How big is the Republic before and after the HYD?

Without an active map or grid system to work off of I have no clue how much territory certain factions have and currently control. And this sort of info is critical to backstories and ideas for pretty much everything from characters to planets to factions.

If you read the planet abstract, they have planets that reach out into the Expansion region. :)

Territory is a little more fluid this TL, in a lot of ways. It's not hard front lines defended by modern militaries or paramilitary groups, like previous timelines. There's a wide variety of levels of shifting influence vs actual occupation and presence of military or judicial forces, and a lot of grey areas in between.
