B I O G R A P H Y

Coming from an influential family on Kel Dor, Foa Lan was raised on the legends of old. His family can even trace some Jedi names to that of their own bloodline, and because of his species’ natural affinity with the force, he was taught in the ways of the Force from a young age. He willingly joined the Jedi Order, with the blessings of his parents, as he felt he would be honoring the duty undertaken by previous generations.

The tragedy of Ajan Korr was an eye opening experience for the Jedi Knight. He dedicated himself to more practical pursuits in the force, focusing on combat and battle. Believing the Jedi should take a more active role, like that of their forefathers, Foa Lan seeks to prepare himself (and others) for the fights yet to come.

P E R S O N A L I T Y

The term ‘battle axe’ suits Foa Lan well. Instead of meditation chambers, and youngling lectures, Foa Lan can be found instructing padawans on lightsaber combat. If not here, then he will be active in monitoring developments across the galaxy. Stern and pragmatic, he is not an easy man to work under. This is not done out of spite, or arrogance, but rather out of necessity. Foa Lan wishes for all Jedi to harden themselves, especially with the growing conflicts surrounding them. Though his disposition may come across as harsh, he only has good intentions for his fellow Jedi.

Whilst not eager to start a fight, he is more than willing to settle one. His personal honour also dictates he can not turn away from evil; he believes his role in the galaxy is to fight for those who can not fight for themselves. There is nothing he hates more than cowardice.

A B I L I T I E S

With links to the Baran Do Sages, Foa Lan is accomplished in the force, especially when coupled with his lightsaber prowess. He is a traditionalist when it comes to dueling, opting for an aggressive offense, with supportive defence.

Aside from this, Foa Lan is also a skilled pilot.
