The bone chilling dark waters crashed on the rocks and sheer cliff walls all around them. Fog rolled over the cliff's edge above, beginning to slither it's way down the cracks and crevasses to the water below. Castsu Shan stood on a sizable rock outcropping several meters from what was know the be the entrance to the Bal'demnic Sith Temple.

Castus had come here years prior, during his own training as one of the Legion. It was the only place he knew of to find crystals with little effort or risk of running into rival Jedi. So far as the human Sith was aware, none knew of this place but fellow members of the Sith Order. However Castus was unaware of the significance of the place to Jez. As it was also once the home of the Knights of Ren.

He was in a dressed in black robes with red trim. His belt and harness over his robes, carrying the tools of his trade. Including his lightsaber. Beside him stood Jez. A weak minded force user who'd lost her way. He brought her to his dark place to recover something important to all warriors of the force, Both of dark and of the light. A lightsaber.

In front of the two Sith was a young twi'lek female. An innocent. The woman would be vital to the ritual of opening this place to the two dark siders. He could feel the woman's sorrow, her fear. She didn't want to die in this place, or any other place for that matter. Turning his hand into a claw, Castus call on the dark side to clutch the woman's neck and forced her to kneel over the runes that marked the stone the two sith stood on.

"Did you bring a weapon apprentice ?" He asked Jez, still looking in the direction of his prisoner.

What horrors would await her? What fears and demons would come screaming out from the black? What peril would she find herself conquering? These are the thoughts Jez Winters was thinking to herself as her and her (new) master were making their way to Bal'demnic. Rumored to be where the Knights of Ren formed their bonds, Jez felt like a part of her was coming home. Her master (before he died) had been training Jez to be a Ren. He even insisted on her calling herself Xetno Ren, while wearing an armor inspired by Sith Inquisitors of old. Jez thought about asking Master Castus why he was no longer asking her to do this, but kept her silence. Her rational brain told her that when they got to the temple her initiation would resume.

The air was cold here and Jez was not prepared for that. She'd only recently been allowing the Force to commune with her again so she was shaky when it came to calling on its aid. Her own stubbornness refused to allow a change of outfits, but she did at least bring a cloak. With her arms crossed over her scandalous and not very functional armor, Jez followed behind her master...and his prize.

The Twi'lek girl was scared to death and pleaded for them to spare her. Jez ignored her cries. Her master would bring the girl to the rune where it was required blood to be offered. Not theirs of course, but an innocent. According to legend it was meant for Jedi. A Sith and his apprentice were to capture a Jedi and use their blood for the ritual. But as it turned out any old blood would do.

Reaching into a sheath at her side Jez brought forth a dagger carved with wicked runes of its own. It was a Sith dagger. Nothing special. Nothing magically. Just something to inspire fear. "Yes master. I am ready."

And with that, she moved over to the woman and placed the dagger's jagged edge to her neck. The cut would not be quick, or painless. The Twi'lek would die painfully.
