Open to Sith Eternal members until Edwast's next post, then open to all.

Edwast was a gentleman in first and foremost, which is why he wouldn't dare poison you before meeting you for the first time. Normally he would wait till the second or third time seeing you before he considered pouring venom into your morning coffee. As such he figured he would meet with a few of his fellow followers of Eternal so as to see if any of them will prove useful in his hunt for knowledge, and if any of them will get in the way. How would he do this? A simple stop at a crowded cafe to see who kept their presence hidden well enough. He had recently put out a request for assistance with test subjects, and wanted to see if any of them were capable of the task.

He also just wanted coffee, and this was one of his favorite locations on Naboo. He walked in and greeted the owner with a handshake and a quick "Dad joke" promptly asking the Gungan female to
"spill the beans". Normally anyone would have cringed at the joke, but he'd gotten to know her sense of humor with the few interactions he had with her, so getting her to laugh was easy. Good, it's easier to fool someone when they think you're funny. She would make a fine witness to his character should that ever be called into question, and it was important to give your personas a footprint to follow.

He arrived first, purposefully arriving an hour earlier than the time he sent out to the others. He took his seat and smiled at the passerby, he wasn't too familiar with any of the other members so this was a good chance to get to know their faces. He'd been so busy maintaining this "Ricard" persona he hadn't had time to establish himself in the Cult of Eternal, though he saw the idea of personally meeting and getting to know each member redundant. He wasn't here to make friends, only get know who would be a decent ally for the progression of the cause as it were. Also a good time to take note of resources available to them. And so there he sat taking the occasional sip from his mug which he brought from home, he found the idea of drinking from a public mug given out to customers disgusting after all.

Magos was burnt out. Usually his afternoons in his persona as a shady fortune teller were a purely mental exercise, as Numerology usually does require actively calling upon the Force, despite his belief it was driven by it. His first and only client that day had been a Jedi of all women, and his use of Psychometry had exhausted him spiritually as well as physically. When he checked his computer after the reading however, he found that a fellow Eternal was seeking to have coffee of all things, here in Theed of a places. The shop, a proudly Gungan run establishment, was not far from his shop, so he decided to go meet this, "Edwast Broelm". He was a Legionnaire, and as an Guardian Magos did not know many members of his Order's other half.

Walking into the cafe, he nodded to the barista, slipping into a Gungan Pidgin to order a cup of tea, his second for the day. He looked out across the booths, sensing that a fellow Eternal was already present. His eyes fell upon a human man, darkly dressed, nursing a cup of coffee in a unique mug. That must be Edwast, he thought to himself. He crossed the room toward him and came to a stop next to the table. "Ricard, its nice to see you! It's been so long, I can't wait to catch up!" He said, hoping that dropping Edwast's cover name would clue him in that he was a fellow Sith. He sat down across from him. He is more hushed voice he said, "Magos Otahn: Guardian, Archaeologist, Pyschometrist, and Numerologist extraordinare, good to meet a fellow Eternal. Heard you were looking to make connections, and I'm something of a local. What brings you to this humble homeworld of the Last Sith to do so?"

The bustling streets of Naboo vibrantly hummed as the local populace went about their daily business. Parents and their children enjoying time out in the afternoon sun, diplomats and suited corporate workers scurrying to their next obligatory meeting, shopkeepers arduously decorating their store fronts in hopes of pulling a few souls off the sidewalk. All of them seemed content in their mundane lives, completely oblivious to the assassin that walked among them. Trinity took in a sharp breath of the refreshing Nabooian air through her nose, the familiar scent of Rominaria and Millaflowers filling her senses, there too was the faint smell of rich, roasted caff that marked her destination. Trinity lowered her head and made sure her cap was fitted tight. It had been a few years since she had last been on her homeworld of Naboo so the chances of her being recognised were slim however due to the mysterious circumstances of her departure, she could not take that chance.

Many times Trinity had questioned herself as to why she had even replied to the transmission sent by this 'Edwast'. She knew very little of the man himself and even less about his intentions. All she knew was that he was a scientist of sorts but in her eyes that was enough. A scientist that may be able to derive some answers as to what exactly she was. It was a long shot, she knew, but one she was willing to take. Trin crossed the wide cobble road and arrived at the door to the coffee shop that was designated to be their meeting place. Hardly an apt location for a meeting such as this, she thought. While she knew that hiding in plain sight was an effective method of disguise, this just seemed a little inappropriate. She opened the door and stepped through into the coffee shop, the faint ringing of a brass bell announcing her arrival. Once again she dropped her head to avoid any curious eyes. The warm, earthy aroma was now thicker and soft, jazzy tunes could be heard wafting from the small stage in the corner of the room where a trio of bith musicians performed. After a couple seconds she lifted her head again to scan around the room for her fellow Sith cultists.

It took her a short while to identify the man and gungan among the various groups situated inside the shop, she knew herself that this spot was a popular one, after all it had been around since long before she... 'ventured off' the planet. The man who she assumed to be Edwast matched the brief set of features that she had to go off. This would be the first time she'd met either him or the gungan that sat across from him. Trinity casually sauntered over to their table, nicking a half-full cup of black coffee from another patron that was otherwise preoccupied. She removed her glasses in preparation for her introduction, revealing her vivid amber eyes. Upon arrival at their table she held her hand to each of them individually, "Ricard is it?" Her words were warm and accompanied by a bright smile, "Trinity." she replied sharply. Her eyes switched to the amphibious fellow, "I don't believe we've been acquainted either." She placed her cup down on the table, pulled back the chair and sat down.

Theed was a city you could get lost in, and never want to be found. Every street, every building, every brick seemed to tease at a wealth of history and culture hidden just beneath the surface. The stained glass and cut stone seemed to run on as far as the eye could see. Korsak was largely indifferent to the 'predatory' philosophy of his fellow Eternals, but if they ever brought fire and saber to this jewel he'd go rogue. Some things were simply too beautiful to destroy. But Korsak wasn't here to admire the pretty architecture or make abstract battle plans to defend Naboo. He wasn't here to get lost or found, he was here to find someone.

Another Eternal named (or at least given the pseudonym) 'Ricard' was looking for help with a matter of research into the Force. Korsak was all for helping a fellow Eternal deepen their colletive understanding of the Force, but he had no idea why this man had chosen a public coffee shop as his meeting place. Even if they weren't in the middle of a busy public café discussing private Sith Eternal matters, being in open spaces like this made Korsak uncomfortable. Not because he was shy or social awkward, but because everyone and their mother tried to stop and pet him, and he couldn't even snap their necks with the Force. The indignity left him fuming.

So when he finally arrived at the coffee shop he opted to blow past the cooing woman behind the counter and straight towards the small gathering that had already assembled in the back. If he wanted something to drink, he could order on the way out the door.

"My name is Korsak, and let's make this fast before some inane child mistakes me for a plush toy."
Korsak growled as he took an open seat at the table.

Edwast gave a warm smile to each of the new arrivals, taking note of their movements from the door to the table. People watching was a favorite pass time of his, and it's how he's managed to keep up the charade that is "Ricard" for so long. Small things like how they interact with those around them who weren't Eternal to how they approach Ricard were all being calculated in the back of his head, and much to his pleasure each of them came across as regular civilians. This was already a good start.

The Gungan was the first person he initially greeted, Standing up with a wide smile and a firm handshake prepared for the Guardian,
"I know right? Time sure flies! But I just had to come and visit such a beautiful planet! So full of life." He then turned and returned the handshake of her fellow Legionnaire, a human female by the looks of it. "Ah, I can already tell someone is going to be the woman of the hour. Hello there, Miss Trinity." He returned to his seat and watched with a intense wave of amusement as the third invitee arrived, a small furry Amaran. With a wave of "Awww it's so cute" and other compliments to it's appearance Edwast found the irony of his temperament to be the most delicious thing in this cafe. As it took it's seat with it's gruff greeting he gave him a wide smile."Yes yes, I'll try not to take up too much of your time." His voice was bright and cheerful, almost like he had been bursting at the seams with joy, as he spoke to each of them.

"As you all know, my name is Ricard Delone, I am a scientist specializing in Biology and other aspects of the body and mind." He turned to the crowd for a moment as he spoke, casually drinking his coffee and taking in the view. "I trust you all didn't have any trouble getting here, I know some of you hate crowds but I just could not get coffee anywhere else that is this good!" He made sure to say the last sentence loud enough for the Barista to hear and raised his mug. From the way Edwast moved he was almost entirely comfortable in here. "Now I don't often like to ask for favors, so when I do I like to get to know the people I am working with. Even if you're not helping me now chances are that we'll be working together in the future, so it's good to network and talk shop. Of course, I imagine you're all fully capable of showing discretion." He gave the group a wink as he finished speaking, sipping his coffee and watching each of them closely, it was his first time speaking to other members out in public so he figured he'd enjoy himself.

~THEME~

Naboo was nice. Too nice. Kai was sure that he was going to stick out if he wore his usual baggy Nar Shaddaa attire. Then again he felt like he was going to stick out regardless. The Grysk looked like a walking skeleton. Tipping his hat down a little, the smoke from his cigara rose and hit the brim of his wide hat before curling around it and becoming lost in the air. His already grinning macabre face spread the tiniest bit wider. "Heh, friggin normies."

The more he walked down the cobble stone street the more he was beginning to think this Edwast guy was a few fries short of a happy meal. Everything was so bright and positive. Any dark siders that came to this planet would probably stick out. Aside from looking like a skeleton, Kai was pretty sure he could pass himself of as some kind of holy man or pilgrim. Maybe a nerf herder. They wear these kinds of clothes I think.

Kai had just been passing through towards another endeavor and happened to be close enough that it made sense to drop in. Had he been a parsec further the Legionnaire would have ignored the call. Checking his wrist chrono he made sure to update it to the local time.

He continued to try and set up his watch as he walked into the coffee shop. His bowed head keeping his hat in front of his smoking face. "Can I uuuuuuuuuh get uuuuuuuh coffee please. Some room for....cream." The woman gave him a look like the odd customer he was but still served him all thee same. His tone was clearly distracted by him trying to figure out how to set his wrist chrono. "Uuuuh thhhanks." The Grysk stopped fussing with it long enough to pay for his beverage.

Looking up and around he saw the startled expression of the barista. Kai just stared back, smoke continuing to rise from the stub between his teeth. "Oh right, no smoking." Normally he would not care but being nice tended to help with blending in. Turning back around he headed back out to the entrance and stomped the cigara stub out. While his back was turned towards everyone inside he filled what room had been left in his coffee with the contents of his flask he stashed in his outfit before pocketing it again.

Heading back inside he quickly found the table since it seemed the 'Ricard' character had just finished talking. "Kark...am I late?" Kai had not caught all of what the man had said. Either way he would find a seat between Korsak and Trinity. "Sup."

Magos recieved Edwast's handshake with grace, and sat down across from him. Two others found their way into the cafe, a Human and a small vulpine. The two introduced themselves. Korsak seemed to be a kindred spirit, not getting respect he deserved based on his race, but Trinity struck him oddly. Her signature was undoubtedly dark, but cold. He pulled a napkin off the table, and began making an attempt spelling the name "Trinity" with a small pen kept in his robe. He then made began to make hashes next to each letter. Maybee he could figure out it's Chandrillan Value. It was hard, it was not uncommon for cultists to forsake their birth names, and that name sounded chosen.

He had already begun recalling his charts when 'Ricard' began to address them. He kept up the act and wisely got the crowd to believe this would be a bland academic discussion. He made it clear he planned to recruit the lot of them on some task, but Magos did not mind. He sort of looked forward to any sort of mission with company. He usually was on his own out digging through ruins and tombs, a cooperative job would be a change of pace.

He looked back at the napkin and finished hashing. He grew a bit pale, and muttered, "18, makes sense. But still 18..." His speech trailed off into Gungan: /I'm surprised such a material value could dwell within a Sith, so cold./ He looked up and saw quite the character enter the cafe. An odd looking Givin, by the looks of it. The man wore a pilgrims hat and cloak in black, so he assed he was a fellow Sith. Certainly drew attention when came over. He hoped the locals weren't the curious type when it came to outlanders. The man's curse and graceless greeting added to his unease.

All members of their little gathering seemed to have arrived, the undeniable differences of their motley crew might've drawn a curious gaze however it seemed that the room was too preoccupied on its own goings on to notice. Plus, it seemed that all members present could handle themselves in a public space. Trinity inspected the mannerisms of the elder man seated across from her. The way he spoke, his stifling enthusiasm and exaggerated body language. Perhaps it was just her inert awareness stemming from a rigorous lifestyle as an assassin but it seemed to her as if he was trying especially hard to perfect some artificial persona. While intriguing, she filed the thought away, instead choosing to focus on the gungan cultist, Magos. Having been raised on Naboo from birth, she would often come into contact with members of his species, even taking it upon herself to understand their language. Most of them were hospitable enough, often comical to the degree of silliness. Trinity derived no humour from them though, instead she was more interested in what lay underneath. The slight tinge of anger towards humans, an emotional scar running deep through countless generations since the first encounter between the two peoples.

Trin could sense the attention of this 'Magos'. While she didn't catch his open gaze, there was something that told her she was being analyzed. Not that she blamed him, she would do the same for each of the members around the table. What truly intrigued her however, was the writing on the napkin. She couldn't quite make out what it was that he wrote and just as she was about to shift in her chair to catch a better view, another voice caught her attention. Trinity's stone-cold eyes met with those of a skeleton. Without even flinching at the sight she sharply replied to his greeting. "Howdy partner," She said softly, her right hand tipping her cap while her left brought the cup of black caff to her mouth. It was then that Edwast had finished his little introductory speech to which Trinity would reply, "Discretion is my specialty, Mr Delone."

And as if on cue with fate itself being the comedian, Brahe entered the coffee shop. The young half-echani/half human padawan was dressed in what was clearly Jedi attire, albeit it was a lighter, more breathable getup than the traditional long, flowing robes that the order was usually known for. A short sleeve vest-like robe coupled with a long sleeved undersuit that had bandages wrapped around it indicated a more athletic design, but what was most unmistakeable of all was the Jedi’s weapon- a purple bladed lightsaber clipped to his belt at the waist.

Brahe was naive, outgoing, and perhaps not the brightest mind in the room. He was brash, headstrong, and held a strong passion for starships, particularly of the TIE variety. It might even be said that one might wonder why he was a Jedi at all? The kid, more than anything else, was a malleable soul. One untwisted or untainted by the ravages of experience and/or time, this meant that his mind was easily influenced or swayed. Passion and love of life, more than anything, was the modus operandi of this young man, despite it being the antithesis of the more….traditional path of the Jedi.

"Discretion is my specialty, Mr Delone."

Brahe approached the group, his eyes wandering to the beautiful woman he saw who was none other than Trinity. When she spoke, her voice was like melodic hellfire to the padawan. A hint of brash fire, coupled with a mysteriousness that he couldn’t exactly place his bets on when it came to an educated guess. But it enamored him nonetheless, and he couldn’t help but follow his gut instinct to meet her, to know the beauty’s name.

“And beauty as well, I think.” He said, smiling to Trinity. Looking at the rest of the group, he smiled in a friendly fashion before introducing himself. “I’m Brahe. I came here for some coffee, but when I saw you…” He turned to Trinity again. “I felt my heart skip a beat, and I couldn’t help but want to know your name.” He said, smiling with a slight hint of a blush to his echani features. He reached out with his hand to shake hers.

If she responded positively to the intro, he’d say “It’s nice to meet you.” , but if she didn’t, he’d respond with “I apologize, I didn’t mean to be rude…”

Out of the corner of his eye, he spotted Korsak and gave him a smile and a little wave of the hand, as if to indicate he was saying 'Hi, little adorable guy!', and then reverted his attention back to what was obviously probably nothing more than the local improv hardcore metal band, the Sacred Band of Ziost. Stage 1 of wooing super hot potential Sith cultist girlfriend? Checkmate. However suicidal or unlikely the attempt was. Stage 2? Landing the attempt. Still in progress...

Oh how little the poor kid realized what he was getting himself involved in...

While Korsak had to admit Ricard's ability to euphemistically phrase this meeting was impressive, it seemed tedious to have to bury every request under five layers of nuance and winking grins. Korsak got the gist of this operation, capture unwilling test subjects, acquire knowledge of the Force, apply B to A until new knowledge is achieved. It was a straightforward process, and he hoped that this meeting would be equally easy to work through.

Those hopes were promptly dashed when two more strangers approached the table, one a skeletal creature who seemed to be late for this very meeting. The fact that he didn't even stare at Korsak did somewhat brighten his mood, but that mood was quickly broken when a child barged his way into the conversation, apparently attempting to flirt with the human woman in their midst. The fact that he decided to wave like an imbecile at Korsak only added insult to insolence. If he broke for a chair Korsak had full intention to yank it out from under him with his foot before the Echani's butt hit the seat.

Edwast had just finished speaking when what seemed to be their final visitor arrived, a skeleton by the looks of it, how fitting. Edwast was mid speech at the time of his arrival but given the whispers he knew of his arrival and had him in the corner of his eye, Drawing attention wasn't something Edwast was against and the man was wise enough to treat the barista with kindness. Yes he could work with them but he needed to see more.

As if on cue an Echani child waltzed right up to Trinity and began "making moves" on her or something, he wasn't sure of the terminology. What he was sure of was that this is possibly the single greatest thing that could happen. The first thing to catch his attention were the young man's robes. No no no there's not way this could be that perfect, is this a Jedi? his eyes then trailed down to his waist where- Ah there it is, perfect. He figured given his young age he was likely still a Padiwain? Is that how it's pronounced?

From ear to ear his grin grew as the boy called the Amaran not only adorable but little. He wanted to laugh but instead decided to use this to his advantage.
"Just in time! Have a seat, it's not everyday you meet a Jedi right?" He promptly moved a chair out for the young Echani and then gave Trinity and Korsak a glance, filling his face with coffee mug before lowering it down and leaning back. "I am sure all of us would love to hear about some of you adventures right?" The coffee tasted extra delicious today.

"Doubt" He said in response to Trinity's statement but was spoken over by the introduction of an obvious jedi. Maybe he is just some kid posing as a jedi. Nope. That's a real lightsaber on his belt. The day just became more interesting.

Kai ended up snorting into his mug as he listened to what Brahe said. He could not help himself but try and fail to stifle a laugh at the manners of the young echani-human hybrid. "I guess the youngling classes got out early today. Amiright? hehehe" He spoke towards Korsak but said it intentionally loud enough for Brahe to hear.

Pleased with himself the covert legionnaire sat back into his seat. "So we're going to talk about stories and get to know one another? I've got some stories." His eyes looked towards Edwast for confirmation. It went from an apathetic tone to one with a hint of mischief. Kai imagined they were a few steps away from doing a team building activity like sharing where they want to vacation or what their favorite color was. If that ended up being the case then Kai did not want to remain sober. And like that Kai's spiked coffee was already gone.

Maybe this was Ember's Padawan, but she failed to mention him during their meeting. If not her than who? Clearly no Master's in site, did the Jedi really let their young travel alone? Regardless, he had no idea what Edwast was doing by encouraging this interloper. He had far more respect for their lost brothers than most Eternals, but he still knew better than to risk revealing the cult.

He had the feeling he was going to be playing interfence between this Brahe and Trinity to keep the meeting going. Edwast seemed to revel in the challenge of discussing Sith Matters at table with a Jedi, and who was he not to play along. If he can convince another Jedi that that he was a Dagoyan, he certainly could play this game. He thought back to nuna-ball as a child. He always played interference, and someone certainly needed to keep Trinity and Korsak from locking blades with the poor fool. Especially due the odd feeling Trinity seemed to emmit.

He turned to Brahe. "Greetings Young Master Jedi, I would love to hear your stories of heroism across the stars. But I must ask where your manners are! Don't you know my good friend Trinity here is betrothed? Or was she courting, dating? I can never keep you humans and your mating practices straight. And my good friend Korsak would *most certainly* like to be given the same respect as any adult sentient." He hoped Trinity was as good an actor as he a liar. She certainly seemed so. Likewise he hoped Korsak had thick enough skin to let the child's cooing wave be temporarily forgotten.

He patted the table and briefly looked desperately at Edwast for approval or denial toward his move. He hoped he was better at this than he ever was at nuna-ball.

Just as Trinity was about to probe Edwast as to some of the details pertaining to his request, she was interrupted yet again. This time by an ashen-haired figure dressed in a set of short robes, the glint of a metal hilt catching the eyes of the assassin. Her eyes narrowed quickly as she fully analyzed him from head to toe. While his look didn't perfectly fit the Jedi mold, the lightsaber was a dead giveaway. What are the odds of this encounter. Brahe's introductory line was forwardly flirtatious and directed at Trinity. Her left hand drifted from her mug to one of the silvery forks which she promptly slipped under the table. Immediately her cheeks flushed a falsified red and she let off an embarrassed giggle. For a moment she was unsure as to how she would properly react to the situation. Part of her thought to play along to save face yet another part thought it best to just excuse herself and exit the situation, her hand clung tightly to the fork's handle. Luckily the gungan, Magos interjected and convincingly gave her an out to his advances. "My my, I'm flattered." Her eyes wandered side to side and finally settled on the Echani Jedi. With her right hand she grabbed a lock of her jet black hair and started to twirl it between her fingers.

A vibrant smile spread across her face and she continued, "My name's Renée, however while I'm thankful for your kind words mister Brahe, I'm afraid my amphibious friend here is correct." Trinity raised her left hand from under the table, revealing a silvery-metal metal ring wrapped around her finger. "That being said, I would love for you to join us. Please, pull up a chair and sit down." The raven-haired woman gestured to one of the now few open spaces around the table

A brief wave of disappointment washed over Brahe as he listened to Trinity’s response.

Whoever her fiancé is, is incredibly lucky., he thought to himself.

In the brief moment following his introduction, the entire group showed a keen interest in the young Jedi, giving the padawan a certain level of unease about the situation. He was far from discovering their affiliation to the Sith Eternal, but their…..enthusiasm for getting to know him seemed a bit off. The gungan didn’t speak in the manner that he heard Gungans usually speak; the “meesas” and “weesas” and “yousas” having all been replaced by the voice of an articulate, well educated nobleman. Was it a formal Naboo education? Perhaps Coruscanti?

He brushed that thought aside as he remembered who he really was representing- the newest generation of jedi! The lightsaber wielding, force manipulating guardians of peace and justice throughout the galaxy! A lineage that spanned eons, of which the name Skywalker was a household name! In short, a Jedi might as well have been a minor celebrity for a small coffee shop in the middle of Naboo, and here he was, being unabashedly open about it.

“I apologize, I didn’t mean to be rude…whoever your fiancé is, is a very lucky person.” He said to Trinity, with a slight bow.

He bit his lip. “And….I’m sorry, mister Korsak. I uhm….well this is the first time I’ve seen your kind.” He couldn’t help but reveal a slight blush on his face, contrasted easily against the porcelain features of his half echani complexion.

He obliged the offers for him to sit amongst them, sitting next to Trinity, of all the persons at the table. Whether it was fate or luck, that seat just so happened to be furthest away from Korsak, which was likely for the best.

Kai’s comment elicited a rather amusing reaction from the young padawan, as he crossed his arms and raised an eyebrow.

“I’m not a youngling. I’m eighteen. But I’m not a master either. My master, Mi’la Tesara, is the one you should meet if you want to see someone like that.”

An idea popped up in his head, and he smiled, reaching for his comlink and paging Mi'la herself! Surely they'd like to meet his master. The goal he had in mind as a Jedi was to help the galaxy become a better place by healing those who were from war torn, ravaged parts of the galaxy. Meeting the faces behind that effort would surely garner support amongst the public!

"In fact, no worries! She's probably on her way now! I just paged her!"

Korsak almost kicked himself, how could he have missed the child's lightsaber? It was hanging off his belt in plain view for all to see. This was alarming enough on its own but the fact that 'Ricard' seemed to not only encourage the boy, but grin at his childish behavior only twisted the Amaran's tail further. Thankfully, the Gungan Mago was quick to step in and correct the child on his misstep, which earned some blushing apology from the child. A child that, unfortunately, had insulted a very vindictive Amaran.

"I'd rather you intended to insult me. That might imply intelligence."
He clapped back coldly without a hint of remorse or restraint. The fact that his flirtations were also quickly shot down was just icing on the proverbial cake. It was at this point that the skeleton leaned over to Korsak and chimed in loudly at the boy's expense, something that clearly left him blushing even further.

"You think this boy has ever been in a classroom in his life?"
Korsak whispered back just as loudly, joining in with Kai's cackling. His laughter quickly died out when the boy pulled out his commlink and proudly declared that he'd invited his master to their little coffee meet. A Jedi master and Padawan, invited to a Sith Eternal meeting in the middle of a public coffee house on Naboo. You couldn't write this with all the spice in the galaxy.

"I think I need coffee..."

Mila had been sitting in a tea shop, enjoying the quiet and tranquility that the small store provided. It was nice, in fact, the only thing that could top this would be a Lekku massage on the beaches of Spyira. Of course, those cost credits, and she probably would never be able to afford another one of those trips ever again. A Rodian approached her with a tea kettle, which prompted a smile from the knight. "Would you like more tea?" Mila shook her head, waving the woman away. "Oh, no thank you. I'm quite fine for the time being, thank you." When the waitress left, Mila went back to her readings, looking through the holonet for any clue on where they would set out to next. There had to be more sites to excavate, and she was going to find them.

All seemed well in the galaxy for the time being, but she did sense something amiss. Brahe wasn't where he said he was going to be, though she doubted he was going to the 'library', she didn't sense him anywhere near the library. She decided to let him have his fun, after all, she had been rather hard on him as of late; let the boy enjoy himself, what could go wrong. Of course, this little moment was shattered when her com began to go off, an emergency message from Brahe that was broadcasting the signal to her comlink. Her eyes widened in horror, as she shot up and nearly knocked her little tea table over. Within moments, she had slammed credits on the table and was out the door, moving with an unnatural speed to find her padawan; what on earth was happening to him? Hold on Brahe, I'm coming.

Incredible, absolutely incredible, this is already turning into a somewhat chaotic mess. Edwast was enjoying himself to no end, from the oblivious Jedi walking right into a meeting of Eternals to the failed attempts to woo what Edwast believed to be a peak sociopath and inevitable serial killer. Not to mention that he proceeded to insult a homicidal Amaran. If he wasn't so involved with science, he'd probably use this material to start a career as a comedy writer. But as much as he was enjoying himself, he was also a man who had things to do, so it was about time to get back to work.

"Don't worry about it, Mr.Brahe, we all falter socially from time to time. I'm impressed by your willingness to accept fault for your manners. Besides, I am sure you'll find a lovely young woman soon enough who isn't spoken for, the galaxy is a large place after all, imagine if you only had a planet to pick from." His smile had somewhat faded as he finished speaking to the Echani and he gave a quick wink to Magos, impressed with his work. He extended his hand "And before I forget my manners, my name is Ricard Delone. While I am no Jedi I think my work as a biologist is pretty impressive." He barely caught a glimpse of the fork going missing on Trinity's side of the table, he hoped that Magos had just saved him a headache with his quick thinking.

He then heard the words that almost made the smile pop back onto his face, The boy would be calling his master here, the irony of this situation was almost delicious, but he couldn't let himself get distracted by this situation, he still had more he wanted to discuss after all.
"Well Brahe as I was telling these people, I am a Biologist specializing in the affects of space travel on sentient beings, my company makes environmental suits. We're actually having a meeting in regards to some future operations that we'll be having, one of them is a round up of test subjects for some...special experiments. Now, I am sure someone who has experienced the galaxy like you have knows about how dangerous it can be when it comes to information being spread, as such..." He raised his mug and glanced around the table.

"I called a meeting with some people who happen to work in similar areas to help me in my search for suitable subjects, and set up a general network of reliable people. I will admit I wasn't sure how I could confirm that all of these people could act in a discretionary manner at first. Then you happened by, A real Jedi and your master, if you would be so willing to sit in on the meeting this will surely help us learn control both within and out in the long run. While most of you are likely sure of your abilities, I'd like to see for myself." He took a long sip from his mug before waving to the Gungan barista to bring him some more. "Besides, while the context will mainly be kept a secret during this meeting, I am sure an adventurer like you would have keen insight on the subject of prolonged space travel."

The Grysk grinned in response to how Brahe responded. They were the words of a kid. It made him smile knowing he had the power to push people's buttons, bait them towards certain response. Kai allowed himself to bask in his own awesomeness for awhile though it was really just narcissism at work.

The entertained expression of the macabre legionnare turned into his version of a stoic face. It is hard to pull off a straight face when one has a face of a grinning skull all the time. But Kai sat there, bored. His fingers tapped along his empty cup until Edwast started talking again. He thought about himself and then his eyes looked back at the padawan.

Kai started to make sure his concealment was still substantial enough that he would not seem like anything special out of the group. The teenager might not be able to have the experience, wisdom or skill to pick up on things but this potential Jedi Master could detect the mark of the dark side. It was best that he just conceal himself fully now before she arrived.

With his focus partially on Edwast he tried to extrapolate what he had missed. Even outside of school as an adult he could not give someone his fullest attention. But it also was hard to understand what kind of angle Edwast was working. Kai was not entirely sure he understood what the aim was. His eyes stared up towards the ceiling until he had a thought. But for now he kept it to himself.

There seemed to be a Jedi convention here in Theed. He had met one earlier and now this Padawan and his master. Ember he had befriended, as he was alone and he personally held no ill will towards his lost brothers. However he now sat in council with a group of fellow cultists that circled this Padawan like sharks. He doubted that all could hide their signatures from a Master. He had seen a mother narglatch tear apart a threat to her twin cubs and he feared a similar reaction from this child's teacher.

Regardless, Edwast seemed to have a plan of sorts and as such he would keep playing his game. "Yes Young Master Jedi, do tell. I heard stories that is was your folks who ended the most recent Clan War on Rodia and who brought the Ebon Corsair to justice. I'm sure you have been on numerous great adventures as well."

He quickly began building a shallow persona as a researcher while sending for the arrival of this Brahe's master. The disinterest on Kai's face concerned him but he hoped he had more tact than he seemed. Doubt.
