Its been a few weeks of traveling in deep space,a journey that the Rust Bucket was never foreign to.The ancient Halsion freighter flew slow and steady,as Hak made solid repairs to the hail, replaced the flown out thruster altho Fitch was not able to find a new hyperdrive module to repalce the old one.Unfortunatly there was only one place that could replace a component for such an old ship,so Hak begun his long journey back Home...to Corellia. As he slowly arrived, the massive orbital shipyard ring around the plant could be noticed, and Hak let out a sigh,

"...well...here we are again R5...home sweet home" and R5 let out a mutted blurb of droid speech "i know...i did not want to come back either...specially after dad...hnn.Anywway...its been two years...lets go dock"

Hak turned the ship to a slow decent towards the planet, and as they broke atmoshere the comm link flared up,

"Halsion frieghter RB-07,this is Coronet city flight control, please activate your transponder and confirm your entry codes."

Hak took a deep breath and activated his transponder and activated his mic, "Roger Flight Control,This captain Hak Te'Jaris of the Halsion class frieghter RB-07,my transponder is activated and my entry pass is 0945RG6,i am of the Te'Jaris Shipyards, over"

A few tense moments later the com link flared up again,"Roger that RB-07,your codes check out,you can now diactivate your transponder, welcome to Corellia Captain".With this Hak let out of relef and looked at R5 "Well its been a while but this still check out"

The Rust Bucket growned and rattled as they broke into atmosphere. They passed over Coronet city, the capital and headed toyards the more familiar routes, routes that young Hak took while he was exploring the outskirts of the city.A few minutes later Hak felt his chest tighten up as he arrived to his father shipyard,he was home. The Rust Bucket landing on the rustied landing pad and it felt like the ship took a breath and relaxed, like a horse after running for hours. The thrusters were overheated and it was almost out of fuel. The door of the loading bay opened and Hak departed, with R5 following behind. He looked around, his home looked untouched,it seemed like those thugs didnt rapaged through it as he envisioned, and that was a relef. As he walked around the yard inspecting it for any kind of damages or stolen equipment he reached a patch of dirt, where a steel pole was sticking out of and a tatered flag was lazily flowing by the calm breeze. He removed his helmet and his heart droped,as tears begun to well up on his eyes,"Te'jaris's sledgehammer".This old peace of cloth was the only thing that was left of the Te'Jaris's,his family's sigil, the outline of a planet and the shape of a very familiar ship.As he drew close on the base of this pole was a small sign.Hak droped on his knees and begun to cry,as this was the grave of his father.

"At least you found rest father...and you are with mom." he said as all the pain and sadness spilled out of him.

A few hours later,Hak left few wild flowers on the base of the sign and smilled softly, "i am home...i will make this right...i promise".

He turned and begun to tidy up the old and rusty ship yard, cause it was time to repair the Bucket. The old antena was activated by accident tho it seems as the power reignited the old shipyard. It was a local friquinency that anyone could tap in.But the important thing of this transmission was that, the message was ancient and it was a call for aid towards any freedom fighters were nearby. It seems that Hak grandfather still had some tricks up his sleeve. At the meantime Hak begun his slow repairs.

EPISODE 4
HOMECOMING

About to depart Corellia after conducting a successful diplomatic mission, Jedi Knight PERUN encounters HAK TE'JARIS in the midst of repairs to his spaceship. What adventures may ensue? Only time will tell.

.

As Perun made his way through the crowds, he could feel the heat of the twin suns of Corellia beating down through his overcoat, reminding him of the unforgiving nature of the planet's climate. The Jedi's clothing was simple and utilitarian, consisting of a fitted beige tunic and dark brown pants that allowed for ease of movement. The tunic was adorned with a minimalist Jedi emblem but otherwise lacked any ostentatious decoration that might draw attention. Perun's feet were bare as usual to allow him to feel the gritty texture of the pavement beneath, a testament to the harshness of the terrain.

The Ma'alkerrite's heightened senses allowed him to pick out the subtle details of the spaceport that might go unnoticed by others. He could hear the soft whine of hyperdrive engines being primed for launch and the gentle hum of repulsorlifts as cargo was transported to and from the waiting ships.

The sound of engines roaring and the hum of blaster fire filled the air, intermingling with the chatter of the diverse beings that populated the bustling hub. The unmistakable scent of burnt fuel and machinery wafted through the air, mixed with the fragrances of exotic spices and alien perfumes, creating a unique aroma that could only be found in such a diverse and vibrant environment. The Jedi could sense the Force flowing through the spaceport, permeating every inch of the bustling hub and providing a sense of peace and balance amidst the chaos.

The Ma'alkerrite could feel the weight of the eyes of the other beings in the spaceport upon him, sensing their curiosity and awe at the sight of a Jedi Knight walking amongst them. He could sense the hopes and fears of those around him, feeling the turmoil of the people as they went about their daily lives. The Jedi could feel the vibrations of the spaceport's activity, the constant hum of industry that surrounded him, and the unending pulse of life that flowed through the spaceport.

Passing by the maintenance hangars, Perun approached the man who was repairing his starship. The man was hard at work; his brow furrowed in concentration as he tinkered with the ship's antenna. The Jedi took a moment to observe him, noting the man's weathered hands and the smudge of grease on his cheek.

As he stepped forward, Perun made sure to approach the man with care so as not to startle him. They made eye contact and offered a friendly greeting, "Greetings, my friend. Might I be of any assistance?"

Hak has been hard at work repairing his relic of a ship.He was rearranging the whole navigation and communication grid, tinkering and soldering pieces on the antena. He was an engieneer of the more unorthodox methods of repairing things. He was no longer wearing his armor, omy wearing his overalls, overused and battle scared, from burnes and patchwork repairs, the briliant blue and gold of the outfit blackened from the grease and dirt, but on his back the sigil of his family,"Te'Jaris's sledgehammer". R5 was doing some repairs on the inside of the ship as he humed in droid speech.Suddently Hak perked up as he heard the voice of someone calling out form assistance. He was purched up on top of the ship, but he put aside his tools and stood up.

"Well greetings my friend!! Welcome to the great ship yard of Hak TeJaris" he chuckled spreading his hands from side to side showing the rusty and to be honest kindsa delapitated hanger. But at the center stood a mighty and ancient ship,"Rust Bucket".Hak begun to climb down from the ship and he began to make his wau towards this visitor. He was looking down dusting off, removing his dirty and stuffing them in a backpocket. As he approched the figure,a Ma'alkerrite,he raised one of his eyebrows. But the thing that intriged him was that he was wearing the familiar attire of a Jedi, similar to that Jedi he met during his rescue mission.

"Well we dont get a lot of visitors around these parts, but help is always welcome.I am Hak Te'Jaris the owner and captain of the Rust Bucket, that beauty over there." as he gestured towards the old freighter."What brings you here Master Jedi?" as he crosed his hands and smilled warmly.

Perun couldn't help but smile at the warm welcome from Hak Te'Jaris, the owner and captain of the Rust Bucket. Despite the rough exterior of the man and his ship, the Jedi could sense a kind heart and a sharp mind behind the grime and grease.

The Ma'alkerrite cleared his throat, "It's a pleasure to meet you, Hak Te'Jaris. Please call me Perun. I was sent as a diplomatic envoy to Corellia to resolve a matter of interest to the Jedi Council." The Jedi Knight remained vague, yet assertive and hoped his new companion would not pry any further.

Perun could sense Hak's curiosity and admiration for his attire. The Jedi knew that his clothing was a symbol of his dedication to the Force and his commitment to the Jedi Order, but he also knew that it could draw unwanted attention from those who might see him as a target. He kept his gaze steady on Hak, maintaining a sense of calm and clarity that came with his training in the Force.

"What misadventures could have befallen the Rust Bucket for such a fine vessel such repairs?" the Jedi Knight inquired. The Ma'alkerrite couldn't help but admire the ingenuity and resourcefulness of Hak as he observed the makeshift repairs on the Rust Bucket. Despite the obvious wear and tear of the ship, Perun could discern the pride and affection that Hak had for the Rust Bucket. The Jedi knew that such a bond between a captain and his ship was rare and precious, a testament to the resilience and determination of those who made their living among the stars.

"I happen to have a certain expertise in spacecraft engineering and I will gladly provide any assistance with anything you might need." As he observed the rusty hanger and the old freighter, Perun felt a sense of nostalgia for the simpler times of his childhood when he had spent countless hours tinkering with his own starship.

Hak smiled and relaxed his posture a bit more, and looked back at the "Rust Bucket",and then returned his gaze back to the Jedi.

"Well happy to meet you Master Je- i am mean Perun, haha" he wiped the sweat of his brow,as he felt a bit embarashed."It is a very fine vessel indeed, and very old.Its been in the family for a while. An uncle of mine always said that this old girl even fought during the Galactic Civil war,but this would this a true relic of a bygone age,but i try to laugh it off."

His mind trailed off for a moment, remebering the stories of his grandfather and his time during the war with the First Order, bnut he snaped back to the coversation.

"Anyhow...*ahem*...misadventures?Well i did angered some...not very...nice people during one of my adventured in the outer rim.I was nearly got blown to smitherins but my buddy,R5 made an escape jump to hyperspace...thaaaaat didnt end so well."

He gestured towards the blackened thruster that was repaired haphazardly and was bearly holding together.

"i got shot and they destroyed one of the main thrusters, aaaaand then sheilds failed, and a lucky shot managed to take out my hyperdrive and a chain reaction almost fried my navigation module.Anyway i was stranded in the outer rim for a bit...till a Jedi and New Republic vessel intercept my calls for aid and i was back on my feet."

Hak took a breath and scratched the back of his head and let out a tired sigh.

"The thing is that the old girl needs a lot of repairs...and i might stay grounded for a while.New thrusters, navigation and most importanly Hyperdrive...i know the local scrapers can help out with some parts for sure....but i am happy that you are leding me a hand."

Hal turned and walked towards a tool box, reorganizing some tools and searching for some other replacment parts, but with out turning he asked Perun with a more serious tone.

"Deplomatic envoy ah?Ive been caught up with my own troubles that i havent got the chance to look around me.I aint gonna pry on your mission here, mainly cause its not my business, specially the Jedi ones.I might catch up news from the capital...."

As he was trailing of,R5 rolled out of the Rust Bucket and blurding out frustrated bits of droid speach.

"I know buddy...i will replace the old wirring...we dont want to catch a fire like last time...bloody womp rat almost eat out all main wires."

R5 rattled and rolled deeper in the hanger, his droid speech echoing around the room.

Perun smiled warmly at Hak's introduction, recognizing the man's attempt to be friendly despite his obvious embarrassment. As the pilot recounted the tale of his recent debacles, Perun listened attentively, his expression growing more serious as he heard of the dangers that the man had faced. "It sounds like you've been through quite a lot," he remarked sympathetically. "But I'm glad to hear that you made it through in the end."

At Hak's mention of the need for repairs to his ship, Perun nodded thoughtfully. "I understand. Maintaining a vessel can be a costly and time-consuming task." He looked around the hangar, taking in the other ships that were parked nearby. "But you're not alone in your struggles. Many pilots face similar challenges, especially those who venture into the more dangerous corners of the galaxy."

As R5 rolled out of the ship, Perun couldn't help but smile at the droid's frustrated chatter. "I see you have quite the partner," he observed, gesturing towards the astromech. "Droids can be invaluable companions in times of need, as I'm sure you've discovered."

"If your friend here doesn’t mind, I'll have a look at your navigation system." Using his Force-enhanced senses, Perun attuned his mind to the subtle energies flowing through the Force and focused on the Iron Bucket's navigational computer. He would be able to detect even the slightest damage or malfunction, pinpointing the exact location and extent of each problem, and sense the flow of power through the ship's systems, the vibrations of its engines, and the subtle hum of its circuits.

As he examined the computer's exterior, Perun noted the scorch marks and dents that indicated the extent of the damage. Using a specialized tool kit that he found in the hangar, Perun carefully removed the damaged components and began to replace them with new parts. As he worked, he used the Force to guide his hands, working with a precision and focus that allowed him to make quick progress despite the complexity of the task.

With the damaged components removed, Perun turned his attention to the computer's circuitry, scanning it carefully with his senses to identify any further damage. He could sense the faint hum of the power running through the system, and he used his knowledge of the Force to assess the state of each component, searching for any weak points or signs of malfunction.

Once he had identified the damaged areas, Perun used a small soldering tool to repair the circuits, carefully applying just the right amount of heat to each component to ensure that they were properly connected. He double-checked each connection with his senses, testing the flow of power to make sure that everything was working as it should be.

"Hahahaha indeed!! He is definatly a loud mouthed droid but we been through thick and thin and i wouldnt have it any other way"

Hak chuckled and put back his thick leather gloves preparing to go back to work.He noticed Perun beginning to concentrate on the Rust Bucket, and was amazed how fast he managed to repair the damage on the navigation, and how he moved around the hanger, like it was second nature.Hak chuckled and wore his face mask going deep into work mode.Bits and bolds were flying around, haul pieces were rearranged and weldied together. Hak was not as delicate and carefull as Perun,as he was working like surgeon, when Hak was more agressive.Hammering pieces of metal into shape with a sledge hammer and some times his foot.At some point he was dangling upsinde down on the side of ship in order to replace burned out wires and defusors that were completly backed off.R5 was working the reprogramming of many aspects of the ship.New nav maps, the lighting, even some of the hydrolics. The three of them were working like clockwork. At some point later in the day a scrapper arrived with a massive cargo haller.

"OI HAK...I BROUGHT YOUR PARTS!!!"

Hak poked his head from the top of the ship as he was repairing the targeting systems of the upper turret and smilled.

"DAX?! HOLY HELL BUDDY YOU ARE FAST"

The scrapper begun to lower the cargos to the base of the hanger. It seems that those were the new thrusters and Hyper drive.

"This was the best i could find.!!!"

The pair sook hands and begun examining the old thrusters.Hak signal towards Perun to join them in the examination.

"So...we will detach the old ones anf begin attaching the new ones.I think R5 already run a diagnostics on the power suplies and cut power so we can work without being shoked by the volts."

All three nodded and began detaching the old thrusters. With the help of the hanger crane they slowly replaced the old burned out thrusters with the new ones, well new ones in the sence that those were not two centuries old. After that Hak bid farewell to Dak and grabbed the last crate that was containing the Hyper drive module.

"Perun follow me inside,i will need your steady hands with this one.R5 go to the cockpit and ran new calibrations for the hyperdrive."

The pair walked inside the ship and Hak smilled.

"Well master Jedi...welcome to my home. Its not much but hey."

The inside of the freighter was decorated with posters and art work from different styles and colours. The walls of the hauls were a bit rusty but every dent and scratch told a story. There were a few blaster marks, making the impression that this vessel has seen war.On the lounge marking and drawings can be seen, maybe from people that flew with Hal.On the one of the walls was an old and warned out symbol,a symbol that might confirm the stories that Hak's uncles was talking about. The sigil of the rebel allience.Hak paid no mind as he quickly walked towards the engine room where the Hyper drive module was locaded.

"Alright help me remove the old one se we can fix this old girl for good."Hak smiled softly, excited with how productive the day was."

Perun was impressed with the way that Hak and R5 were working together, each bringing their own unique skills and knowledge to the task at hand. He admired the way that Hak attacked the repairs with a fierce determination, hammering and welding components together with a kind of brute force that was quite different from Perun's more delicate touch.

Despite their different approaches, Perun could see that Hak's methods were effective, and he appreciated the way that the man worked quickly and efficiently to get the job done. As he watched Hak dangling upside down from the ship, replacing burnt out wires and defusers, Perun couldn't help but be impressed by the man's courage and tenacity.

When the scrapper arrived with the new parts, Perun watched as Hak greeted the man warmly and examined the thrusters. He could see the excitement in Hak's eyes as he prepared to install the new components, and he admired the way that the man worked closely with R5 and Perun to ensure that the installation went smoothly.

As they worked together to install the new thrusters and hyperdrive module, Perun marveled at the way that the ship was coming back to life. He could feel the hum of the engines as they powered up, and he could see the gleam of excitement in Hak's eyes as he gazed at the newly repaired vessel.

As they walked through the ship's interior, Perun took in the posters and artwork that adorned the walls, marveling at the stories that they must have contained. He felt a sense of nostalgia as he saw the worn and faded symbol of the Rebel Alliance, remembering the struggles and sacrifices of those who had fought to bring peace to the galaxy.

Working alongside Hak to replace the hyperdrive module, Perun felt a sense of pride in the work that they were doing. "We make quite the team it seems," the Jedi said proudly. He knew that this ship would soon be back in the stars, flying once again under the command of a skilled and determined pilot. And he knew that he had played a small but important role in making it happen. "Do you know where you might be headed next?"

"aaaaaand done" Hak toughten the last bolt and moved away from the module as he signaled to R5 "Light it up buddy!!"
R5 finished the last calibration and the ship came back to life, and this time it was in better shape that ever was.The hyperdrive module light up with a faint blue glow as electicity sparked it back to life.

"HHAHAAAA YES!!!" Hak let out a loud cheer and clapped his hands. He turned to the Jedi and with a smile,"We definatly do my friend.Your help was the thing i was missing. He walked back to the lounge and sat on the coutch that on the edge of it,near the door that headed towards the cockpit. As he let out a sigh of relief he looked at Perun,

"Well...i do have some business in the middle and outer rim.I help here and there.Doing supply runs to cut off colonies that need help.Maybe even visit the Bounty Hunter HQ for some work...i dont know."

Hak's gaze slowly turned towards the faded allience sigil and his look of happyness turned to one of melancholy.

"My father always told me that i will make my mark on the galaxy one day.He told me that we must help people indeed,to make an effort for a better future, big or small." His eyes begane to well up and he smilled softly. "Te'Jaris never run from people in need...that is what he told me.Well at least i have new thrusters now and i can fight better hehe".He let out a soft chuckle."Maybe i will stay for a few more days here and after that i am going back out there." He stands up and looks around the room, colours, relics and decorations from every part of this galaxy and looks at Perun again.

"Hak Te'Jaris...engieneer,pilot,adventurer,bounty hunter...thats what i am." He smiled and reached out for a handshake.

The Jedi watched as the ship came back to life, its engines purring with renewed power and vitality. As Hak cheered and clapped his hands in delight, Perun smiled, glad to have been able to help the man in his quest to get back out into the galaxy.

As they talked, the Ma'alkerrite ape-man listened with interest as Hak described his various adventures and exploits, his eyes lighting up with excitement as he talked about his travels to the Outer Rim Territories and his work as a bounty hunter. He could sense the man's love of adventure and his desire to make a difference in the galaxy, and he admired the way that he had dedicated his life to helping others.

When Hak spoke of his father's words of wisdom, Perun felt a sense of resonance. He, too, had been raised with a deep respect for the importance of helping others, and he knew it was a calling he and Hak shared. "This ship is more than just a vessel for you, isn't it?" he said softly. "It symbolizes your father's legacy and a testament to the values he instilled in you, doesn't it?"

As Hak's gaze turned toward the faded symbol of the Rebel Alliance, Perun could sense the man's sadness and longing. He could feel the weight of Hak's past experiences, the battles and struggles that he had faced. But despite the hardships, Perun could see that Hak remained determined and resolute, driven by a deep-seated desire to make a positive impact on the world around him. And he knew that with his skills and determination, Hak would continue to make his mark on the galaxy, whatever challenges lay ahead.

As Hak introduced himself as an engineer, pilot, adventurer, and bounty hunter, Perun smiled and shook his hand warmly. "I believe that you will make your mark on the galaxy, my friend," he proclaimed. "And may the Force be with you, always." He knew that he had made a new friend in this courageous and dedicated man, and he looked forward to seeing what adventures lay ahead for them both in the vast and unpredictable expanse of the galaxy.

"It is...it really is.It is my home away from home...and the last piece of my legacy. But thank you,i will never forget you or the help you gave me this day...my friend."As Hak smilled softly towards Perun. After a few moments both of the exited the Rust Bucket as R5 was making preparation of departure.Hak turned to Perun and they exanged one final handshake.

"Well Master Jedi...its been an honor meeting, take this...the communication link to the Rust Bucket. You helped me so i have to repay the favour. If you ever need the help of this old lady, just send me a message."

As they finished conversing,R5 made some remarks in droid speetch and headed inside the ship.

"Well then...thats my mark. Its been a pleasure Perun...may the force be with you.."

As Hak turned and entered the ship.R5 rolled in the cockpit,as Hak followed with a few strides. He sat on thr captain's sheet and begun preparartion for lift off.The new thrusters roared as they were more powerfull and the Rust Bucket begun its slow ascent.Hak activated his transponder and signaled the Flight control.

"Corellian Flight Control this is Halsion Freighter RB-07,departing for space, over."

"Roger that RB-07,you are clear for lift off.Safe travels."

Hak accelarated and the Rust Bucket broke atmosphere into the void.

"Alright bud....where do you want to go?" he said with a smile towards R5.The astromech blured out some droid speach and spin around."Alright then...punch those numbers R5".

"3...2...1...JUMP!!!"
and like that the Rust Bucket jumped into hyperspace, and Hak onwards to his new adventure.
