COMPOSITION AND APPEARANCE:
Gaius is a tall hulking man standing at 6’6”, he towers over most in his battalion. Gaius is in no description small, on his free time he spends most of his days training so he has bulked up as a result. Gaius had Reflective Sapphire eyes; he also has on his face the marks of his tribe and his Family on Danteel. His black hair is short and spiky most and neatly kept. Gaius wears a black variation to the standard GA with the appropriate markings.
PERSONALITY:
Giaus is very serious about his work; he refuses to accept failure in any of the soldiers under his command. Gaius is cold and precise in his training methods; he has built the reputation of quite the hard ass in the Infantry. His greatest fear is one of his men dying because he did not train them properly. In battle Gaius is ruthless, if he is not told to retreat by his commanders, then the word does not exist in his mind, Gaius singles out the weak in his group and will push them more than the others. Gaius is way passed the goofy soldier stage in his life, he has seen too many of his close friends and his family, to joke about the horrors of war that does not mean that he will discourage other from doing this; he just will not participate himself. Gaius rarely shows emotion to people outside of his family, mainly his sister who he worries about every day.

LIKES AND DISLIKES:
Gaius has devoted his entire life to the cause of the Galactic Alliance; recently he has devoted his time to honor the fallen heroes of the cause, he does this by commissioning Monuments on his home planets to be placed on the planets around the Alliance. Gaius regularly talks with his sister over the holo-communicator. Gaius enjoys to participate I’m marksmen ship contest and tests of melee combat.

Gaius dislikes being singled out for anything; if he gets honored he wants his entire unit to be honored with him. His also dislikes all officers that don’t fight on the front with him, sees them as “medal Chasers, who will decimate an entire battalion for a single act of glory. He hates whiners, he feels that if you signed the contract, there isn’t much you can say.


STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:
Gaius’ strength is in his ferocity of battle, he knows how to hit you where it hurts, and he will enjoy it while he does it. He prides himself having some of the best and most disciplined soldiers in his squad, he Battle presence inspires all who fight for him.

Gaius’ weakness would be his inability to let go, the person he is hardest on is himself, he takes every loss in his squad personally, and it shows, when he is not leading his troops, he is almost always alone thinking about those he lost, it eat away at him like a cancer.

Gaius’ does not do what he does for the glory, and he does not expect or want a promotion, he merely wants to get as many men home as he can.

BIOGRAPHY:
Gaius Decimus Amiri Xylona is one of the four elder sons of the couple Alania and Tavian Xylonia. Brought up as a refuge from the lost of Danteel, he was taught the history and tragedy of his people. Having eleven brothers and one sister he and his three older brothers was tasked with keeping order along with his parents, this caused the family to become very close unit, training day after day together, always trying to outdo the other, for Gaius this was the perfect life filled with the happiness of his family and his people. Like all danteen children he was trained in combat for the day that they would take back their home world from the Sith Plague that had taken hold there.


The training was not easy but Gaius surpassed even his brothers in combat impressed many people with his tactical skills in group battles. Gaius would suffer no rival he would fell any person put in front of him, the only person he ever showed mercy on was his sister, as she was small and was never meant for combat, and still she impressed him with her speed and resourcefulness. Gaius was the only one of his siblings to wish his sister well as she left to become a Jedi, for he himself longed to get off Dagro, and that’s just what he did, almost a year after his sister left Gaius enlisted in the Galactic Alliance Infantry.

Basic training was not hard for Gaius, he had been in training all his life, and this was no different, he merely had to master the use of a blaster. Gaius was first recruited to become a scout, but he soon found that he loved the sheer fire power that he was able to unleash as a full on Grunt. His first assignment was as a Ammo man attached to a Mortar gun, he witnessed many fierce battle, but the only problem was that he was miles away from them as the Particle Mortar had long rang capabilities. Gaius grew tired of this and after his first enlistment was up he signed for challenge units in the Galactic Alliance forces



By this time Gaius was a Corporal, his new unit suited him well, he even was lucky enough to join the unit that his three brothers had joined, as they had joined up not long after he did. Their first mission as a family was important to the GA and to them; they along with the Jedi were to finally liberate Danteel from the Empire. In the battle they entire fleet took heavy losses, Gaius’ battalion moved through the city for the next five weeks, driving the Empire to a single stronghold in the mountains, during this push Gaius watched as all of his brothers were stuck down by Imperial snipers Gaius had always felt that his brothers did not get the same training that he did, and this proved it, it was from this point on that Gaius became much more strict with troopers in his charge. Coming to one final battle, Gaius and the rest of his Battlion fought bravely and wiped out the Imperial threat in there sector in the next few days.

In the aftermath of the battle Gaius’ CO prepared to send his brothers remains back to Dagro, Gaius refused as he wanted them to be buried on their true home planet. Gaius was given thirty days of leave to deal with his family affairs, himself his Sister Adonia, and the rest of his family and tribe buried them with honor, in the great halls of their fathers.

Reporting back to Duty Gaius was promoted for his bravery to Sergeant, faced with training a new batch of recruits Gaius looks hopefully in to the bright future. He was transferred to ODSB-44-Wing: Blue

The mission was simple by there standards, the Alliance navy wanted to stage a full force invasion to take back the captured planet, but the Empire had a vast network of planetary batteries, they would be slaughtered dropping the troops in. The 44th ODSB was tasked with selecting a capable platoon sized element for the forward assault which job was to wipe out the planet defense batteries in the zeta quadrant, with drop ship insertion impossible the GA unveiled there newest special forces insertion vehicles, each one for a single soldier would be drop from a carrier, the men basically free falling from low orbit, would land in a pre-designated drop zone.

four platoons were sent, one of which held Gaius' squad, once on the ground they moved to each planetary battery and detonated the charges. All went well until the last battery, each platoon met up at the exact spot for after this last battery went down a special drop ship would arrive hook them, reel them in and back to the carrier, but there path was blacked by a sith warrior. The powerful sith had pinned down the rest of Gaius' platoon, with heavy losses already taken and his superiors on the ground dead, Gaius instructed his men to prepare for extraction, he would handle the last target and the Sith himself.

The fight was quick but vicious, Gaius knew he was no match for his opponent so he had devised another plan, as the sith warrior picked up his almost lifeless body, Gaius pulled out a detonator, The Sith Warrior laughed as he knew the blast would not kill him, but Gaius reminded him the bomb was not for him, "NO!" he screamed as he tossed Gaius and turned to try and run to the bomb but it was too late. In anger he turned around to kill Gaius but, he hap already popped his tow cable and was pulled off the platform a second later. the last thing Gaius remembered before he blacked out was the thousands of Alliance soldiers safely jumping in.

Gaius woke up a week later, too the heckles and joy of his men, afterwards he was promoted to Lieutenant for finishing the mission without sacrificing his entire platoon, and for having the heart to take up command when his superiors lay dead. his unit was sent back to Coruscant orbit to begin recruiting and retraining, he cannot wait until he can join his brothers back on the front lines of he war.
