He wasn't even sure why he had ever even accepted a promotion within the Sector Rangers. He hated it. He wanted to be out in the field, by himself do real police work, not sitting behind some desk reading about what others did.

Typhus Deline was one of the most ruthless, evil individuals he knew. The man, before getting caught, had killed countless of people, seemingly for the fun of it. He was extremely intelligent and an expert at disappearing until he struck again.
Nick was sure he would strike soon, the man had been locked away for five years. He likely had already killed, but it was only a matter of time before he tried something big.
He tapped a finger on his glass in the dimly lit bar. This was the last area where Typhus had been seen before disappearing like a ghost. Nick hoped he would pick up the trail before it grew too cold and he had to start for square one.
