"Is that a threat, paleskin?" Jad Luk replied to Yamizee, once more looking away from the viewport, and glaring at her. The ship smashed through civillian shuttle, rocking somewhat, as though it went over a speedbump. He squinted, before looking forward once more. "Rear left, rear left," he repeated the lady's warning, before yelling into the headset, "blast it!"

He smiled softly to himself after hearing the dual-blast of laser fire. Then promptly frowned as Mateo criticized himself on the mic.
"You blind back there? Land your damn shots!" he ordered. He heard another shot fire, and with a satisfied nod, he listened to the muffled sounds of a ship crashing into solid infrastructure. "There we go, you're not useless after all."

Luk pressed a button on the control panel, a hiss escaping through the ship as something audibly depressurized.
"Droid, start repairing the ship. There's a set of tools in the Bay, and you seem the sort to ship-walk. Ramp's open."

Jad Luk looked to the side, glancing at Sinder.
"Get used to murder, 'cause that's my business. And now that you're with me, it's our business. Unless you want out, in which case, I'll happily land, and you can go back to running." At the call of the all-clear, Luk leaned back in his seat, sighing out.
"I'm not re-painting my ship. There's plenty that look like this, and if we get investigated, we'll just kill whoever got too nosy for their own good. The ship stays as is."

Yamizee allowed the droid to hover back over to her her lap where she inspected the now-functional arm. Seems Happy had done a good job of it. "This doesn't make us even.", she spoke retrospectively to the droid as she shot a glance over, "But thanks.".

Switching her attention back to the primary console, she expressed "No, it wasn't a threat." to the Duros just before being jerked back in her seat by the impact of the freighter hitting the civilian shuttle. Another casualty probably tallied onto the Duros' kill count. She sighed, the reminder of the contusion on the back of her noggin becoming ever apparent. A hand held against the bruise itself and with a look of strain and mild annoyance, she spoke to Jad once again, "Could you please fly a bit more carefully? Or at the very least avoid hitting random people on the way.".

Finally, she turned to Happy yet again, uttering "If you're going to fix up the ship, take Gorgeous with you. She works wonders.". Yamizee then allowed the Seeker Droid to leave her lap and follow Happy as commanded.

Mateo nearly fell out of his seat as the ship shook upon ramming into another he got back up and sat down again, "What the kriff was that?!" he quickly said into the communications device. Soon after he did a three-sixty degree turn on the turret making sure it wasn't a ship that hit them. He saw little to nothing and spoke again, "Ok, I think we're clear if the droid wants to get out and start repairing what he can. Unless the Togorian sees something."

He continued to slouch back in his seat wiping his brow while keeping an idle view on the turret to make sure nothing snuck upon them.

It took Happy a good few minutes to actually assess the command he has been given. Getting out of the ship and climbing around it is one thing, but repairing it? The droid was absolutely not equipped for that kind of task. However, Yamizee's suggestion gave him an idea, as the Seeker drone began following him.

With that, Happy slung his Longblaster over his shoulder and moved to the blast door that the Duro had opened for him. The rushing wind grew louder as the opening widened, a deafening blow of constant air. The droid began its venture outwards, making sure its little colleague is nested securely on its back. Soon, it was moving along the hull of the freighter with its magnetic feet, making its way to the belly that had taken the brunt of the collision with another ship mere minutes ago.

The damage wasn't necessarily severe, but a minor hull breach can cause an unpleasant chain of events in the long run, so it had to be dealt with. Happy positioned itself over it, before reaching for its Longblaster and holding it at the ready.

"Covering. Initiate hull repair.", Happy spoke to the Seeker droid, which hopefully would listen to his commands.

The automaton then dialed back into the ship's communications, "Attention. Analysis indicates higher chance of escape when avoiding collisions."

Something about that felt awfully sarcastic...

Following the shoot-up between the Peacekeepers and the Rambler-Class Freighter, Sinder very quickly determined that his job was done. It was either laziness, confidence or just a complete and total blasé approach to the situation in which they found themselves. Adjusting the headset on his head, he spoke. “Other guy on guns, make sure if nothing else comes our way. Happy, patch up the holes. Lady, you stay with the Duros, he’s shifty. Meanwhile, I’m going to explore this ship and find a place to sleep. I haven’t closed my eyes in days.”. With that, he removed the headset and tossed it aside, causing the plastic and metal to collide with the dashboard and transparisteel in the gunner location, with a bonk and a clack.

Clambering out of the turret position, removing his feet from the stirrups and standing to his feet again, he noticed. This ship was big. Really big. He could stand full height in here without issue. That was something he could get used to. Trotting through the halls, his huge weight and gigantic footpads pounded through the corridors, loudly echoing through them as he looked for an empty quarters. After a short amount of time, a sliding door gave way to a place he seemed to be willing to sleep within, even given the situation they were in. With that, he stepped inside, tossed his weapons on the far side of the bed, as if to protect them, then flopped his massive frame onto the bed, leaving his head on the pillow with a growl.

“I’ll fly my way, it’s been doing me well so far, and it’ll do you well to stop criticising the pilot,” Jad Luk retorted towards Yamizee. He flew into a traffic lane, and slowed down, integrating with the flow relatively seamlessly, and flicking a switch on the console. He leaned back, taking his hands off the controls, resting them behind his head. He sighed out contemplatively. “Freeloaders and their thanklessness...”

“So,”
he swivelled on his seat, facing inwards, “should I ask what happened back there, or should we just ‘gentleman’s agreement’ it?“ he chuckled, eyeing the man and woman that remained in the cockpit. He pressed a hand to his earpiece. “Hey, droid. How much you worth, by the by?”

Yamizee had rested her feet up on the dashboard now that they were safe. Well, as safe as you can be with a shifty Duros and a motley crew of weirdos and misfits. She crossed her arms and let out a sigh of relief. She wouldn't be spending her time in the cells. Not today anyhow.

"I don't know their reasons, but the lot of us ended up in the back of a police speeder. Let's just say none of us were particularly thrilled about reaching our destination.", she spoke back to Jad with a swivel of her head, "And what about you? Why were you in such a rush?"

Cue to the outside of the ship, the Seeker droid had begun mending the hull with its mainy prongs and tools. It was prepared for exactly this sort of work and Happy would be happy to find out the droid didn't take very long in doing so.

Mateo gave one final scan on the turret then he hopped out of the seat taking off the communications headset beginning to head towards the cockpit. Upon arrival he began to speak, "I think we're clear, for now. Been sitting on that thing for a while and nadda." He looked around for an empty seat before taking one slouching down into it. "So, shall we share our names?" He'd look towards the Duros then to Yamizee, "Unless of course, you like being called blue-skin and pale-skin? And uh, I'm Mateo." he patiently waited for a response going back to slouching around in his seat.

The tiny droid had finally finished it's repairs and tried it's best to return to Happy, but the oncoming wind blew was too harsh. It almost got blown away, but to Yamizee's fortune, U9 just barely managed to snatch the Seeker before it got lost in the traffic. It cupped it tight against its chest, engaging its arm lock to make sure it stays in place as it slowly began moving back to the blast door. At this height, the air was thin and cold. Not that it bothered either of the droids really, but the absolute force of it was definitely noticable in its movement.

Eventually, the pair managed to reach the blast door, stepping inside and releasing the Seeker droid in the, more or less, safe interior of the freighter.

With the rush of the wind out of the way, the droid was finally able to respond over the intercom and promptly did so to the Duros;

"Estimated value at ZERO credits. M4-78 deemed U9-I3 worthless due to major programming error.... Mission successful. Requesting downtime for maintenance."
