Welcome to the launch of our site-wide Halloween event Hidden Spirits!
How will this event work?
This event will take place over the course of two threads, taking place in some of the coldest, darkest and most hostile locations known to the Star Wars Galaxy.
These threads will be starting Monday 10th of October.
Is this Event dangerous?
These threads will be DEATH ENABLED by default - how dangerous this will be remains to be seen...
Who can join the threads?
This event is open to characters of any faction - The two threads will run at the same time in different areas of space however, meaning that players can join either thread, but the same character cannot be in both at the same time.
What is the posting cadence for this?
The DMs will be posting ONCE every 48 hours. Please try to get in your post anytime within that window.
Are these threads the ONLY Halloween Event?
No.
These two threads will be the only Staff-DM run events, but players are welcome to run their own mini-event style threads either of their own backs or from prompts created by other players.
Good examples include, THIS series of prompts made by @Nevermourn and THIS series of prompts made by @lizziie.
Notes:
Anyone can make Halloween prompts or make Halloween-style threads without them if they so wish, with usual Death-Disabled rules in place.
- Zombies vs Bugs - Fighting against Killiks continues in some suburbs of Corellia and the Corellian government has announced that the fighting is approaching a downed Morata-Corp shuttle which was carrying AMS test subjects. Calls for volunteers to enter into the evacuated suburbs and destroy the AMS infected before they encounter the Killiks have been made - no one knows what will happen if the Killiks become Infected and no one wants to find out.
- Ghosts in the Trees - The trees of Kashyyyk burned down to husks of their former selves in the last attack on the planet but there is talk of vengeful forest spirits crawling forth to cause havok amongst the locals and inter-galactic business concerns on the planet alike.
- It Follows - A merchant ship calls for help; a Ghost Ship is following them. Through Real Space and Hyperspace, a Lucrehulk-Class Battleship, follows the merchant ship just beyond weapons range, bombarding all com-channels with a constant stream of static and binary that cannot be translated.
