IMPERIAL SPLENDOUR - MISSION IDEAS​

Good Morning to all my fellow British Sith, and Good Mid-Late Afternoon/Evening to all my American Sith. Other nations? I chose to ignore you Hello in general.


I have been complaining to @Malon no end recently that my Grand Moff does not appear to be doing anything, and acting on his advice, I have decided to kick into gear some schemes; as I think it would be a darn shame for a senior rank IC to be occupied by an inactive character. To that end I am working on a scheme and plot, and also generally saying: If you need a Moff to give you stuff to do, ask me.


Hopefully it is no secret that I normally play Hutt Characters, and in that capacity I often oversaw giving out missions and plotting dastardly schemes, so my plan is to refocus that effort into helping us out a bit.


To give you a lowdown on my Grand Moffs motivations, let me say the following:


Grand Moff Solomon Lok is a traditionalist, very pro-military and very pro-security - Old School Imperial if you will. He views the increasing influence of organisations such as the Inquisition as a destabilizing influence, and thinks the Military and Imperial Noble Families should have a greater say in what goes on in the Core, a Sector he views as the Traditional Heartlands of the Galaxy.


In furtherance of his Core-Centric Views, he is spoiling for a war with the Mandalorians, as he views them as uncultured barbarians, ripe for subjugation by the ‘benevolent imperium’. It is his belief that the Humanocentric Core should serve as a shining example to others, through commerce, culture and heritage.


With that in mind, he has two main objectives starting out with War with Mandalore with a longer term objective (which will most likely fail miserably) of Restructuring the Empire around the ‘Old Core’.


So, in order to increase his interaction with you guys, my plan is to have him move forward with the following:


SABRE Corp - A small company that develops military hardware and software, leading to greater interaction with spying groups (as a lot of their stuff is spyware) within the Empire as well as the Imperial Legion in general. I would also like to work alongside the less PvP focused characters (@Marf springs to mind) to develop some weapons and drugs to help the

sith subjugate worlds.


Pushing for War - In the next couple of days, Solomon will be meeting with covert groups to attempt to drive them into helping with a war with Mandalore. This should see him engage more with other factions.


Now ideally I would love for people's suggestions as to how they think the Grand Moff of the Core could help with activity and missions in the Sith Empire, so please do comment below and let me know. I would love to hear from other Moffs as well, and maybe we could even get a Moff meeting up (but with less explosive droids?).

Looks and sounds very cool to me! My Sith is a former Mandalorian who was exiled, so he would definitely be interested in any efforts to crush Mandalorian war efforts. That is if your Grand Moff is okay with Sith interfering in Military Matters.

I shall take a closer look at your characters, but in the meantime (whilst I hash out some more direct stuff to do to drive us into this ‘ere war) I reckon it would be worthwhile for me to set something up for our chaps and chapesses to meet and greet?


I have rather a lot of threads on at present, so would you guys be OK for this to kick off on Monday? (Giving more people a chance to express interest, and for any other stuff to be sorted in advance as well)
