DESCRIPTION
Force weapon is a versatile technique that involves channeling the energies of the Force into the user's weapon. In its simplest form, individuals channel the Force into a benign object - such as a wooden staff - in order to reinforce it so that it could withstand strikes even against lightsabers. Reinforcement like this was easy to use and maintain, though it took several seconds to modify the weapon.

A second way to use the ability was to channel other Force powers into a lightsaber itself. This could be used to send other Force abilities such as lightning or blasts of telekinesis through the blade of a lightsaber. The user could then direct the energy out of the saber and into an opponent to supplement a strike. Because this required the user to use two different Force powers at once, it required the concentration on both the attacking power (such as lightning or telekinesis) as well as the reinforcement of the lightsaber.

Finally, it could be used to deflect Force powers from other Force sensitives. This was most commonly seen by those defending themselves against Sith lightning. It could be used to deflect the lightning into another individual as seen above or into a loop against the attacker if they are close enough.

Force Weapon is not without its drawbacks. Reinforcing a weapon alone wasn't very tiring, but redirecting lightning for a prolonged period of time could be draining on one's stamina. Additionally, its effect was not instantaneous. It takes several seconds for a weapon to become fully reinforced, so it is generally recommended to prepare the tool/weapon before the first blows are struck. Force Weapon cannot be used to reinforce pieces of armor.

INTENT
To flesh out Force powers to comply with the site's new rules without a level system. This is a guideline and should not be used for rule lawyering.
