The third part of the takeover of Malastare—the last seed Demolly needed planted—required two more Sith. She'd reached out to Wolfgang, who'd she'd gone on a lucrative mission with before. His mind and wit was sharp, and he was combat poised. She trusted he could get the job done, just like she trusted Ender.

The other Sith she did not know, but she'd soon learn about by how she did. She was, at least, willing to help. All Demolly really needed was willing for a mission like this. Wolfgang could take point if need be.

She'd sent a message out to both. Their mission was to find out if any of the ruling Malastare family's were strongly against the Sith. They'd have to seek out and kill them. They didn't need to manipulate them, they could just kill them off and let a more supportive member take over. At least, one that was afraid enough that they wouldn't outwardly speak against the Sith. If they needed any help, they could call on the Children of Alkis, Demolly's cult. They had war droids at their disposal too, if need be. It was possible that Demolly's assets would be used for this mission, so she expected some losses.

Unlike many of the brutes that loved to dominate amongst the Sith Eternal, Brielle's own preferred style of mannerism was decidedly different. True, Demolly had a certain reputation about her, but again, it was brutish, mildly sexy, and overall almost predicably... black.

So when she received the calling, covert was still in the name of the game. She just didn't have to be so Cadre-centric about it. Deep red, a singular piece from the hood over her head, to the mask that concealed the lower portion of her face. A body-hugging, slender svelte line from fingertips to toes, it would have seemed a dress, however when she moved, it revealed in fact a split skirt. Long dark hair was braided and slung over one shoulder; though she seemed unarmed, one would not be fooled, a lady always came prepared.

It seemed great minds thought alike. She, too, was seeking to depose less favorable voices raised in the galactic large; so she would wait alone in her ship, some distance away from the targets in question. After all, removing troublesome leaders was good, was it not? Especially for their own brand of calling...

This would at least prove a less-than-disappointing venture. Hopefully.

Admittedly Izel found the vistas of Malastare just plain depressing. It had such beautiful forests, but many of them had been clear cut to make way for ugly, smog spewing fuel refineries. It was ironic the fuel was the primary reason she was here. The Jedi and their allies had been making progress in building up the galaxy's defenses against the Sith, but there was still much work to be done. To that end she and Nykoria had come to Malastare to negotiate with sympathetic noble families, for the purpose of establishing a supply line of fuel for the soon to be established Sentinel Fleet.

At the moment she stood on a balcony with a view of the aforementioned barren plains, while all manner of wealthy dignitaries spoke and dined inside the lavish estate. She couldn't shake the bad feeling she was getting that something was about to go horribly wrong. After the attack on Senator Fah, she knew it wasn't beneath the Sith to take direct action in silencing those that obstructed their goals. Well, if they were foolish enough to try anything, they'd get more than they bargained for this time.

She scanned once more over the area below. Security guards walked the estate grounds, everything seemed in order. "We're all clear on this end." The Vratix spoke into her comlink. "How are things looking on your side?" She could feel it, the storm brewing. Not in the air but through the Force. There was something nefarious coming their way.

Negotiations. The word was quickly becoming a new trend ever since Nykoria had stopped chasing the bad guys directly in favor of building an anti-Sith alliance. Unbeknownst to most, it irked the Zeltron that even some of her fellow Jedi had such a narrow focus. The Sith were but one of the symptoms of the galaxy's problems. Sure, they were the driving force behind many other calamities, and the biggest threat to the free galaxy. But once they were dealt with, would the universe be rid of wars, crimes, et cetera? Somehow Kori doubted that. Still, the Sith were a good force to rally against, and the Jedi were there to help seal the deal.

The Zeltron was dressed up forthe occasion: a dark-blue robe with grey-ish pants and accents to complement the purple of her skin and indigo hair combed into a ponytail. She had even gone so far as to use make-up to hide the facial burns she had sustained on Coruscant. It would've been so much easier if she could wear her armor with an enclosed helmet. But alas, the occasion wasn't right, and the guards on the premises could get jumpy about someone hiding their face. On the bright side, her other gear was allowed; furthermore, the estate had its own hangar, so Kori didn't have to travel far from her ship.

The soft quiet beeping of the comlink made Nykoria stand up from the table and head towards the hall doors, leaving the dignitaries to discuss the potential implications of an alliance with the Jedi. "Boring," Nykoria replied jokingly, after making sure that none of the attendees could hear her. "They're ironing out the details, and I'm pretending to understand more than I do." The Zeltron paused; now that she was away from the crowd and distractions, her senses became clearer. She didn't like what she felt; and there went her hopes it was because of negotiations alone. "Combining negotiations with a social event sure makes both unnecessarily long. I'll mingle and keep an eye out."

Wolfgang had quickly decided he had a love-hate relationship with Malastare. As he looked out over the dull landscape of the world from the wide windows of the Deliverance, his thoughts turned to the natives. Dugs, a species adapted the above-average gravity of their filthy little planet and making of it what they could. They, like his own kind, had evolved and adapted to handle their surroundings, and certainly they had their merits. Better than humans, at least. Quicker reflexes and stronger bodies, and Malastare also had an abundance of toxic, if readily available fuel, which the Dugs had taken to making an economy out of.

On the other hand, the planet was practically stripped bare, burned away for the sake of industrialization. An unwise investment, and Wolfgang was a man who had little respect for creatures who made such choices. Nonetheless, here he was on this scorched, smoggy ball of rock at the request of another. Luckily it was someone who tended to make wise investments, or else she'd have been told in very polite terms to go pound sand. Besides, he was getting paid somehow or other. It all worked out in the end.

For the occasion he wore his fine working attire, even the mildly ominous helmet easily overlooked on this particular planet. The smog bothered most visitors, and Wolfgang didn't particularly want to breath the foul air anyway. Both of his more practical lightsabers sat attached to mag-clips beneath his coat and a pair of eight-inch vibroknives lay similarly beneath and to the side. The only obvious thing was the usual utility belt and it's various odds and ends. No blaster today, in case it drew extra attention. If they needed noise they could always call on a war droid or twelve, anyway.

A comm signal was sent out to the ship of the other Sith to be joining him as his own landed in a nearby free area, alerting her of Wolfgang's arrival and that he was ready to get to work.

"Good day, miss," he sent over the secured line in polite, lightly accented basic. "From what I hear there's a little party going on today. How many additional guests do you think we should bring?"

Bri smiled at the voice, a hand running against her braid as she began burying her presence, brown eyes warm. "Hello there," she replied in a soft, nearly accentless Basic. It was showtime.

"Two guests, I think; plus ones count for dignitaries, no?" she almost purred, smiling. "After all, parties aren't fun if going alone."

She began to descend from her ship, locking it remotely. This was going to be interesting.

"A few boring negotiations here makes things safer out there." Izel replied to Kori, trying to bring up her spirits a bit. She understood how the Zeltron felt. It could be difficult to see the point in endeavors like this when there was actual action to be taken elsewhere in the galaxy. But the best solutions to problems were often the indirect ones. Still, with the feeling she was getting direct action here might end up being necessary as well.

"I'm taking a walk down to the checkpoint. A little extra screening may do us some good." She informed her fellow Jedi. "Please keep me up to date on all the latest gossip." She added with an amused chitter. She could only imagine how exciting it must be to talk to a bunch of stuff-shirt dignitaries.

In the meantime the Vratix would casually crawl over balcony railing, drawing a gasp of concern from one of the senators nearby. Instead of falling three stories to the estate grounds below she safely walked down the wall to the floor, privately amused by the reactions she drew from some of the others. Once on the grounds she made her way to the estate's entryway, where all the incoming dignitaries were having their ID's checked before being allowed entry. One positive about all the recent attacks was that people were finally starting to take security more seriously.

Izel figured the Sith might try to hide in plain sight, that was something of a talent of theirs after all. So she would take up a position in the shadow of the security building by the entrance, largely out of the view of those walking the main path to the dining hall. As each person passed through the first security team on their way inside she would run her own security check, reaching out to feel each person with the Force. This was her greatest talent after all, and if anyone would be able to sense an incoming dark sider it would be her.

Kori didn't quite need reassurances for the moment. If she didn't think those negotiations were important, she wouldn't have been there. But the last few years had demonstrated that some problems were too big to be solved with a lightsaber, a dozen lightsabers, or even by the Jedi alone. The more worlds jumped in on the anti-Sith initiative, the lower were the chances of seeing another Ryloth.

"Oh no," Nykoria replied playfully. "If you want to hear the gossip, you'll have to be there. I might not remember half of it by the time I hear it." Then the Zeltron's senses caught something; a subtle shift in the mood of a few people nearby; surprise, anxiety... She turned in the direction of the disturbance, only to see that Izel had disappeared from the balcony. Ah, of course.

Kori had seen her Vratix friend scale walls before, but the senator and a few other people apparently weren't so accustomed to such things. With the balcony now free of any Jedi, it was a good time to slip away from the boring meeting. That way, she could jump back into the room at a moment's notice, while also overviewing the path to the estate.

Oh my, a Sith with manners. How delightfully unexpected. Wolfgang snapped his fingers, his Viper droids planting themselves firmly on either side of the landing ramp of the Deliverance to act as sentries. He'd arranged several things in advance for this little endeavor of Demolly's, small details of import. For starters, several cultists were available as additional guests. One each, as the good lady said, who would meet them outside their ships. The second, through the Cult and his own connections, a pair of invitations. Nobles of all sorts, and especially on a burning dung heap like Malastare, petty nobles certainly loved their connections and the opportunity for personal profit.

Wolfgang arranged his things once again and moved off from his ship to meet Bri Valetia, offering a small bow to the smaller human and passing off her invitation. "Shall we go, then?" he asked, stepping off toward the gates of the estate with his well-dressed cultist "guest" by his side. The front seemed to have a Jedi nearby, a vaguely familiar insect near the security building. It wasn't the least bit hidden in the Force- though of course, neither was Wolfgang- and to his eyes they may as well have been standing in daylight. But this did not concern him. The Sith showed the door guard his invitation and declared his weaponry, which he was allowed to keep as per the invitation's instructions, though he of course left his helmet and hooded mantle behind with the security personnel. No full coverage allowed on the grounds was perfectly reasonable.

Brielle at least had to admit her date was a cute one. Though this would regrettably end in bloodshed one way or another, at least he had taste to dress well and be polite. A hungry, wolfish grin touched her lips staring up at Wolfgang, and sensing the flickers of fear in the Force, also saw the pesky little bug scampering along the walls.

Little pest.

Still, she took the arm of the cultist closest to her, giving the woman a sweet, tender smile, though there was nothing behind that smile. No warmth, no genuine feeling. The woman smiled back, but it too was a mask. Keeping her Presence buried for now, she continued to move through the crowd after showing her invitation and weaponry, Feeling the Light here and suppressing the urge to run and choke them.

There was time to play with her food later, for now there was seeking out the object of their mission, the prey they were sent to subjugate.

She could hardly wait to hear the screams.

Izel was surprised by the audacity of the Sith as he entered the compound. He wasn't even attempting to mask his presence it seemed, and the Vratix easily recognized his dark aura. The near-human, now unmasked, had been the same she had briefly faced over Ryloth. She could sense his familiar presence in the Force. She even made eye contact with him and his unassuming escort as they passed. It seemed he was underestimating her. Fine, that could only work to her advantage.

The Vratix watched motionless and silent as the Sith passed, waiting for him to be out of earshot before raising her comlink to her mouth once more. "A Sith just walked through the front door" She warned Kori. "The pompous one we fought on Ryloth, and an escort, possibly another Sith or just a bystander, it's hard to tell. I can sense a great darkness growing but it's still foggy. There could be more of them." She made sure to give a full description of their appearances just in case Kori had trouble identifying them in the crowd, then turned and approached the security guards.

"Excuse me," She addressed them, putting on the act of a nervous party-goer. "There's a few people in there that have had too much to drink, they're getting rowdy and starting to make a scene. They're making everyone uncomfortable." Two of the guards looked at each other before one stepped forward.

"Can you show us where they are miss?" He asked, Izel nodded.

"Yes, you might want to bring a few men with you, there's several of them." She suggested. The guard nodded and signaled for three more to follow as the Vratix started to lead them back towards the building. If that Sith filth thought he was in for an easy ride he was sorely mistaken. Izel had no intention of allowing him to harm anyone else. Still they followed the dark sider from a distance. She didn't want to engage him until Kori was close enough to assist.

Whatever a nobility soiree could offer, the place had it all. Struggles behind the scenes? Check. Contempt concealed by fake smiles? In copious amounts. Daggers behind backs? Yes, probably. And that was even before Izel warned Kori of the Sith arrival. She thought she sensed something familiar, but the Vratix was down there and had a better idea.

Only when Izel brought up Ryloth did Nykoria know what to look out for. Searching pride and arrogance here would've been like searching a needle in a stack of needles. Wolfgang's presence in the Force wasn't concealed amidst the crowd, and Kori could sense it. From her vantage point, she tried to make out where the Sith was amidst the crowd of incoming dignitaries. She too would be rather visible: among the few people on the balcony, presence not hidden in the Force.

"Got it," the Master replied, trying to think it through. The Sith were there, and entered as if they were invited. It could only mean one thing. "Make sure not to start anything by yourself, Izel," she replied on the comlink after a moment of consideration. "Can't just come up to them and brandish weapons. Not here." Kori hoped that the Vratix knew that, but still had some doubts. "I'll warn the guards of this development, but the Sith have to make the first move." With that, she stepped back from the railing and proceeded towards the hall again.

Nykoria and Izel wouldn't have come to Malastare if there weren't people supportive of the Jedi. One of them, a Dug noble by the name of Lorago, was hosting the event. Alas, as he had told Nykoria in confidence, not everyone shared his views, even in the noble family he was heading. Malastare was like a pendulum, and a lot of sides tried to tip the scales, through legal and illegal means. That made Lorago a target, even for his own family. Something the Jedi knew and wanted to avert.

"Lorago, it looks like your dear friends are paying you a visit tonight after all," Nykoria approached the Dug sitting at the table, surrounded by a few other aliens. "Could be more than a couple. Hopefully, you have trusted servants to attend to their needs." A subtle mental nudge to Lorago and to the people around—admittedly, in different directions—would ensure that bystanders would take the conversation for what it sounded like. Lorago, however, would understand it perfectly: "The Sith are making their move tonight. Their agents could've weaved their way into your entourage. I hope you have people you can trust."

Wolfgang gave the door guard a polite little nod and slipped his invitation back into an inside coat pocket. He guided his plus one and Bri Valentia behind him into the main halls of the manor, eyes idly looking around the open space. It was certainly nicer inside than the polluted, smog-filled outside. He was briefly distracted by someone calling on the Force somewhere within the manor itself but kept to his business, greeting a noble dignitary and exchanging pleasantries with them.

He introduced himself as the assigned spokesperson and negotiator from Sullust, which was why he'd been invited to this meeting. Wolfgang was meant to be here, his arrival arranged by elements of Lorago's family and more pro-Sith noble families and government officials who wanted another point of view spoken in the proceedings. Thus shortly after his initial greetings the Sith would turn to head up the stairs to join the meeting proper. He had work to do, after all, and he intended to do it well.
