The way Renfry suggested that Elina should pick the transport made her grin as it seemed she didn't completely understand how they were going to actually do it. Guess it made it that much more fun to witness. It was agreed that they would return back to the manor but would take a quick detour to her ship. When asked if she needed anything, Elina simply glanced down at her, now dry, clothes but they really weren't in the condition to be taken on a mission anymore.

She sheepishly ran a hand through her scarlet hair and let out a soft laugh, "Uh, hopefully, you have some clothes to spare if you don't mind." Elina wasn't usually the type to ask for help like this but the dip into the river was quite a surprise to her. Renfry was already on the move however and she just took that as a yes to letting her borrow some clothes.

Elina would walk out of the room with Renfry and accompany her to her ship.

They arrived at Renfry's ship a short while later. The ship itself was a simple design and didn't look particularly like something that one might have expected from a former Nightsister. This was because it was simply a ship that she had taken from Dathomir from one of the thralls of the Forgotten.

She had cleaned it up a bit, but it was very... simple. Everything within the ship was pragmatic, and it wasn't clear if this was by Renfry's choice or the choice of whoever had owned the ship before.

Help yourself to something to drink, she said, motioning across the main room to where there was an option of water or several different types of fruit juice. For her part, Renfry disappeared around the corner and emerged moments later with a pair of pants and a shirt for Elina.

The pants were tight and flexible, something like what an acrobat might wear and the shirt was similar. Both were black and hardly fashionable but very practical at the least. Finally she handed her a long, scarf-like wrap that could be used to conceal the face.

For herself, she took her now-standard combat suit, having an actual helmet that could flip up and down, to the other room and slipped into it. @Orbit

Elina actually liked the ship. She was an advocate for beauty but in concentrated doses. The ship was spartan but there was beauty in simplicity and being inside made her realize that she should soon get her own ship. The process of stealing or hopping rides was becoming a tiring one.

Renfry suggested making herself at home and she immediately went to the fruit juice that was laid out before her. She unsurprisingly picked the red one and took a sizeable gulp. "Oh wow, that ain't too bad at all." Cherry was her favorite flavor and she was thankful that it appeared as one of the options for her. Elina sat herself down in a chair and placed her feet on the table as she waited while sipping on her drink.

When the clothes were brought to her, she held them in her hands for a few moments before just shrugging and throwing them on the table. Elina peeled off her layers of clothing and changed into her replacements. When it was all on, she glanced down at her figure and twisted her leg a few times to examine herself. "Well, I could certainly distract them with this." It was a tight fit and didn't leave her curves to the imagination. It did look nice, however.

She was then handed a scarf and Elina wrapped it around the base of her neck but let it loosely hang there. Only needed the mask when they actually got near the premises. With all that done, she cast a glance to Renfry as she stopped herself by the door, "You ready to get out of here darling?"

She was glad to see the Elina enjoyed the drink, and Renfry down some water for herself as they prepared to leave.

She slipped the helmet into place along with the slightly more robe-like clothing and flipped the faceplate up for now. The other woman's clothes were tight, but fit well enough and were better than simple street clothes for this type of operation.

She grabbed a handful of other equipment as well to slip into a small pack, just in case she decided she needed it. Simple utility and climbing gear.

Let's do it, she said. She still wasn't sure precisely what Elina's plan was for finding a transport, but she was more than happy to follow along.

The ritual will take some time, but it'll ensure that he is always loyal to us, she said, explaining a bit more about what she had planned as they proceeded down the street. The sun was already down and that meant that their window to strike was beginning to open. @Orbit

Renfry picked up the remaining equipment she thought they would need for the trip before sounding off that they were all prepared. They exited from the ship to head straight to the Senator's house, the ritual explained on the way as it would somehow ensure that the man would remain loyal to them. Elina couldn't help but give her a questioning look, "That sounds quite powerful for some ritual." Again, it was her first time dealing with this magik and it surprised her more and more when it was explained to her.

It would be night time when they would eventually arrive at their destination. It was one of those metal bridges that were erected all throughout the city and crisscrossed. The one they came to was completely empty and acted more as a rail than anything but it would certainly do the job. Elina hopped on top of it and walked down it calmly until they would reach the mid-point where the estate would be directly below it. The wind picked up at their altitude and Elina pulled up her scarf to cover her face and her hair, only leaving the eyes.

Elina pointed down to the rows of flying speeders as they followed invisible lanes so that they didn't crash. "Now, companies always have their products moving throughout the city. Either to the docks or just off the planet in general. There is usually a lot of product to move.." It was obvious she waited for something and when it finally showed, she whipped her finger to it. It wasn't a speeder but a transport, nearly triple the size of a regular speeder and moving half as slow. It was practically a moving landing pad. If Renfry didn't understand where she was going with it, she was about to find out.

Instead of saying anything, Elina let out a chuckle and gave Renfry a salute before she simply just stepped forward and fell off. Her body went through the air like a spear and when she neared the transport, the force wrapped around her entire body and was used to control her descent. She landed on the roof of the transport with a light thud and rolled out of it so she ended up in a crouched position. Elina stood up to her full height and activated her comm piece, "Better come down quick."

Renfry just smirked as the woman said that it sounded powerful for "some ritual." Yes, it was an unusual subject that she had grown up studying, and it had many applications that people were not prepared for.

As they started heading out on the bridge, she looked over the edge to see the estate below. As soon as she did, she understood what Elina intended. This seemed like it could have very easily gone poorly, but, well, it was the best plan they probably had.

She flipped the faceplate on her helmet down and watched Elina leap off. She didn't wait for the other woman to hit the transport before she was over the edge as well, dropping and feeling suddenly like one of the great falcons of Dathomir descending on its prey. She used the Shadow to slow her descent, hitting the top of the transport and running for the edge. She'd seen their next target during her drop and knew they had a short window for it.

She leapt off, eyes locking in on a passenger transport, slightly faster and smaller, but still large enough to be a relatively easy target.

She hit it cleanly and looked back to see if Elina was following. @Orbit

When Elina landed and stared back up, Renfry would join her only a few seconds later before simply running off again and jumping onto another transport. She shrugged slightly as she guessed the Nightsister had done it before and she simply jumped off onto the next one as well. The landing was rough but she rolled onto it again and ran straight for the next one. It was clear they didn't need to wait for each other on this, so she just kept running.

On the last transport, the estate popped into her view completely and Elina smiled at the sight. She committed the last jump as she freely flew through the air. The distance between her and the roof shortened quickly but when she got close enough, the force radiated from her and was used to slow her fall once more. Elina hit the gravel roof and spun out of it once more, dirt and other material on her clothing but unscratched. She dusted herself off and glanced around, not finding anyone or anything on the roof at the moment.

She took cover behind one of the air conditioning units and would wait to regroup with Renfry. When she arrived, she would pull out her datapad, "So, are we splitting up and one of us hits the security room, or are we both sticking together throughout this?" Elina didn't really care which was picked, it was Renfry's mission and she would let her decide how they wanted to proceed for this.

Renfry made it down the final drops and onto the roof right after Elina, hitting a bit harder than intended and sending herself into a roll and up into a crouch.

That was fun, she muttered, uncertain whether or not Elina would hear what she said. It wasn't an important comment, of course, but it was true and just sort of slipped out.

Together, she said, glancing over to see if Elina agreed. They could sort out the security center later and there was less chance of being spotted if they were both in the same place. Not only that, Renfry could use Elina's help with the ritual. Perhaps if all went well, the Senator could simply let them out the front gate himself. Only time would tell.

Can you keep him asleep with the Sha... the Force when we get in there? she asked, using the word that the Sith typically used. That would give Renfry the time to set the ritual up. Of course, the slight problem was later dealing with the evidence the ritual left behind, but... well, that was simply something she'd have to deal with.

If she agreed, Renfry would proceed toward the edge of the roof, watching the patrols until there was a gap and dropping down, slipping in the back door and pausing to listen for anyone or anything moving around. @Orbit

Renfry finally landed and made a comment about how fun it was, which only made Elina chuckle, "Don't kill yourself for enjoying yourself." That has always been her mindset. If there was no enjoyment in what she did, then why even do it at all. While she had done her fair share of serious tasks, it never hurt to have some entertainment and make her time spent more enjoyable than it normally is.

It was concluded that they would go together and it worked for her. The last time they split up, nothing bad had happened but nothing just happened. Maybe their luck would change if they stuck together this time. When Renfry asked if Elina could keep him asleep, she simply shrugged her shoulders but with a smile she couldn't help, "I've never kept someone asleep... at least through the force but why not." She's knocked people out and other intimate methods but not using the force to keep someone in their slumber. But she was willing to try and she suspected it wouldn't be too hard.

Both of them went to the edge of the roof and when they found the opening with the guards, they both jumped down with ease and went through the back door. When they entered, Elina immediately dove and pressed her back against the wall, and masked herself in shadow. A patrol of two guards paused momentarily to stare at the back door before simply just moving on after clearing it.

Elina stepped out from the shadow and into a crouched position. She remembered where the master bedroom had been last time and she waved her hand for Renfry to follow. They would snake through the manor and carefully avoid servants and the guards as it would be a grueling process. Eventually arriving upstairs, they would be in front of a set of ornate double-doors. The firrerreno would turn towards her partner, "Well, this is it."

While Renfry was glad to hear that the other woman felt like she could manage to keep him asleep, it was mildly concerning to her that she had never done it before.

You sure? she asked, not wanting to risk the fact that the woman might not be able to actually figure it out on the fly. If she didn't feel confident, Renfry could try to walk her through the process. She was correct, it wasn't overly difficult, but that didn't mean the first time couldn't still be a struggle.

She followed along with Elina as they made their way up to the bedroom, glad they had a bit of recon from their earlier expedition. She could hear faint snoring from the bed and held out her hand to her side. There was a small flash of green and a small knife appeared in her hand. She didn't waste time getting to work, hoping that Elina would be able to keep the man asleep while she went to work.

She knew the marks on the floor might create a bit of an issue, but she would just have to figure out a way to cover it up later, whether having him replace or repair the floor or even burning part of the building down.

She started carving symbols into the wood floor, preparing for the ritual that was going to come and hoping no one heard the scraping sounds. This would have been a great deal easier in... pretty much any other context.

After several minutes, she stood.

It's ready. We need to move him to the center of the circle, she said, indicating the need to maneuver him over to the circle. @Orbit

Renfry asked if she was sure if she wanted to do this and she couldn't help the response that came out, "No, I'm not sure. We should turn back around and call it off." Elina gave her a look as if saying, come on, even if it was going to be difficult, she could find a way to manage. The man was a senator after all, they were smart in constructing deals and saying fancy words but they weren't quite known for their mental fortitude.

While Renfry got to work, Elina made her way over to the bed as she made careful steps to not make any noise. She stood at the right side of it, the senator peaceful gone from this world and sunken in his mind as he dreamed of whatever helped senators sleep at night. She closed her eyes and raised both of her hands as they aligned with their target's head. Elina reached out with the force gently as she crept into the senator's mind. His connection to his subconscious was discovered and she wrapped the tendrils of the force around it carefully.

The senator shifted slightly but he remained in his sleep which turned into a deep slumber. Renfry gave the signal that she was ready to bring the ritual and Elina gave her a nod before moving their target. He was tenderly lifted up into the air and brought into the center of the ritualistic circle. He was gently placed down afterward as Elina moved to the very edge of the circle and sat down on her knees as she rested her hands on her knees. Her gaze just locked on the Senator as she kept her focus and let Renfry begin the ritual.

Renfry watched Elina maneuver the man into the center of the circle. With that, it was ready.

This will take quite a while, can you make sure no one interrupts or checks on him? she asked. The ritual could often take several hours, but they had arrived early in the night, giving her plenty of time.

She took a deep breath and touched a hand to the man's forehead and the other to the glyphs on the ground.

Maia, hin salen voz ent entuf bren u, she said quietly, invoking the spirits to begin to penetrate the man's mind. As she entered, she was relieved to see that it was, in fact, not the mental fortress she had feared. Not that she'd expected it to be - the man was known for being a flopper at the best of times - but the confirmation was still welcome.

The ritual would stretch on for quite some time as promised, and during the course of it, Elina would be forced to deal with the security personnel wandering the building. One who had heard the scratching sounds ascended the stairs to come ensure that everything was all right, approaching the bedroom as if to knock or enter. @Orbit

The connection between the senator and his subconscious was thoroughly secure and she doubted the man would wake up unless he was forced from the outside or if Renfry messed with something that she wasn't supposed to. Elina was actually ready to just sit and meditate while she did that but it was smarter to stand and be on watch. She wasn't usually a meditator but it appealed to her for some reason to do it then but she would have to wait when they weren't trespassing.

She got up quietly and made her way to the door and stood by the wall near the door. Elina leaned back against it along with her head, crossed her arms, and reached out with the force while she waited. She listened to the words that Renfry spoke and the sound of her etching more runes. But eventually, she could sense another presence coming and directly towards them. Maybe they weren't as quiet as they thought.

As whoever it was got closer, Elina pushed off the wall and stood directly behind the door as she placed a hand on the handle. When there was a knock, she cast a glance to Renfry before opening the door forcefully outward. The edge of it would smack directly into the guard's face outside and she would quickly step out and slam the hilt of her lightsaber right in his stomach. The man was unprepared for the assault and he bent over at the sudden strike. Elina didn't wait and just slammed her hilt against the back of his head before catching him with the force so that he didn't make a hard landing.

She opened the door with her rear as she walked back into the room with the guard floating in behind her. He was simply thrown on the bed to wait until they were finished. Elina would walk around the room then, checking out bookshelves and other personal items until either another guard came up or the ritual was finished.

Renfry was methodical in her actions, carving away at the man's mind piece by piece. She took down wall after wall within, glimpsing memories and flashes of his life. He really was a repugnant man, and she found herself without an ounce of remorse over what she was doing. Sure, the strong rose, but he was just... scum.

Eventually, she reached her goal within the heart of his mind. It was a place already touched by darkness and she reached out to pour her own energies into it. Like poison in a glass of water, her will began to spread out, rifling through his own desires and the things that made him "him" until it was dominated by the will of the Sith.

She stepped back as everything around her began to crumble down, feeling the call of the glyphs to draw her back to the physical world.

She jolted back to reality with a deep breath. It always felt like a splash of cold water back to the face and she opened her eyes wide and blinked, trying to reaccimate to what was going on as if awakening from a deep sleep.

Senator's home, 0400, body... she blinked again, looking at the body on the floor. That wasn't right.

You killed someone?! she hissed at Elina, not realizing he was only unconscious, but even that would be a problem. She'd been "under" for nearly six hours by the looks of things. That would mean they would need to make this look like a break in if someone had been knocked out.

We need to steal some things and maybe burn the floorboards, she said, pushing to her feet. It didn't need to look great, but at least good enough to make the guards buy that the Sith hadn't been here performing a ritual on their boss. @Orbit

While Renfry was stuck in her trance, Elina walked around the room and inspected everything carefree. She slid one of the books out of the shelves, sliding one of her index fingers down the spine of it before she flipped it over and opened it. She would just whistle quietly to herself, skipping through the table of contents before putting it back where it was. A reader was a category she never really saw herself in or placed herself in but it was a good waste of time.

Renfry made a little jolt that Elina could hear and she turned smoothly to look at her, a smile on her face as she assumed that meant the woman was done. But clearly, that woman wasn't pleased as she hissed at her for most likely the second body that had been placed on the bed. Elina's smiled disappeared as she glanced at the guard and then at Renfry, "No, of course not. I'm not some animal." She walked over to the bed and slapped the unconscious guard right on the cheek as he still didn't get up, "My man was very intent on getting inside."

Then the solution to steal items was offered and she had no problem with that. "Oh, I can do that." Elina walked through the room with practiced ease, opening drawers, and other containers. She would end up with a golden watch, a few necklaces, and an assortment of valuable items. She almost jingled with every step if she didn't adjust the jewelry in her pockets. Elina gestured with her hand to the ground, the gold watch on her wrist then, "I'll leave you to handle the burning. I'd probably bring this whole thing down on top of us and kill our senator." That would be been terrible and made everything they did tonight pointless.

Elina would stop by the door and wait after Renfry had completed whatever she needed to do. They were beginning to overstay their welcome and that made it more dangerous for them.

Renfry was at least glad to hear that the man wasn't dead, but they still had their work cut out for them. She sighed and started looking around the room while Elina went to work on stealing things. They needed to set this fire in such a way that the blaze would cover up what had happened, but wouldn't kill the Senator.

Or perhaps they should just move the Senator themselves and kill the guard. No, that was probably unnecessary. Surely others would come to investigate the flames.

She pulled some of the bedding from the bed and used the Shadow to begin lighting them aflame. It was slow going, but she continued fanning the flame until it was a full blaze. She also took a bottle of his fine alcohol and covered the floorboards she had used in the alcohol, letting the flame spread much more quickly and ensure it would cover all the scratchings. Then came the blankets as the final layer atop the floor.

And they had a full fire.

We need to go, she said, grabbing the Senator and hoisting him up with the help of the Force. She carried him from the room and smacked him down roughly enough that he started stirring. She hoped Elina would do the same.

And with that, she headed for the window. They already knew how to get out: they'd done it before, and she supposed that was at least one advantage to their earlier recon. @Orbit

Things were stolen and fires were set, that was their cue to leave the building. It was a little strange that the senator was robbed before a random fire happened but hopefully with the magik that had infected the man's mind, he could wipe the concern away from others because it was his own home. Renfry picked up the senator with the force and lifted him into another room. Elina sighed and realized she had to do the same and lifted the guard as well.

Both their prisoners were dropped well enough that it could shake them from their slumber. Elina made her way to the window with Renfry before slipping out and hopping down to the ground below. The fire had grown brighter and its light could be seen outside through the windows. The patrols around them quickly ran towards the direction of the fire and cleared the fields for them to cross.

Elina didn't need another signal and sprinted across, heading straight for the gate that they had hopped over earlier. When she cleared it and made it to the other side, she quickly straightened her clothes and slipped her items into whatever pockets that were available on her clothes. When Renfry crossed, she would pull down whatever fabric that could be considered as a mask and made her stride relaxed. "Let's get to your ship and get out of here." She had grown tired of this planet already and wanted a couch.

Renfry was quick on Elina's tail, and the two were over the fence and making their way away from the building before the smoke even began to really rise out of the windows of the building.

She hoped against hope that there wasn't a chance the senator had been killed in the fire, but somehow she was confident that wasn't the case.

Agreed, she said with a sigh. She could use a long night of rest and a trip off this world and over to somewhere less... industrial. It wasn't as bad as Coruscant, but it was no jungle out here.

The trip back to the ship was relatively uneventful, and Renfry was thankful for that. She had no doubt the senator would be making a stir at some point in the future.
