Remaining off the charts, Anoth continued to remain hidden since the early days of the New Republic. Traces of the system's existence was safely destroyed in the destruction of the Jedi Archive Mainframe during the Battle of Coruscant. Once used as a fortress and private retreat for the legendary Solo family, Anoth remained relatively untouched and unmentioned until the beginning of the Third Galactic Civil War.

The planet itself was once hospitable until a cataclysm shattered the world into three large pieces now held together by the core’s gravitation pull. The two inhospitable fragments created a natural static discharge that rolled across the landscape, masking it from sensors through its electrical current. Residing on the third planetary fragment, which maintained a life supporting atmosphere, the exiled Jedi begun subtly pulling resources to reestablish a temple on the broken world in 1016 ABY.

To accommodate for the Jedi still residing on the Light of the Force, the once abandoned Anoth Base was expanded and remolded. Sparring and borrowing from whom and what they could, the Jedi refitted the Anoth Base with living quarters for short term and long term stays at the temple; training rooms for group and individual sessions, a partial archives to research and rebuild, and meditation chambers that offer enough quiet and solitude for Jedi to reflect in peace.

In addition, the Anoth Temple has a designated High Council Chamber first used by the Master’s council in 1017 ABY, used for members of the Jedi Council to confer in private. The temple also offers a hanger bay for a few small freighters and personal ships and starfighters. Due to the planet’s barren wasteland, the temple also contains an environment controlled garden offering a variety of fauna from several worlds in order for Jedi exiles to enjoy a more natural setting.

Accompany the Anoth Temple is the Light of the Force’s Convoy, Operation Tailwind, which patrols the system’s sector for any authorized and/or suspicious craft that enter the sector. The convoy consists of the Doaba as well as two dozen former Alliance Rogue-Class fighters on rotating patrols. Jedi and trusted associates will adhere to the security measures when entering and approaching the Jedi Temples, defiance to security protocol will be met with appropriate discipline, and if needed, force.
