I understand your frustration, especially with your character's death. If you ever feel interested in returning to the site, hit me up. I'm more then willing to help you build a badass character, it's easy for me and one of my favorite aspects of writing. Hope to see you around, or perhaps meet you in another game/rp. I went completely off the rails when my Sith died before I was ready for him to go. (again sorry @Sreeya , @Phoenix ) I tried to play my old Indie but I was burned out and family emergency kept me from really enjoying myself. So I took a break, been gone for something like a month(ish), and have returned just in time for the skip. The people I still like to write with are still here and the timeline is about to change and start a new. The time off was well spent and much needed, now I'm back and ready to write again. But perhaps stay away from PvP.

Point I'm trying to make is don't call it quits based on a Character death. We invest a lot of time and energy in them sure but in the end they are just words in a box. Just take a little break, cool off or find something to reset for a couple of weeks. When the rage quit feeling has passed come back and save and or destroy the galaxy with the rest of us.

A lot of the frustration both @Comrade Matt and myself feel at the moment is due to the fact we were not looking for PvP at all, it was a story and character development based thread that his character was killed in. The thread was derailed because I had made the mistake of making it an Open thread, doubtful I'm likely to make such an error again. I just regret that in that one small way, Matt's leaving is sort of my fault.

@Comrade Matt I agree with Taz, please don't leave the site over this, if anything try and come back after the timeskip, no one can fault taking a break, quitting altogether means there are less of us around who actually care about each other's characters, rather than names on a kill sheet.​

A rather insulting assertion. Not that I really care about your opinion either way, but to make blanket statements like that makes you seem somewhat petty and laughably salty.

It's all good Norbs, Relent's not wrong, my comment was said out of frustration and guilt. My comment was in poor taste, though it was meant more for Matt's benefit if he read it. After rereading it I acknowledged my choice of words does leave it open for insult. If anyone is offended, I apologize, though I know the particular people it refers to well enough to know they're not likely to be wounded by mere words. If I actually had a real problem with something or someone I'd contact the admins. So what if I'm salty? This water dweller prefers the ocean anyway.​

@Comrade Matt had a blast with you in that mission thread with your Sith. I thought you handled that like a champ and it was a lot of fun. Really sorry to see you go and hope you will reconsider. As they say around here-- They always come back!

I was really tired last night when I wrote this, both physically and emotionally. I've thought about it more. Thank you so much for all the love, from all of you. I honestly thought no one here would miss me since my hiatus, and I felt like people didn't remember me.

What @Taz said really inspired me. I'll be thinking about my decision today and maybe tomorrow. I'm inclined to stay, and if I do I'll probably throw myself into RPing. One of the problems I think I had was that I went too fast and burned myself out, which is why I'll be more cautious when entering threads.

Don't worry, @Undine, it's not your fault.

Anyways, I might come back. I'll probably have a concrete answer tomorrow or maybe later today. Thank you guys.
