If we were cloaked it means we'd appear neutral, you wouldn't know we were of the dark side. It's like what sideous did. They didn't feel he was cloaked, he stood before the entire council and the like and no one noticed he was the dark lord of the sith. Granted there's certainly a difference in power level between Mort and Sideous, but still, it's the same principle here...We're dressed in diplomatic robes, and there's not really any reason to think of us as dark siders. Sure, as enemies due to having been introduced from the hutts, and perhaps you'd feel something was off. But I mean passed that...

I'd be up for continuing this if you like, not sure how it was originally intended to play out or whatever, but it's still set before the attack on the temple, so secrecy would be in effect, and the outcome would have to be none of you coming out the wiser that the dark jedi there were part of a greater group, as you had no knowledge of it before the dark jedi attacked the temple.
