The Corporate Tower on Eriadu starkly contrasted to the harsh industrial complex surrounding it. Sitting in the middle of the Elysian Fields Complex, the Corporate Tower was a tremendous 180-Story Skyscraper of gleaming transparasteel and durasteel, built to house the offices of the Phoenix Corporation.

The blade-shaped tower rose precisely one kilometer into the sky, elegantly slicing through a low-flying cloud so that the very top of the structure - which housed the offices of Co-CEO's Sir Johann Winslow and Jacob Roseberg - looked down upon a sea of white.

Between the two offices, situated on opposite sides of the blade-like structure, sat the meeting hall. A massive, majestic hall, with a transparasteel roof and walls that allowed the corporation's officers a bird's-eye view of the great industrial complex below, when the clouds did not block the view.

The hall was given a black marble floor, with bands of gold inlaid in a loose curving patterns through the well-polished tile. The high ceiling rested atop eight great black marble pillars placed ten meters apart near the very edge of the hall, and they - like the floor - were inlaid with gold strands spiraling up to the top.

In the center of the hall, between the pillars, sat a rectangular black durasteel table with a solid base that was as beautifully crafted as the mighty pillars. Just as it had form, it had function; a holo-projector sat in the center of the table, and fold-up computer terminals were spaced around the table to grant officials access to the corporate mainframe. Arranged around the table were high-back metal chairs, also beautifully crafted. Short planters, filled with a mix of flowers and a short green shrub that gently flowed over the sides of the planters, sat between the pillars, adding some much-needed life to the elegant and businesslike atmosphere of the hall.

At the northern head of the table stood Sir Johann Winslow, founder and Co-CEO of the Phoenix Corporation. The man was clad in his usual eccentric garb, despite the gentle urges of his secretary to adopt a more typical outfit, and seemed to be in a rather chipper mood... Though that wasn't unusual for the businessman, who oft spent his days locked away in his office, alternating between carefully planning for the corporation's future and working on his latest series of inventions, or on refining old inventions such as the Crusader family of power armor.

The CEO was patiently waiting for the Phoenix Corporation's chairmen and his business partner to arrive, along with the Corporation's head researchers. Obviously, not everyone would be able to make it to the meeting, but he hoped that a fair amount of his employees would be able to make it, so that they could discuss and plan for the future of the Corporation, and establish a list of research and development projects to be undertaken.

The elevator ride up was long and tedious, but it would be well worth it once he reached the top. Once the elevator stopped and the doors opened, all four walked out and towards the meeting room. When he saw the secretary outside, he adjusted his suit tie and flashed his ID card to her to let her know who he was as the other two approached the doors. Today would be a marvelous day...

When the front doors to the meeting room opened, two GP-101 security droid units entered, armed with blaster rifles as they looked around before standing at attention as their master, the wealthy zabrak Mister Kasleeve entered in his best suit he had. It was a white jacket of sort with light green pants and undershirt, shiny black dress shoes and a spotless red half cape attached to his jacket. In his hand was a suitcase and at his side was a GP-102 assistant droid unit, carrying another suitcase and stayed at his master's side, as did the other two droids when Kasleeve moved towards the table.

Kasleeve then saw that he was the second to arrive and that Mister Winslow, his boss, was already there and apparently waiting for others.

"Ah, Sir Winslow, it's a fine day, is it not? I look forward to the events that are to take place today in this room. How are you today?"

Kasleeve asked, taking his seat on the left side of the table near the end that was at the doors where he just entered, his droids standing behind him as if they were protecting him.

Silently, the venting System of the building blew a cold breeze - and never stopped."stomp"... "stomp" it went, as heavy and furry paws walked behind Jacob Roseberg, who made his way to the Conference room.
It was a day, the one that was awaited by him and Winslow... the meeting of many "needed" people of the Corporation, such as the Droid-Master "Kasleev".
"The project, how far are you with it Chaw?" the voice echoed through the lonely corridors.
"whworarcanro waoowhwo, shraoaoorh... ohwo ohahanan anooooor wwoorcohrarcwa ahwhaooo aoacwo orahwhrr akrcooshwooaao, aoacoohurrac ah oarawh'ao racchurcwo rooohu ohacwowh ohwo ohahanan rhwo waoowhwo."
"Leave your time. This shall be well thought through - since this is no ordinary project... Goodbye, Chaw - of course, we shall meet again - Old Friend."
"acsc... huwhaoahanan aoacwowh.shraoaoorh." the Wookiee nodded, and walked away - as his Vision enhancement began to make a peeping noise, though this disturbing effect in Rosebergs ears, would not last long as the Elevator finally arrived before him.

With a smile in his face, it drove higher and higher - untill it stopped its journey.
The doors slided open, and two well known faces appeared before him... Winslow, his fair friend and CEO, and the Kasleev - the corporations Mechanicbranch leader.
"Greetings, Dr.Kasleev" he nodded right towards him as he sat down "And of course, greetings Winslow.I presume the others will arrive soon?"

On one of the elevators behind the other visitors was Jacob Forsei. He was the head of the lab on Eriadu. He had just signed up with them over some of the holo computers. His extensive experience in the lab allowed him to actually rise to the top while doing very little. However, he was rather grumpy.

In the middle of his relaxing time on the warm beaches of an Onderonian resort, he had been called to a meeting. While he knew he'd get quite a bit of money from the venture, he was still annoyed at having been interrupted on his own vacation. Regardless, he had to go so he had put on his lab coat and boarded a train to leave. Interestingly, the same one that carried him there where he had met some stupid Hutt assassin who apparently got executed later on.

From there, he had gone to the space port and gone to Eriadu. And from there, he got to the elevator and at the top, he began walking out into the opulent room. It was rather nice but he still remained quite grumpy.

"Hi Mr. Winslow." He said sort of tiredly and half heartedly. Hopefully, Mr. Winslow wouldn't be too turned off by such behavior.

"Mister Kasleeve! Always a pleasure, sir. I am quite fine, somewhat tired, but fine. I was awake until sunrise trying to fix a power distribution issue I'm having with an upgrade package for the Crusader Mk III Power Armor that I've been working on. It's really quite bothersome, the new power cells overheat too quickly and require that some armor plating be left off to provide adequate cooling. But I apologize; you didn't come here to listen to me babble about my problems!" Winslow replied with a chuckle, his tone remarkably energetic and cordial for one who had been up so late in the morning. It was likely he had only woken up within the last hour, and had downed almost dangerous amounts of caf in the time that had passed since he had awoken.

Moments after he spoke, his old friend Jacob Roseberg made his appearance, followed mere moments after by Jacob Forsei. He greeted the two in order of their arrival. "Good day, Jacob! And good day to you as well, Mister Forsei! I trust your trip here was distinctly unpleasant and boring, as all business trips that interrupt vacations tend to be." He replied, as he made his way around and seated himself at the head of the table, on the same end that Mister Kasleeve had seated himself at. It would be foolishness to seat himself at the far end, because then he would have to speak up to be heard, and really, sitting away from his employees would send the wrong message.

Dr. Varon had been up all night, and he knew it would affect his contributions to the meeting, but he could not ignore his research, he thought he was near a breakthrough. Then a mess of noises came from a speaker on his wall, it was his young secretary who had forgotten to turn down her music before buzzing him.

"Dr. Varon please don't forget you have a meeting in a few minuets." She said over the loud music.

"Thalia, could you try to remember that your music is on, and turn it off before paging me in the future. Thanks." Zeb said with a smile.

"Sorry Doctor" Thalia said in a gigly tone. Then he heard a click, which meant she had set her Com-Link down.

Zeb sighed, grabbing a towel and wiping the bullets of sweat from his face. He looked in the mirror, and saw that his hair was a mess, and he attempted to fix it, only making it worse.

Zeb waled through the sliding door of her personal lab, and into his office, where he took his suit coat off of a hook, slinging it over his shoulder. He then got on the elevator which was just outside of his office, and rode up three stories to the top floor meeting room. When the doors slid apart, he saw that he was the fourth to arive. Combing a hand through his mess of hair he greeted everyone and sat down, waiting for the meeting to begin.

Arrikazza had never really enjoyed the corporate world, especially the meetings and the paperwork that came with. So why had he chosen to work with Pheonix, while that was simple, they allowed him to blow things up when he wanted, it really helped keep his temper in check. But being a chairman required he show up for these functions, less policy be put in that stopped him from blowing things up.

"Rwwooorrrkssoor eecch" Arri roared out at the security officer who tried to stop him from reaching the elevator. "I work here." his personal translator unit remarked as he flashed a badge that Winslow had provided him.

The security man stepped aside, as Arri was sure he would have even if he didn't have the proper identification, and the wookiee stepped into the elevator heading up to the meeting room. As it came to a stop he slid out, grumbling slightly and waving to all present, he'd always found the less he talked the less upset people got with him, and in turn the less he had to damage their frail forms. He took up a seat that was marked for him, and turned his attention to Winslow, wondering what specifically this meeting had been called for.

"It was rather unpleasant, however, I suppose I signed up for it so I guess I'm the only one to blame. Regardless, good day to you and I hope this meeting does what it needs to do quickly." He said trying to be a little positive about it.

From there, he moved to some seat at the nice table and began waiting till the meeting began. Since he didn't really have that much of a vested interest in what happened, he would at least try to make it go fast unless he did begin to realize some vested interest of his.

More people were coming in, and as they came in, Kasleeve gave them a friendly greeting like he normally would. Many of them would be above him while others would become his associates in this wealthy business. As he watched everything go underway, he ordered the GP-102 droid to prepare some fresh coffee for the group as the droid walked to the back of the room, putting the grounds into the machine as it started to make the hot refreshments for the group.

"It looks like we are about all here. I can sense a great many things will arise from our meeting here, Gentlemen."

Kasleeve mentioned. He was hoping that the three droids he brought along would impress some of his fellow associates. They may not have seemed like much, but these droids were constructed nearly twenty two years ago and have been updated extensively, and there were more to be made for others in need of them.

A low rumble emanated from Arri's throat, followed by some choice words, as he looked at the wall chrono and huffed rather excitedly.

"The master believes we should move forward with this meeting" the translator droid warbled off in a petite monotone voice, an almost absurd sound coming from the hip of a Wookiee, but it was easier than expecting everyone to learn shyriiwook.

[ooc: Sorry for holding us up.]

Winslow gave a brisk nod in agreement to Kasleeve's statement. It appeared everyone was in the room, there was no longer any reason to delay. Especially once Arri's translator droid stated that the wookiee wished to get the meeting started.
"Let's get started then, Gentlemen. We have quite a bit to talk about today, starting with where we intend to take the company. Jacob and I have devised a plan for the future of the Phoenix Corporation. We're going to go on a point-by-point basis, so feel free to ask any questions or voice any concerns you might have after every point has been made." He stated, as he activated the touch-controlled computer screen built into the table in front of his seat, causing it to silently fold upwards, turning itself into a flatscreen monitor.

"Firstly, we want to expand our operations. This will include purchasing another mining facility and increasing the size of the Elysian Fields Industrial Complex by acquiring two adjacent complexes. For the mining facility, we are considering several different locations, such as Gromas 16. A mine there could provide us with a large supply of the metal Phrik, which we could use in armor and weaponry, along with extremely high-durability equipment. By mining and refining our own Phrik, we could dramatically lower our production costs, thus expanding our profit considerably. We do have other locales in mind though, and we welcome any suggestions. Any questions or comments, or shall we move on to the next point in the plan?"

"A Phrik mine of our own would give us the ability to make some of the strongest Cybernetics, and Prosthetics."

Dr. Varon pulled a note pad from his pocket and began scriblin in it. He didn't want to be rude, he just wanted to be sure that he didn't froget that he may soon have a large supply a Phrik to put to good use.
