against Xeno. The Acolyte would do an armada, a reverse roundhouse kick, aiming directly at his Master's head.
