Specialisation refers to the expertise your character focuses on; intelligence, marksmanship, combat medic, etc.
The majority of characters will begin at the rank of Trooper. Exceptions to this will be made on a case-by-case basis.

This is the positively certifiable character I mentioned to Raydo. Essentially she's a mad scientist who has come to offer her services to the Border Alliance. I'm perfectly happy to workshop this character so any critiques would be welcome, I just wanted to write a somewhat off the walls crazy character for once.
