Open to two opposition defenders.
Aadya hadn't spoken to Altair since they had parted ways several weeks ago. Not for lack of wanting to, mind, just.. well, just for many reasons she tried not to dwell on. She was confident that he would reach out when he was ready to face what was hidden to him but plain to see to her. Until then, Aadya had been content to simply wait.

That was, of course, until the duties of the Empire interceded. The rhythmic beats of the drums of war sounded out and Aadya heeded their call. There were innumerous people that she could have brought along on this endeavor, but in Aadya's mind there was only one person she trusted enough to accompany her. Altair would have received the summons in one manner or another and it would have been clear he didn't have much freedom when it came to his answer.

The Sith fleet exited hyperspace near Ossus without pomp or pretense. Several Star Destroyers and their contingent ships - borrowed from Darth Raze - engaged the Kowakian Devils in open space as shuttles and others breached atmosphere and headed for Knossa.

Among those ships and shuttles was Aadya and Altair's, flown and filled with Sith troopers. They landed just outside the city and within moments, soldier upon soldier poured out like floodwater, engaging with the Deucalian defenders that feebly attempted to repel them.

Aadya would step from the shuttle just without a word, as silent as she'd been since the fleet had departed Sith space. As oblivious as Altair tended to be, even he would have been able to see the harsh change in demeanor Aadya showed in comparison to the person he had come to intimately know. Her aura was sheer and cold, glinting harshly like light shining off a sharpened knife's edge.

Even hidden beneath the mask that covered the lower half of her face, Aadya's expression was hard, focused; her jaw clenched so tightly in anticipation she could feel it in her teeth. Aadya's gaze darted to Altair and hung there for a mere moment, her eyes softening just so before her mind forced her back on task.

Find the Jedi, ignore the rest. She said to Altair, her voice modular and hollow due to her mask. When they fall, so does Ossus.

Altair didn’t immediately realize the summons had come from Aadya. It had only been a few weeks since Agamar, but his contributions towards winning a planet made him a target for these missions. He had little time to reflect on things, grabbing some standard armor and his two types of gauntlets - the matukai one on his right hand, the Queen’s gauntlet on the other. He also had two knives and his collapsible wan-shen, though he doubted they would see any use. He was shocked when he realized Aadya was driving this. It meant she had specifically requested for him - the briefing wasn’t random.

He had lost count of how many times he opened up his comms to send her a message or some funny meme, only to put it away. If she ever looked, she would have seen the typing blurb pop up on multiple occasions only to go nowhere. Altair was terrible about this topic, and she was on his mind far more often than he would ever admit. Following the Agamar incident and him killing a Jedi for the first time, he wanted nothing more than to find Aadya and collapse against her. But he was tired of her only seeing him as that needy little boy.

The tiefling wore a modified helmet that exposed his horns, but it was easy to tell it wasn’t entirely custom made for him. Altair could sense the changes in Aadya, and it was similar to when they first completed a mission together. He strode out with her, spotting the commotion ahead of them. She would notice he carried himself differently this time, with far more confidence and self-assuredness on the battlefield.

Altair glanced back towards Aadya when she addressed him, noting the cool and firm tone. He nodded before looking ahead of himself, “Yes, m’am,” He stated flatly, his voice also modulated. The tiefling moved forth to act on the orders. At the last second, his tail came up lightning fast, the flat side of the tip smacking right against Aadya’s ass hard enough to leave redness. It was done entirely out of line of sight of anyone around them, far too subtle to pick up. Altair bolted ahead without seeing her reaction, using the Force to send out a push to knock aside a group of opposing Duecalians to clear his path to Jedi.

Ossus remained unsafe. Despite repelling the last Sith assault, the planet was in the midst of recovery when the Sith came again. The combined fleets of Kowakian Devils and Jedi Order engaged the suddenly appearing Sith armada. This time, the Sith came not for the Temple nestled in the Ossus mountains but the city. Of course, there were Jedi in the city. Caris felt the prickle race up his spine before the first Sith shuttle broke atmosphere. The coms rang out warning soon after. Alex was not here to bail them out this time. He slapped his mask on his face and took off running.

In short order, Caris was near the city gates. He could see the landing craft hurtling towards the city. The fighting would be thickest as the Sith tried to enter the capital. That was where they would be needed. The land outside the capital was perilously flat. Good sightlines but few places to hide. Caris pulled his saber from his belt. He had no choice. Ithor had ended prematurely. He’d seen no sign of the Sith Lord since. Maybe he died. Caris ducked into a doorway leading into the city wall. He found himself outside the main gate behind makeshift barriers quickly erected. The Sith army marched towards them. He ignited his lightsaber. May the Force be with them.

If anyone else in the universe had been stupid enough to do what Altair just done Aadya would have ran them down and forced her fist through their chest to yank out their still beating heart. If had been literally anyone else. Instead, an amused if not sultry smirk creased her lips as Aadya made a mental note to pay Altair back with interest the next time they were alone.

With swift strides assisted by the force, Aadya wouldn't take long to catch up with Altair. The looming form of the city gates approached quickly, though Aadya's eye was almost instantly drawn away from them and towards something much, much more interesting.

Amid the armored troops and defending Deucalians, a lit lightsaber was pretty easy to spot. Especially this one, its yellow blade a stark contrast to the red and blues of blaster fire that volleyed between the opposing forces.

There, Aadya said to Altair, pointing towards Caris. Go. It may have seemed harshly concise, but that is how Aadya's brain worked when the adrenaline of battle coursed through her veins. We take him together.

Aadya's lightsaber would snap to her hand but she wouldn't ignite her blade quite yet. Rushing forward, Aadya would reach out with the force to yank Caris towards her as she closed the gap.

Hoping to knock the Jedi at least a little off balance with the sudden attack, Aadya would ignite her saber and swing as she entered into melee range, looking to slash Caris starting at the right shoulder to left hip.

Altair spotted the target at once, and he nodded in response to Aadya. As she yanked him towards herself, Altait swiftly moved to flank him. The Force pulsed through him as he put himself at the man’s right flank. He coiled the Force around the man’s neck, compressing down and adding to the hold Aadya had on him already. He timed his attack as Aadya would begin her swing towards the man’s left, his right fist whirling in to slam into the man’s right temple. Both holds on the man at the same time would limit his mobility and ability to swiftly adapt to incoming attacks.

The tiefling would withdraw his punch as soon as it landed instead of keeping the arm overextended. He was also alert for any others that would begin an approach towards them.

"Ossus? For real?" Idej couldn't imagine why in the world the Sith would come here, apart from the world being under Jedi influence. Ossus was a bit of a wasteland, though he would never say that to any of those who lived here. Even in jest, insulting one's homeworld was always in bad taste.

Thankfully, he wasn't the only one stationed on the planet. Caris was here, in addition to a handful of others rushing to the defense. As the Annfyn man ran toward the city gates, he could already see the other Jedi in mention engaged with a Sith. He made his way there quickly, intending to aid his fellow Knight in the fight.

The elven man carried his saber with him and wore his armor across his upper body. With a snap and a hiss, his yellow blade sprang to life, gripped tightly in his calloused hand. His eyes locked onto two and would narrow when a second Sith appeared and struck at the man. It would be a moment before Idej could get there to help, but in the meantime, he would pull the Force around him in preparation.

The battle raged closer and closer to the city. He did not engage the ordinary Sith troops, instead waiting behind the barriers. Caris was best used against the Darksiders. He kept his eyes on the battlefield as those Darksiders approached. He was dangerously alone with no other Jedi in sight. He was a confident man but not stupid. Caris knew the odds of holding off both Sith were not in his favor. Close quarters would serve him even more poorly. He needed space or risk behind jammed in a corner.

He started to back up when then Sith rushed forward. He needed room. He was half covered behind the barrier but still felt the Force begin to take hold. In a pinch, crude was best, and the Force burst from his left hand to send the durasteel barrier tumbling towards both Sith. The Force carried out with it seeking to drive them back. It would serve to breach concentration on both so that the Force did not hold Caris in place or around the neck. Still, he stumbled backward, off balance from resisting the attacks. It was enough distance to avoid their advance but not particularly how he wished to begin. His heart hardened as he prepared for what was to come.

Citing rule 5 from the pvp rules about mentioning all attacks with a defense. In Caris' defense you only mention breaking concentration(s) on the force attacks, but don't mention Aadya's saber swing at all. As far as I'm aware, this constitutes an auto hit so I will be writing my post as such.

The barrier Caris had launched was circumnavigated with a simple up-and-over-jump, Aadya barely having to even break her stride. She closed the gap on him with little resistance, the Jedi appearing to put far much stock in his ability to dissuade her attack with tumbling durasteel and a little bit of the force.

Her saber came down precisely where she'd aimed, starting at Caris' right shoulder and slicing all the way down to his left hip. The wound wouldn't be instantaneously fatal but it would be severely debilitating. Aadya's saber cut into Caris' flesh a few inches deep from point of contact all the way until it reached the end of its arc, leaving behind a smoldering and smoking swath of devastation along the Jedi's entire torso.

Feeling the presence of another Jedi, though not quite sure where in the midst of all the chaos of battle, Aadya would leave Altair to handle... whatever was left of Caris. Her defenses up and her focus razor sharp, Aadya let the force swirl around her as she left Caris and Altair behind to begin searching for the next idiot who dared stand in her way.

Same deal. Altair's punch was not mentioned or called out in Caris defense.

While Altair had done a Force choke, his follow up punch wasn’t entirely dependent on it. The tiefling dropped the Force attack and leapt to the side to avoid the barrier, coming in on Caris’ side as he whirled in with the punch. The hit would be solid, and against the temple it would be enough to knock the man out. Combined with the landed saber attack, there was no possible way for the man to remain standing.

Altair glanced over to spot the other Jedi on the field and began to make his way over. Similar to before, he started by coiling the Force around the man’s neck to choke.

Idej stopped suddenly in his tracks, some twenty meters from the two, and watched wide-eyed as Caris got completely bodied by the two Sith. They descended on him like wolves to a fresh kill, then turned their eyes to him.

"Ah, fuck." He would have to come back for Caris because there was no way Idej was going against the two of them after witnessing that. He'd be of no use to anyone, Caris or the people of Ossus, if he were to end up unconscious on the ground.

He'd pulled the Force around him in advance, so when he felt the tightening around his neck from the tiefling, Idej used that to fend off the Force attack. As he did that, he began to back up, and if he was sure he was good to book it, Idej hauled ass back away from the city gates. He'd be more useful evacuating citizens right now than speedrunning death.

Altair felt the second Jedi resist his Force choke. He also saw the vivid fear in the man’s eyes as he backed away. The tiefling slowed down his approach, watching as he backpedaled away from combat. The sight was bizarre, but Altair didn’t give chase. It was clear the defenders were retreating, the Imperial forces gaining rapid traction. By dropping the other Jedi, the two Sith had effectively neutralized any potential threat. He watched in silence as the second Jedi disappeared beyond the gate and out of sight, assuring them a win and the planet falling into Sith hands. It was a decisive victory and it would deal a massive blow to the Jedi directly.

The soldiers were storming towards the temple, the remaining defenses having to focus all efforts on evacuating any survivors. Altair stood there for a moment before glancing around them. There was a Jedi lying on the ground near death and chaos erupted a fair distance away. Altair turned towards Aadya. Without a word, he walked towards her, tossing off his helmet and letting it land with a thud on the ground. There was glint in his violet hues, the softest shades of yellow just barely visible. He closed the distance between them as he reached down to easily hook his arms beneath her thighs to lift her up. Altair stepped forth and pinned her against the city wall, pressing himself against her and placing her legs around his hips.

He didn’t care that there was a half dead Jedi lying just a few feet away or an entire battle going on in the distance. Desire burned clear in his eyes and he was very far from shy and nervous boy Aadya saw frequently right then.

The battle for Ossus had provided Aadya little in the ways of satisfaction. While the victory was decisive for the Sith and a heavy blow for the Jedi, she simply felt incomplete. She and Altair had dispatched this Jedi so easily and with such little effort it made her wonder just what in the fuck they were teaching at the Jedi Temples.

Her gaze followed Altair's as he watched the second Jedi turn tail and simply flee. Aadya didn't blame him, his compatriot had came and went faster than a virgin on prom night.

Before she could say anything, Aadya felt herself being suddenly lifted in the air, Altair's strong hands gripping her beneath the thighs and raising her up and against the walls of Knossa. Her own hands came up to rip off her mask as she stared into Altair's eyes, noticing the sofest hues of yellow in the otherwise pure lakes of violet. He too would notice the thin lines of gold snaking in Aadya's dark mahogany eyes, something he would have never seen before in her.

Arms draped over Altair's broad shoulders, Aadya's delicate fingers would find their way into his hair. Softly at first, sensual like two people about to make love for the first time. But this wasn't her and Altair's first time, far from it. Aadya's fingers would curl tightly, pulling on Altair's hair roughly, making his head go back a bit. She would start by kissing him on his now exposed neck, working her way up until their lips would meet, her tongue finding his.

The battle raging around them was no longer of consequence to her. Only they, her and Altair, existed in this moment.

Everything else was just white noise.
