Welcome my friend! I take it you guys have rp'ed elsewhere before? I was formerly a part of the swtor.com community before the game launched and wiped all of the rp logs. :'(

My best advice to get started would be to make sure to familiarize yourselves with the rules. This site is very well moderated! (Shameless flattery to @Padmé and the rest of the admin team)

Also, one thing about this site is it is very faction-driven, with the Jedi, Republic, Sith, and a plethora of Indie factions. There are plenty of unaligned characters on here, particularly independant characters, but factions are a great way to get involved and make connections with other rpers that enjoy playing similar types of characters.

Like was said earlier, most of us use skype, and there are a lot of faction specific skype chats. Feel free to pm me if you wanna keep in touch. :)
