Dasi continued to force herself along in the surprisingly cramped vents creating more noise then if they had let loose a rancor in the facility. At this rate she was relatively sure the entire facility was just walking below the vent she was in waiting for her to pop out. She was relatively sure that if she had been a day older her montrals would have prevented her from sneaking through the facility. As it was she couldn't even bring her arms alongside her torso, they had to remain out in front of her. Once she got out of here she was never going to enter another vent again as long as she lived. She sensed an opening up ahead and the young Togruta expanded her awareness further, trying to get a read on what was awaiting her ahead.

Below her sat a single man who was staring at the vent opening as she slipped by. He was in a makeshift cell sitting against the wall. He seemed surprisingly calm for someone who had been captured by pirates a few hours ago. He stared at her as she her head reached the opening, a rather grim look in his face until he realized what he was looking at and he chuckled. "Little one, it seems your plan has hit a minor snag." His voice was deep and rich, she felt like she recognized his voice from somewhere. "Tycho Berand, Senator of Ord Tindell. I take it you are the young padawan from our security detail. I had heard we had a young Togruta accompanying us." The sound of footsteps began to reach her ears and she tried to bring her finger to her mouth to shush the old man. "I understand. Hurry, save your master. They wont harm our delegation and if they do it will only further our cause here."

She continued to force herself along, the sounds of the cell door opening behind her and the sound of angry voices behind her then the sound of a blaster going off. She winced, she appeared to have gotten the senator killed. She continued her trip down the vent before arriving at another opening, she sensed four presences below her, she wasn't going to manage this without getting away. A voice confirmed her suspicion. "Come out you kriffing Jedi. Ya got nowhere to go and we got plans for wherever you go next. Now I don't want to shoot you and ruin our bonus, so just pop them hands out, we'll hand you over and you can get up to whatever you want after we get paid." The young togruta sighed as she stuck her hands out the vent and slowly wiggled her way free. She fell to the floor rear first groaning as the impact seemed to travel surprisingly slow up her spine.

She leaned forward slightly, before shifting one foot beneath her to lift herself up without using her hands. She very much did not want to get shot again trying to simply stand up. "You're the damn Jedi? You're shorter then a damn Jawa. Whatever, come on, keep your hands up, lets go." He gestured with his blaster for her to keep moving which she ignored. Continuing to stare ahead. "Are you kriffing kidding me." The pirate brought his hand to his head as he realized the Jedi was blind. "Turn around and start walking Jedi." One of the pirates approached slowly before pushing her shoulder to turn her around. He jabbed her in the back with his blaster and she started walking.

"Docs never gonna live this down. He got bested by a freaking blind girl. Tell me, how'd you do it girl? You sucker punch him? Hit him in his jewels? Are you even a real Jedi? We were ready for a real fight." The pirates were chuckling now. Clearly far more comfortable now that they had the "Jedi" in custody. Dasi decided it was probably best to keep travelling with them. At this range they wouldn't miss. As they continued down the corridor she could sense unease up ahead. All of a sudden she didn't want to keep moving. She tried to slow down but a pirate jabbed her in the back again. She had the impression if she got to that source she would not enjoy it.

The young padawan decided that she could not keep allowing these nice men to dictate where they were going. She reached out with the force and gave a slight nudge to the foot of one of the men escorting her. She winced as she sensed him fall into a wall before hitting the ground. The group stopped as he struggled to get to his feet, the one with the blaster pointed at her back turned and she set her plan into motion. "Damn it, watch where you're stepping. We ha-" The young Jedi was performing a back flip over the one behind her as soon as the mans attention was turned away from her. As she approached the ground she tried to reach out with the force to provide another nudge but struggled to put the two techniques together. She opted to run full speed away before they could recover. There was no way she was going into that hangar.

Narrowing her eyes as she watched the approach of another Sith enter the fray, delegating to his minions the task of securing the Jedi and overall interrupting the arrangements that had been set in place by Wolfgang. Her unseen chestnut hued eyes, intently observing and scrutinising the actions of this interloper, watching from behind her mask Ceryx's brow furrowed as the new interloper removed his mask and revealed himself to be one of the Sith she and Korsak had encountered on Korriban several years prior - back when she were but a fledgling Guardian trying to integrate herself into the wider Order of the Eternal's ranks.

A mixture of curiosity and suspicion ran through the Sith's thoughts, all of them surrounding Gale. Where had he disappeared to after all this time, and why of all places and times, had he elected to make an unannounced appearance in the middle of a transaction that had been arranged by Wolfgang, that very few were privy to the knowledge of it taking place. Still for the moment she would observe, keeping her mind open to the Force - remaining on guard until the wayward Sith's actions and intent could be make clear, he was a perceived risk - especially with such a thinly veiled threat as to the purpose of his guards. Posing as an ally yet to then in the next breath state that should he be threatened he would turn his guards on the two Sith.

"Respectfully I will stay here, if you have a proposal then you can voice it here" Ceryx, spoke out in response to the offer to retreat to Gale's ship for drinks and to hear the man's proposal, although her voice being distorted by the mask, it still carried a finality to her words. Her attention moved away from Gale and over the approaching Zabrak who Wolfgang had seemingly employed to undertake the hijacking, before listening to the exchange over whether they were to inspect the ship first of the Jedi.

Nodding in agreement with Wolfgang, to the priority being placed on the Jedi being seen to first. The female Sith gestured her hand towards the hovering medical droid that she had summoned out of the ship prior to her counterpart summoning his own contingent of droids and guards. "If you can bring the captured Jedi, then this droid will see to administering their continued treatment"

// I'll be using this account for DMing and RPing unconscious Kori, because I can't access The Storyteller for now. //

The sudden squabble between the alleged buyers caught the raiders by surprise. Their weapons were now at the ready, but not trained at their guests just yet. It would appear that the arrivals had different ideas on how to proceed. Fortunately, the solution presented itself in the form of metal briefcase. The Zabrak quickly concluded that the guy with the money was the one worth listening to. "You got that right," he grumbled, casting a quick glance at Gale and his red-armored guards, before returning the attention to the moneyman: "That purple schutta has a high tolerance, and we're going through meds faster than expected."

The woman accompanying the client had requested that the Jedi were brought before her. "I'll need your droid to come with me then. Our medical stuff ain't movable, and unplugging the Jedi might wake them up early." He gestured towards Ceryx and Wolfgang, continuing in a rasp voice: "You two can come with me... Or wait here until I bring you the Jedi, your choice. My guys can look after your ships and your friend in the meantime, make sure we all play nice here. Sort your differences elsewhere." The last thin their boss needed was a fight at the base. Not when the raiders needed to get the Jedi off their hands as soon as possible.

Whoever followed would be brought to the prison cell with one of the Jedi. Otherwise, it would take a while for the Zabrak to return; hopefully with the gurney and the medical droid attached to the incapacitated Zeltron. However, his four associates with blaster rifles would remain in the hangar. After all, what could a young blind Togruta do to a bunch of adult armed guards on patrol?

...

Apparently, a young blind Togruta could cause a commotion and try to run at the speed faster than any of the armed guards would've expected. The guard did manage to recover and shoot his blaster down the corridor, aiming at Dasi's back. If she ran at a straight line, the stun bolt would inevitably catch up to her.

OOC: This is an opportunity for Dasi to get knocked out and captured by the Sith, if @darkrei9n wants to go down that route. If not, then carry on.

Naturally, the sounds of shooting would be heard in the hangar and nearby, by the Sith, the Zabrak, the guards, other intruders alike. The Zabrak (and anyone who chose to accompany him) would arrive to the scene half-a-minute afterwards. Before the guards could report, he'd interrupt them with the angry: "The kriff are you doing?! Go get the job done." He wouldn't have a word from them. After all, the guests didn't need to know that the Jedi had escaped. Regardless, the Zabrak would continue leading anyone coming with him towards their destination.

If she weren't knocked out, Dasi's path would take her farther away from the Sith, most of the pirates, and even the Zeltron. A narrow corridor branching from the main passage. Multiple small rooms by each side. Multiple echoes of life in each. Pulsation of energy in the doorways. Surprised whispers full of hope and fear. Another room just down that corridor branch, with one presence inside. None of those presences would be Force-sensitive; but there was something tugging the young Togruta towards that room, that could very well be a dead end.

However, before Dasi could investigate things further, a familiar voice of a middle-aged woman whispered from the corridor:"Padawan Vemm? How'd you get... Doesn't matter! There's an armory down this corridor. I think your lightsabers are in there. They said something about taking them to the boss..." As if to illustrate the words, the presence on the other side headed towards the door. With the guards probably not too far behind, Dasi would have to be quick on her feet to retrieve the weapons and free the captives.

...

So far, the guards had been completely oblivious to Jago's presence. His Matukai techniques had allowed him to get into the facility and move around it undetected. If the Nautolan continued to the hangar as intended, she'd end up entering it from the opposite side, just as the Zabrak enforcer had left with any Sith who would accompany him.

The hangar had been spacious enough to house the captured yacht, the Bident corvette that had captured it, as well as plethora of smaller craft, such as the vessels of the arriving Sith. The Starblazer yacht was the farthest, but also the largest, seen from any part of the hangar. If the Nautolan still had any doubt, now it would be dispelled. Deliver this information to the right people, and a full-on crackdown on this pirate den wouldn't take long.

If Jago wanted to remain hidden, he'd have plenty of containers between himself and the yacht to hide behind. The pirates hadn't wasted time offloading anything they could move and sell afterwards. Even the VCX Auxiliary pinnace and the two TIE Hunter fighters from the yacht's hangar had been moved to that hangar. Let alone the various "ugly" ships and a couple of pirate freighters that were parked there.

Most of the guards seemed to be on the lookuot for the escaped Togruta. The pirates' time was limited, and they only had their Sith guests to be concerned about. That's why they weren't even bothered that some parts of the hangar were left unattended by the guards for now. That was something Jago could use to his advantage when he planned his next move.

@darkrei9n, @Aurius, @Topher, @Mr. Teatime, @Topher Ridge

I think that this posting order would be the best: Dasi's fate gets determined, Gale's reaction determines what happens in the hangar, Jago sees the situation and gets to decide what to do. E.g., if Dasi gets captured, and a fight ensues in the hangar, Jago might as well try to retrieve the sabers and rescue the prisoners. Or whatever actually happens.

But feel free to post in any order, whenever you have the time.

”Harm my guards and we will have more than words. And I’ll End it before you have a chance to give your next command. You two, stay here and keep an eye on this one. I’m here to collect my wealth from Vasser personally.”

That was the only warning. His guards didn’t pass, not without a motion from Gale himself, but the didn’t relax either. Nor would they until blasters started lowering. But they also didn’t seem to be preparing to attack. Their discipline was something these Guavian savages could learn a thing or two from. Vahla changed, however, when they entered combat - his species despised violence as much as they once worshiped it, and fought to end the fight as quickly as possible. The result were formidable warriors of calm icy temperament.

“Good! While your apprentice collects your prize? He’s a little too abrasive to have survived under my tutelage. An intriguing choice.”

Gale was still smiling almost ear to ear. It was genuine though, but not for the reasons the sorceress nor her barbarian would yet understand. Make life easier for him by bringing the Jedi here? Here was a perfectly good lightsaber around his waist. His halberd and blaster were just as formidable in his hands. The Vahlan Sorcerer was, as always, undeterred. Now to drop the big surprise, the ultimate reveal, but who was being misdirected?

The sound of blaster fire echoed across the corridor as Dasi managed to turn the corner just in time. She didn't stop there however, she needed to lose the pirates and she had a significant advantage over the pirates. She turned down another corridor where she couldn't sense the presence of her pursuers and took a moment to take a breath when a voice from the room behind her spoke up. She thought she remembered it, their benefactor for the trip, the CFO she and her master had been assigned to protect. "Mrs. Vasser? Hang on, I'll try to get my lightsaber and come back." With that the young Togruta was once again running down the corridor, a new goal in mind. She heard the sound of footsteps behind her once again, it seems her pursuers had found her.

She continued to run down the hallways, trying to reach out with the force to find any room that appeared to be an armory. She was having issues trying not to focus on the people pursuing her however. Running through an unknown facility with people who wanted to shoot her and trying to maintain awareness of what was coming up while trying to keep an idea of where lifeforms were was stretching her concentration. The young Jedi stopped after turning down another corridor to catch her breath.

The young padawan learner took the moment to try and figure out her path. She once again reached out with the force trying to locate the familiar presence of her own lightsaber. She was now worried, something about the facility was now filling her with unease. She needed to hurry, to find Master Tallis and free the captives. Her awareness came across a room where she sensed the familiar presence of her lightsaber. Plan in mind she began to run through the corridors of the facility, goal in mind.

It began to feel a bit too easy to move through the facility. Though from what he overhead from the guards he could assume they were on the look out for the younger jedi. He pushed himself up against the wall of the corridor as he saw light come from ahead of him. The Matukai carefully peeked out, he'd made it to hangar, beyond was a simple catwalk that spanned the above and across over the various gathered ships. He carefully made his way onto the catwalk, and began to casually walk across. He hoped to simply look like he belonged if anybody from below saw him up here.

The hangar down below was a mess from what Jago could tell, typical of pirates he supposed. It didn't take long for him to see what he needed, a very fancy ship sat off to the side in the hangar. Well there was no doubt now, there was no other reason for that ship to be here except that it belonged to the abducted business folk.

With that his focus turned toward finding the missing Jedi and said business folks. A way down presented itself in the form of several large cargo containers. They were high enough for him to silently jump down onto and make his way to the hangar floor. As soon as he hit the floor however he heard blaster fire in a corridor near by. He peeked around the crates and saw several pirates chasing after something. He moved to follow, but other pirates moved to the door to guard it. Damn, if he revealed himself now he just be found. He felt something as the commotion kicked up as well, the unmistakable stink of the Darkside near by. He looked around the other side of the crate and stayed low, he caught sight of several figures outside the hangar. From here he couldn't make out many features, but they were the undoubted source of the of the stink.

He carefully made his way toward the sound of the blasters shots, for now he'd stay hidden. He felt that things were about to kick off properly and he wanted to get as good a position as possible beforehand.

The blonde could feel her features furrow, the flesh of her brow compressing against the inner metal lining of her mask at the revelation aired by the hired raider boss. The Purple Jedi, well if the suspicions that formed in her mind were to be correct, then this would make for an interesting intersection of their respective paths once again. But then again, in a Galaxy of infinite probabilities - it was high odds that this Jedi would be the one she had previously encountered. Though perhaps it was to be the cruel irony of the machinations of the Force and it's various disembodied influences that affected its will!

Nodding in acceptance of the request made by the Zabrak, Ceryx motioned for the droid to move towards the group of raiders that they were conducting the business with. "That will be fine" the female Sith spoke, as the droid hovered its way to the rear of the raider group. "If in the mean time your men can escort this droid, then it will see to the Jedi's care in preparation of the transfer" she added as she returned her attention back to the Zabrak, before nodding to his comment regarding the settlement of the tension that was building in and around the unannounced arrival of Gale and his guards.

Speaking of which. "I would advise caution to your words" Ceryx spoke, as her masked gaze moved towards the Vahla, her words stoic and devoid of any emotion and remaining neutral in tone. "You cite that you are unexpectedly here to assist, yet you threaten and demean one of your allies" the female Sith continued, as she gestured towards Wolfgang beside her before she returned to her passive stance. "If your quarry regarding Vassar, concerns the debt that is owed, then once the information that we seek has been acquired, then she will be brought to you to facilitate the re-imbursement. Until then I suggest that you allow us to conclude our business here swiftly" Ceryx concluded, before taking a deep breath and reading and reaching out into the currents of the Force flowing from those around her.

Her eyes narrowing as they phased into a unseen milky white hue, sensing that it was not just the Vahla and his two guards that were the unannounced and unknown elements at play here. She could sense the presence of others, one weaker and young in the Force - actively reaching out with the currents, with a faint ripple resonating back further within the compound. Then there was another, not yet fully within the confines of the Raider's facilities, but still moving about seemingly un hindered by the resident raiders yet they bore a similar bias to the light.

Ceryx's masked visage, moved back towards the Zabrak Raider before being directed to Wolfgang. "Shall we see this transaction to it's conclusion?" she enquired, as her head cocked to the side a little. "I suspect that there are more unannounced visitors to this facility" she revealed, before her gaze was directed back towards the Vahla. "Perhaps, if you are here to assist, you would care to direct your companions to support our hosts" Ceryx enquired, as she raised her hand to gesture towards the two Vahl guards.

The Guavian soldiers notably did not lower their weapons. In fact, they barely moved, their cybernetic limbs unnaturally still, each Ember guard sighted in and ready in case the Ember guards so much as twitched the wrong way. More machine than man, the soldiers followed their orders. If the Vahla weren't tagged as allies they were potential threats, plain and simple. It was clear they weren't welcome.

The fact was, this new Sith arrival was not one of the people told about the plans to capture the Jedi and the businesswoman. He was interfering in Wolfgang's business, business he should not even be aware of in the first place. On top of which he'd immediately attempted to throw his proverbial weight around upon his arrival, acting as if he owned the place and being quite rude to everyone involved. Typical Sith arrogance in a way, but this loud-mouth human was pushing it.

"I don't care why you are here, and I'm afraid I don't count pompous blowhards among my allies," Wolfgang paused, helmeted head moving slightly. His sharp ears picked up the clear sound of blaster fire, rather nearby even. Practically down the hall from the Hangar, it sounded like. How very troublesome. It would seem the raiders were having a little trouble, presumably with their prisoners from the surge of the Force that came from the same direction.

"We shall, Ceryx," the man replied, one of his Viper probe droids chittering a series of beeps through their comm line. While they weren't exactly formidable combatants there was a reason Wolfgang used them as sentries. Their array of sensor equipment made them excellent mechanical watchdogs. While @Jago Haaldin moving across the catwalk hadn't been anything their protocols took much note of, his jumping down from the catwalks across some containers certainly drew their attention- which was something they informed their master of. "And I do believe you are correct," he finished, the rightmost prove droid floating away from the entrance to Wolfgang's ship.

It rapidly hovered it's way up and over to the series of cargo containers the hidden Matukai was sneaking around, trying to track down the motion presence it was picking up. This was one of those situations where one could hide, but they cannot run.

Finally the arguments were settled, and the Zabrak could head for the prisoner, Ceryx's medical droid in tow. His return wouldn't be momentary though. After all, the Togruta remained at large, and the Zabrak was reluctant to show up in front of the buyers with only one Jedi. For the time being, he headed towards Nykoria's cell alone. He'd also need to hook up the medical droid ("I hope we haven't run out of meds yet!") and bring the gurney back to the hangar. Both actions would take some time.

Meanwhile, the 4 guards remained in the hangar to ensure that a shootout wouldn't ensue. However, two of them would return to the facility shortly afterwards, after receiving a message on the comms. Something was up.

...

At the end of the corridor, Dasi would find a doorway. As the Force would have it, the doors would open right in front of the blind Togruta. It wasn't supposed to be a good thing though. A Nikto guard stood facing her; lightsabers in his left hand, a holstered pistol on his right hip, and an expression of surprise on his wrinkly brown face.

"The kriff?!" after a moment of surprise, his right hand reached towards the holster, unbuttoning it; his intention to draw on the Togruta, set the pistol to stun, and knock her out. Meanwhile, Dasi's pursuers were still a little behind, but the sound of the upcoming gunshot would no doubt attract them.

...

Although Jago wouldn't be bothered by the facility's guards for now, his had other problems. Mainly in the form of the Sith and their probe droids. How the Nautolan handled that was up to him. Retreat through another hangar entrance into the facility probably remained an option. But so was confrontation or any other scenario Jago could come up with.

Gale in the end didn’t really care. He wasn’t even offended at all. This was the type of Sith destined to die a quick and painful fiery death. And if this continues at its present course - it seemed his life would come to an end very quickly.

Reaching out as the boy uttered the words pompous, and began constricting not his throat but the air around his head. Making it thin, difficult for even the most experienced lungs could not help but cough and groan in pain. Both Paladins leapt into action, dodging to and fro and firing while advancing to keep the Guavians occupied. They’d use the cyborgs as meat shields and cover with the halberd’s hook - techniques unchanged and meant for taking down Force sensitives.

“...Kriff it.”

Turning to the other, obviously one who would survive far longer in their little individual menagerie of dark side lunatics. For his part, Gale had arrived as nothing more than a sycophant to the boy and his Master. There was no real reason for them not to trust him - even with his entry being as dramatic as it was. Gale was right in the sense that he doubted neither Sith nor Jedi would bother wasting time on either of them. They were no real threat, not to him - but to the ones he was here to rescue, and that was unacceptable. The Mantis whirred to life as R3-Z4 began the powering sequence.

He shifted his focus to seizing the Sith Master’s saber with a pull, crackled to life and leveled at the woman’s neck.

“Make a move - and one of you dies.”

Dasi didn't hesitate as the Nikto seemingly suddenly appeared in front of her. She rushed in and grabbed the Nikto's gun arm as it was raising up to aim at her and wrenched down forcing the blaster to aim at his own foot. The sound of a stun blast echoed throughout the room and the outside hallway. The Nikto dropped the blaster and forced his arm out of her grasp, pushing the lightweight Togruta to the ground. She groaned as her head slammed against the ground.

The Nikto chuckled as he reached down to his blaster and Dasi reacted. She reached out with the force to pull it to her outstretched hand and fired at the Nikto. She didn't hesitate to fire again and again until the Nikto finally fell over. She groaned as she got back on her feet and grabbed her lightsaber. She clipped Master Tallis's lightsaber to her belt before turning to face the exit smiling.

She stepped out of the room and activated her lightsaber, turning to face the thugs who had been chasing her and let out a very un-Jedi like smile. She dropped into a combat stance and raised her hand towards them, gesturing for them to bring it.

The blaster fire seemed to recede down the hall that lead away from the hangar. Jago finally let go, if it was the younger Jedi the guards had mentioned earlier she may need help. Their chances of survival were also much better if they could form up and find Kori and the hostages as a team. So as the blaster shots receded Jago would allow the force to flow through him, the energy of the light like veins in his being. He was still detectable by other users of the force, but it would give off it's own unique signature. He handsprung over the waist high box he was hiding behind and sprinted for the corridor that the blaster fire had come from.

2 guards made their way back from the hallway and only had a moment to even notice the green and blue blur that was Jago. The pirate to his right would receive and quick and powerful punch to the jaw before he could even react. The other criminal faired a bit better and went for a swipe with the butt of his blaster rifle as his companion fell to the duracrete floor. Jago was ready and countered with a simple straight kick to the sternum, with a bit of extra force from the light that sent the pirate back several feet to slam hard into the frame of the hall entrance. The exchange had only lasted a moment and barely broke the Matukai's stride as he continued to dash down the corridor.

As he ran Jago saw several pirates sprint down a side corridor, and figured that was most likely the way the padawan went. He followed behind and as he ran he noticed what looked like cells that lined the walls. He could see various beings within and assumed that these were the hostages from ship. He noted the location in the mental map he was forming and continued after the pirates. Good now he needed to hook up with the Jedi and they could begin to find a way to extract the hostages.

Soon after he noticed the guards he'd trailed after had stopped and had blasters aimed down another corridor, and then he heard the familiar snap-hiss of a lightsaber being activated and he smiled. Jago decided to take advantage of the provided distraction and as he ran he leapt and planted his hands on the shoulders of the first guard and struck out with both feet to slam the other guard with a devastating drop kick. He then clutched the armored vest of the first guard and twisted in the air. As Jago landed he used his momentum and applied spin with his arms to throw the guard spiraling into the adjacent wall with a crack. He turned to Dasi and smiled, "Well I was sent to help you guys out, but looks like you've got things handled, Imma head out yeah?"

Midway through his speaking, the interloper Sith (@Aurius ) raised his hand and began to focus the Force in his direction, trying to do something or other around his head. Wolfgang couldn't speak for his companion, but this was certainly no surprise to him. He'd been suspicious since the first appearance of his ship and he'd been looking forward to when he finally decided to do something.

This one certainly had the sheer arrogance typical of the Sith, that much was certain. The interloper's attempt at manipulation came in and Wolfgang's right hand rose up, waving and denying it's hold on his personal space. He didn't bother continuing his statement, since the purpose of it had been to lure Gale into acting rashly. Arrogant, but not very clever.

While the guards in the background traded fire and found cover, Wolfgang had other ideas. Immediately after dispelling Gale's offense his gloved hand moved forward and unleashed a torrent of burning flame toward his torso while his focus was shifting to Ceryx and her lightsaber, dropping the briefcase and drawing a lightsaber with the other hand. A direct hit should be enough to cause severe injury, though he wouldn't keep the stream up long. No need to waste energy.

By his estimation, a traitor was more useful than a Jedi anyway. At the least it would be more fun. Besides, the intruder his probe were tracking was paying no mind to the new fight in the hangar. Plenty of time.

So that was the way it was to be. All suspicions surrounding the wayward Sith, Gale's actions were ultimately to be well seated. His unannounced arrival, his thinly veiled threats being uttered in the same sentence of his claims that he was here to help. All of it, was nothing but a pack of lies, lies that were exposed by the action of him reaching out in an attempt to manipulate the Force around Wolfgang. Squabbling amongst Sith was one thing, but to openly attack another in the middle of a venture that would be beneficial for the Sith Order, would only mean one thing. Treachery!

As Gale's focus was directed towards the manipulation of the Force around Wolfgang, Ceryx withdrew her lightsaber, holding it prone and ready to ignite should she need to raise a defence with one hand, whilst the other hand raised up, manipulating the energies that lay around Gale. It seemed that she had the same intentions as Wolfgang, as whilst a torrent of burning flame was projected from her counterpart - a wall of fire erupted into life behind the treacherous snake that moved in from his flank, closing in on his sides. Their combined torrents of fire would threaten to surround and engulf the interloper in a firestorm.

It was with that release of the Force, that Ceryx allowed her building annoyance and rage seep into the dark side, whilst for this encounter so far her mind had been open to the Force, reading the currents that flowed around the room and it's unannounced participants. Allowing a cold foreboding presence to radiate around her from the moment she had stepped off of Wolfgang's ship, now that dark presence hung in the air like an oppressive miasma, almost seemingly darkening the hanger under the thick weight of the dark side.

With one hand, the Vahla maintained the oxygen bubble despite his enemy’s attempt to dispel it. If the flames launched, his face and neck would engulf like a helium balloon. A sidestep brought the halberd spinning down on the woman’s saber hand - aiming to pin it to the ground.

A halberd, though used with two hands, was weighted to be swung with one as necessary. However, in this circumstance the spin would facilitate a two handed downward piking attack.

His spin would bring him over and away from the flames, allowing him to dive for cover. Still, too close for comfort.

The Nikto didn't expect a blind "Jedi rookie" to be as feisty. A mistake he could sleep on, quite literally. Dasi's stunt—and especially her taunting gesture—did leave the pirates momentarily distracted. They had expected a running Togruta kid, not a confident Jedi. That momentary distraction had allowed Jago to enact his plan on the unsuspecting grunts.

But the rescuer and the rescued weren't out of the woods yet: the prisoners were still in their cells, and Master Tallis was nowhere to be found yet. To top it off, the alarm sirens kicked in, and rapid footsteps indicated that at least 4 more guards were on their way. Armed with E-11D rifles and wearing trooper armor, these guards were not to be trifled with.

...

A fight has erupted in the hangar. The two raiders that remained in there were wiser than to get involved in "Jedi-or-whatever-the-kark" duking it out with each other. For a while, the Sith were free to do as they pleased. However, it wouldn't be too long before the alarms would start blazing throughout the entire facility. Something was going on, though it remained up to each individual's perception how much of that "something" they'd catch through the Force.

...

"Kark!" The indicators on the local medical console were in the red areas. The Zeltron was receiving a dosage much smaller than optimal for her two livers. Had the guests stalled the Zabrak a little longer, he could've very well walked into the room with an awoken and angry Jedi.

But as it was, the medical droid hooked up to the unconscious Jedi Master with no issue. After making sure that was the case, the Zabrak finally removed the needles of stationary equipment from the prisoner. Kori's purple fingers twitched in response, but other than that, she was still asleep and couldn't wake up.

As much as the Zabrak tried to postpone it, it was time to deliver one Jedi (instead of the promised two) to the buyer. Reluctantly, he pushed the gurney into the corridor, trying to come up with the explanation where the other Jedi was. The roaring alarm and the sounds of battle ahead caught him in the corridor. Getting the E-11D off his shoulder, the Zabrak kept moving: rifle in one hand, while the other was pushing the gurney.

...

Somewhere at the command center

"State your business," Zalara Nerys, the Twi'lek leader of the raiders, was having a bad day. First the envoys were taking too long to arrive, and treated her like some space trash. And now... A strange CR90 corvette had arrived and was hailing the station. A part of her already knew what she was in for, but Zalara had the stranger put on screen nonetheless. She had to keep up appearances.

Alas, the video feed offered only static. But the voice was pretty clear: "This is patrol ship Ardent Fire of Fondor Defense Authority. We are looking for a missing vessel called the Starblazer. Its location has been tracked to your station. Disable your weapons and prepare for an inspection. Resistance is inadvisable." Of course, what was Zalara expecting? When ships of rich corporate executives were missing, local governments had to take note. And the tracker on the Starblazer had left a trail to follow. If only the buyers had shown up a day ago and buggered off with the yacht...

"Kark Fondor Defense Authority, and kark you in particular!" She slammed the button, shutting down the transmission. A deep breath to calm down. One last look at the monitors that showed the status of her base. Grim determination in her voice: "Arm all turbolasers, get the Wrecker spaceborne! Evacuate whatever you can to the Starblazer. And get that kriffing tracker offline once we're on board!"

A fast corvette usually meant that a star destroyer wasn't far behind. She was about to lose the base, one way or another; something Zalara feared to admit ever since she had found out about the tracker. Now the choice was made for her, and all she could do was make it go out in a blaze of glory. Her only regret was that she had ordered to offload the cargo from the yacht. But perhaps she could get all her crew aboard that way.

"Oh, and... Kill the prisoners when you go through the cells to the Starblazer." Another deep breath. A pat on the two Peacemakers holstered on the hips. A BD-2 electrostaff split into two batons behind her back for up-close clash with the Jedi. And a neuronic whip for something more personal. Those kriffards would regret having that tracking beacon installed on that karkin' yacht.

The interloper was persistent in trying to keep manipulating the air in his person space, which meant Wolfgang maintained his own denial instead of launching the flames at all. Instead he stepped forward with his left foot intending to wield his blade if the other one was going to focus on the Force.

Then the interloper leapt and spun forward, dropping his focus to instead attack Ceryx. Wolfgang moved quickly to intercept, the lightsaber already in his left hang swinging up at a diagonal angle and suddenly doubling in length to two meters as he activated the dual-phase function, crimson plasma coming in between Gale and Ceryx. It came under the interloper's swing from the side while he was still moving forward to take advantage of his lack of proper guard, targeting the lower torso with intent to bisect.

He was sure Ceryx would be able to handle herself just fine. She seemed capable.

As the Nautolan seemingly appeared from nowhere to deal with two guards Dasi made her move. She leaned to avoid a blaster bolt and stepped in, bringing her lightsaber up to slice the blaster in two. She rolled in towards the second guard, dipping below his attempts at eliminating the young Togruta once again bringing her lightsaber up to destroy his weapon. She smiled, before taunting the now disarmed pirates. "Run." The two pirates she dealt with panicked to get away from the young Jedi and her lightsaber. Dasi turned to face the Nautolan, who was apparently throwing around the other two guards like they were nothing. She wished she was tall enough or even had enough weight to deal with people like that. She didn't recognize him, but deactivated the blade, placing it back on her belt.

"Master Tallis still needs help. The VIPs still need to be freed as well. We need a plan." Dasi grabbed her forehead. To many options, did they save Master Tallis first or did they go free the delegation? If they saved the delegation they would have to protect them for the rest of the day. She looked to the Nautolan. "I don't know what to do." Now that she had no clear goal in mind she was completely lost. She could sense darkness from the hangar, she felt out with the force trying to find Master Tallis somewhere in the facility. Maybe she was closer, or maybe she would be able to come up with a proper plan. She began pacing, not even thinking about it. So many people in trouble, not enough time.

Gale it would seem would continue his intent and focus of the Force in manipulating the air around Wolfgang's head, before side stepping away from the two Sith. The motion of the Vhal's movements allowing for his halberd weapon to fall under it's weight, swung with one hand into a downward arc towards her saber wielding side.

As the wall of fire closed in on Gale, and the bladed end of the Halberd descended towards her side, Ceryx would purposefully sidestep clear of the Halberd's reach, her body in the same motion adjusting so that she was facing the traitor in a side profile with her Saber arm forward, purposefully reducing the exposed area available to the weapon's reach.

As the masked female manoeuvred out of the path of the Halberd, the closing in wall of fire that was encircling Gale dissipated as suddenly as they appeared. Ceryx's manipulated energies phased into darkened tendrils of the Force that would reach out like a swarm of Sarlacc tentacles, that would latch onto and grip the traitor's limbs and pull them taught to the man's sides, as if he were being crucified on a St-Andrew's cross, holding him in place for Wolfgang to land his attack.

The halberd’s hook landed onto the ground, missing Ceryx’s hand even as she moved back to avoid the strike. His intention had been to impale her weapon, but a halberd had multiple venues of attack at this distance. The halberd’s unbladed (spiked) end, arched diagonally from left to right with the sweep, allowing Gale to block the man’s attack - soon as it hit the ground it became a defensive tool, with coincided with the swing - intercepting at the point of just before contact.

Not this time.

Gale didn’t even need to rotate himself. The flames would scorch at worst but the armor he wore could protect against such an attack. The halberd’s hook swept at the feet of the woman, hooking her left leg with the barb as she retreated. The Sith would trip herself, he wouldn’t have to do a thing. It was doubtful it would be painless, a laceration on the left heel and possibly shattering the bone if the Vahla elected to twist. And that wasn’t even considering the fact it was an electro-halberd.

Energized polearms had a full blocking length, and are capable of being used from both the false and true edge - something a lightsaber lacked. Simply shifting his hands inwards was enough to avoid a close proximity strike, even against precision weapons like daggers. An axe or hammer could break it, a sword could bind up underneath it - but the saber was locked magnetically to it.

Releasing his right hand, now in close proximity to the boy, Gale delivered a close-fist throat strike directly at his neck, kinetically amplifying his strike with the intention of debilitation. It wouldn’t kill, but even if the kinetics didn’t work a throat punch of this force would stun and cause a temporary sense of panic and choking to his brain. Humanoids, no matter how evolved, where bound by the subconscious to react to such a pressure on the neck. It was in their nature.

@Topher @Mr. Teatime - Y’all will want to discuss this. If clarification is needed somewhere I’ll do my best to explain. No matter what happens here, I’d have your chars leaving, and leaving in one piece. Felt I should clarify my position.
