Nerak's Pazaak Den - 11:25 pm on Thursday
No one remembered to what species Nerak the infathomable belonged to, but three centuries ago he had won so many sleazy no-rule pazaak tournaments that they renamed the Den in his honor. The Den had survived despite Nal Hutta's infamous and immense Calrissian Casino and had its own sort of clientel that neither wanted people to know that they gambled, like addicted husbands, or owed such a significant amount of credits to the casino that they'd be executed on the spot if they ever showed their face there again. Either way, it turned out to be the perfect meeting point for a daring and absolutely mental heist.

Davik Lorso occupied a private booth all by himself and one of his Gamorrean friends made sure that his solitude went uninterrupted until his ladies had arrived with their 'dates'. It was an innocent ruse to make sure prying eyes saw no interest to investigate, but at the same time would ensure that Davik's chosen accomplices would arrive. Davik had send both his slaves to "seduce" said accomplices and bring them to Davik, whose high rank within the cartel made it impossible to be seen plotting with prospects. Jana Tobik, his human and most dear slave, would bring Quin Prudence to him, while Lorna, the Chiss, would fetch him Kuro Claros.

Quinn leaned back in his plush seat, helmet laying beside him, and chuckled at his luck. He was sitting at one of the many gambling tables in this wretched facility, and had just played a perfect hand of sabacc cards. To the hatred of all the patrons around him Quinn scraped in the pile of credits to his side of the table, and took a sip of his drink. It was some kind of refined Corellian ale or something. He'd ordered it when he was more sober than he was now, and its name escaped him. A Twi'lek male who had gone all in on the last round angrily threw his cards against the table and stormed away, eliciting a more gleeful chuckle from Q. He had won the first few rounds wearing his helmet, before the patrons at his table had demanded he remove it to prevent the possibility of cheating. He had done so, and had still kicked their collective asses without it.

From the corner of his eye Q saw a human girl dressed in a seductive slave outfit saunter across the floor towards his table. A couple of the men whistled at her, which she ignored, and made a bee-line straight for Q. She straddled him, and slid into his lap. The Mandalorian, caught off guard, welcomed her into his arms, but she stopped him. "Take your winnings and come back to my private booth with me. It'll be fun."

Q weighed the request for a moment and opted to leave the card game. He'd already smoked the table quite enough, and the human girl seemed cute enough. He scooped up his chips to cash in, and his helmet and followed her. With the slave girl in the lead she took his hand and led him into a private corner booth, where she quickly turned and jogged away. Quinn was left standing infront of a table with Enforcer Davik Lorso, a man Quinn clearly recognized from the Cartel leadership, and an unknown Gamorean.

"That was cheap, even for you Lorso. Cheap."

Kuro stretched his arms, knocking into a waiter purposefully. His tray tipped and fell all over the roulette he was sitting in front of, and the dealer was soaked with some alcoholic beverage he didn't know the name of. Angry patrons stood up and howled at the waiter, who sheepishly walked away, tray behind his arm. As the server was striding away, a rather attractive woman walked toward the table. The gambler eyed her greedily, uncaring of their losses in credits, although she paid them no mind. As she neared Kuro, she positined herself toward his lap, but the masked man held up a hand. "No need for that. What do you want?" he asked. Too many times had an attractive woman sat on his lap and tried to assassinate him.

"Come to my booth," she answered, with an air of annoyance. The criminal shuffled a little, then scratched his head. Staying meant he could ruin the day for the gentlemen at the table some more, but following the woman could lead to him getting tangled up in something he needn't. Or maybe she just liked him in that way.

He stood up and followed her to the booth, where the notorious Davik Lorso sat, and some other man stood. "Hello?" he murmured, as the girl walked away.

Without wording a welcome, Davik gestured for both men to join him in his booth. The Gamorrean's looming threat of violence was no danger to either of them, but there was no reason for Davik to disclose that fact to two unknowns that could turn out to be impulsively dangerous. The green monster did take his distance from the trio as he made sure prying eyes could not glimpse inside the booth. After the initial moments of silence Davik offered both of them a smile and as if it was timed, both his slaves returned with three cups of Wrean coffee. "Did you add the pinch of Bantha milk?" Davik asked Jana, who nodded and put his cup down in front of him before she and Lorna left again.

A slow sip of coffee preceded his explanation of why he had summoned these two prospects and he was positively surprised to know both had plenty of patience to sit through their hosts purposively slow ritual. "Now, Gentlemen" Davik smiled as he put the cup down on the table "you might think you recognize me as a member of Lorda Petar Anjiliacs inner circle and you would be correct in that assumption." he smiled again "But, Davik" he mimicked Quin's voice "why are we meeting in this smelly and dark place if you could entertain us in the Hutt's palace on Hutta? Well-" he dropped Quin's voice and exchanged the smile for a more serious expression "that's because we're going to rob the giant slug of everything he owns" another sip of coffee "and then some."

Q sat down on one of the booths, resting his elbows on the table as he listened to Lorso. He took the Coffee from the slaves and slowly sipped it before nearly spewing some all over the table as he heard Lorso's last words.

"You're frakking mad. We're going to rob Petar Anjiliac?! Your boss?!"

Kuro listened to the proposition, and left the coffee on the table, since he didn't want to remove his mask.

"But, Davik, why are we meeting in this smelly and dark place if you could entertain us in the Hutt's palace on Hutta? Well that's because we're going to rob the giant slug of everything he owns and then some."

He was beginning to like this plan. Oh how he liked this plan. The amount of credits they could get off the slug would be enough for him to settle down in a nice mansion somewhere. Hell, he could probably buy a damn Star Destroyer if he wanted to. The criminal chuckled while Quinn lost his collective shit.

"Hell yeah, I'm in. What's the plan?"

He smirked under the mask.

Why did I choose these morons again? Davik thought after seeing one spat out expensive Wrean coffee like a child and the other just blindly accepting the job from behind a mask he didn't really seem eager take off and show some etiquette. It was a real miracle these guys were still alive...

He allowed Quin to come back to his senses as Davik took another sip of coffee but as he didn't want to waste too much time with these dimwitted prospects he decided he might as well explain the plan "I have the access codes of the Anjiliacs' palace on Hutta. You two will get a ship, go to said palace and take everything of value." Davik smiled sincerely "It's that simple" and he emptied his cup "afterwards you will meet me on Naboo where I'll have pristine fake identities to ensure you both can live the rest of your life in opulance and never worry about the Hutts finding you."

It would probably take them a minute to grasp that with Davik's access to the palace it was literally that simple to rob the Hutt Lorda of a couple of billion of credits. In the end if boiled down to a choice: live a life of opulance as self-declared nobility on some backwater planet and have three-dozen wives, or die within five years as the result of the Empire invading Hutt space. Davik wouldn't hesitate a second, but he was a lot smarter than these guys.

[OOC: Let's finish this sucker before the New Timeline.
All we need are two threads:
(1) - Kuro & Quin fly a freighter to Hutta, Davik leads them to the vault
(2) - Meet on Naboo]

"It's that simple. Yeah. Seems like a real frakking walk in the park. What will our cut be?" Quin said, asking questions that would definitely determine his involvement. He was a warrior, yes. But charging to a certain death was not part of his plan.

((OOC: Sorry for the nub post. I'ts really late here and I'm just getting a post in so the story can progress))

Kuro glanced at him. "And what will you do?" he asked, reluctant to be some high-up's grunt. He understood that this was the type of stuff people his rank were required to do, but being bossed around was something he still hadn't gotten used to. He took off the mask and grabbed the coffee. His thirst had gotten the better of him. Taking a sip, he looked around the booth.

Outside, the casino went on with its business.

Davik frowned, "As I'm the only crucial factor in this equation-" his eyes shot to Kuro "providing you with free access to the vault, the cut will be a very generous 60-20-20".

Noticing that these guys didn't understand that he could just as well hire them for a few thousand credits each and forge some Anjiliacs document as proof to them he could empty the vaults, Davik was a little surprised, annoyed even, that they didn't start kissing his feet after being promised millions for a simple smuggling job. "Let is sink in, get a freighter and come to the palace after Lorda Petar leaves for the appointment I made for him at his shipyard on Ryloth." Davik finished and left the booth, closely followed by his two slaves and the Gamorrean bodyguard.

[ooc: I'll get the second thread up tonight]
