@Apollyon cleared us joining with @Gaarbecca as far as I'm aware.

I asked @Gaarbecca if I could have some people defend Ruin's assets on Zygerria, he agreed. Their primary objective is to stop the slaves, your characters are secondary. Just escape

That was rude of me, your character's are secondary to the slaves. If your character's can escape, cool. You don't HAVE to directly engage if you have a clear means of escape.

To be honest, I'm surprised you're surprised @Herrith Hendarsin. lol. I assumed @Gaarbecca told you since I was asked to join a day or two ago. If you aren't down for some PvP you can escape like @Apollyon suggests, or I can delete my post if it's that upsetting.

It's not upsetting, I was just never informed. I'll probably play it safe and eventually run off, seeing as your character is a trained killer and mine is just a smuggler.
