Hannibal's Light Armor

A collection of comfortable, flexible clothing suited for a variety of atmospheres, light armor, and a concealing helmet, this set of armor is meant for use when Hannibal is working more as a "Professional" than just a Jedi. A mix of his usual fashions and a bit of Jedi tunic, it conceals his face and provides ease of movement without too obviously announcing his loyalties. In colder weather it retains heat well, while wicking away moisture in the heat, to a reasonable degree. The leather outer coat is treated to resist corrosion and moisture. Interwoven in the bottom layers is an armorweave underlay, which has been used to allow for dramatic glass-shattering entrances more often than defending from common knives or shrapnel. The torso is guarded by a custom-tailored blast vest with molded composite duraplast plating, and a wide utility belts is used to hold a variety of generic Jedi goodies.

LEGALITY

Legal to own, save for the Spike, which is illegal on some planets.

INTENT

Boyo needs armor.

Type: Light

Coverage: (Coverage regions for Light armor is 1-3 regions, Medium is 4-5, Heavy is 6-7)

Functions

Function 1: Armourweave Accessory (Bodysuit)
  • Most often in the form of a heavy cape, skirt, or underlay beneath armor, armor weave provides some protection against the penetrating effects of shrapnel from explosives and other unpowered high velocity impacts, with only a small amount of bleed through damage (bruising or very minor wounds). It offers no protection against kinetic impact or energy, vibroweapons, or similar "powered" weapons. Having more than one accessory (example: Cape + underweave) provides no additional effect.
  • Force User Compatible?: Yes

Function 2: Vision Modes (Helmet)
  • This Allows a Helmet HUD to cycle to low-light OR thermal vision modes.
  • Force User Compatible?: Yes

Function 3: Voice Scrambler (Helmet)
  • For the unusually paranoid, this helmet function can scramble a person's voice to unintelligible garbage, while allowing commlink conversations to continue as normal. Alternatively, it can be used to "digitize" a voice into a deep bass tone.
  • Force User Compatible?: Yes
Function 4: Filter(Helmet)
  • Filters are bulky attachments to a helmet, or function as part of a mask, that filter out environmental contaminants such as smoke or most toxins. They are susceptible to caustic substances and damage.
  • Force User Compatible?: Yes
Function 5: Scout HUD
  • Scout HUD - Contains a 4x magnifier and Compass.
  • Force User Compatible?: Yes
