WOW it's a big post. I know. I have four characters so instead of post multiple times with one OOC account I'm just going to post for now in one. I'll probably switch if its easier the other way later. I set up a couple different 'settings' so if you want to join those or make your own be my guest. They will probably come together and meet up as the thread progresses.
"Get down from there you little brat!" Koil's voice groaned from the bottom of the steps. It did not carry far, due to the gentle rain that was falling. The steps led up to a porch but the porch had a roof. Over the edge of said roof dangled two short pale legs. "Make me you ya oreo lookin freak!" Said a high pitched female voice. It belonged to Koil's sister.
The teenager straightened his posture and gave the girl a look that said Really? You wanna try me right now? She promptly remembered she had never out roasted her older brother in a one on one match of dissing. It would just end in shame. "You're no fun." She stuck out her tongue with a rather sour expression because she couldn't think of anything better.
"Yeah tell it to me while we're walking" He said as he pivoted in his acceptance of his sister's surrender. One pale arm covered in a thick sweater pointed down the driveway towards the bus stop. "I don't want to run to school to make it on time again, Vidian" Some concern entered his voice knowing that if they were late or absent it would get to their father. He preferred to not provoke that man.
The bus ride, well, it was bus ride full of mostly people that were no seniors. Most seniors had cars or had a friend that drove them. But they were close enough to the school that they could make it if they ran if they missed the bus. But that meant that it was mostly full and pretty noisy which was not pleasant for the white haired teenager.
As always he found himself staring out the window jamming to one of his favorite songs until the bus arrived. He hopped off of the bus and waited until he saw his sister get off and head inside. Of course that was not too difficult to do because he needed to head back across the street to smoke a cigarette. The bell rang. He inhaled, not moving from his spot. His eyes moved slowly to see any of the usual late arrivals. It was amusing to see in what state of disarray they tended to arrive in. But today was raining and he did not have a camera.
Flicking the butt of the cigarette into the dirt, right next to a dozen other ones he had flicked there over the past couple of weeks. Nobody would see it unless they were looking for it. It was the perfect hiding spot until they got taken by the natural wildlife. No evidence. hmm, I wonder why I think that way.
His black jean clad butt slunk into the seat of the chair in the last row closest to the window. His backpack's one strap hanging off of his arm. The kid was emotionally uninvested entirely with everything happening right now. We walk into this class room, all order like, like we're some group of robots on a conveyor belt to what some man decides is successfulness or whatever. The pale teenager squirmed in his seat hoping that maybe his mood would change. Along his sleeve he had hidden an earbud so it would look like his head was resting on his hand but he could keep listening to his music.
Meanwhile he would vaguely pay attention to anything else going on and just sort of zone out. I think I'll have that red flavored drink thing with lunch today...yeah...that sounds good. Hey I wonder if Burk has any vodka on hand to snag a couple swigs. Hell I could mix that straight into the bottle I already have and drink it over the rest- And so his mind would run with all sorts of tangents while the class continued. But in the back of the room nobody paid attention much anyway. It would not really be a big surprise for kids to pass notes, or talk in the back of a relaxed first period like this. Even the teachers knew there was not much point in trying to discipline kids if they were not already respectful of their positions.
Getting up and out of bed. What was he supposed to do this early in the day. His old man had him working later this day so he would not be able to enjoy any of the evening opportunities. Who was he kidding. The only opportunities were the ones the people of this had with him. He was a delight to be around.
A few minutes would pass as Burk marveled at his own toned physique. "lookin good you hound dog" A couple of barks at the glass as he sized himself up like a stereotypical dude-bro. Then relaxing he headed to go make some coffee, take a shower and probably just watch something on tv while he smoked a bowl. "Holy crap, I guess I must have beaten my high score when I saw still lit. I'm such a goof" Then he stopped dead as he realized maybe other things had happened that he did not remember. Squinting his eyes he looked through the rooms of his house to see if any people were still around from last night. The soft rain hitting the roof of the house, slightly muffling the steps of Burk's bare feet on his floor as he walked through his home.
I can skip one day right. That was enough at this time to just push off from the wall and head away from the main entrance. She headed around the building until she was out of sight from anybody else and headed towards the usual stoner hangout. Yeah, treat yourself. She thought as she headed towards where she knew vices were freely shared this time in the morning for kids without a first period.
Turning around he snuffed out the candle. He had left it burning because of what he had been doing earlier that night. Apparently he had passed out and now was being rudely awakened by his own body clock. "If you're going to do this to me at least be on time when you do it." He scolded himself while he hopped down the hallway trying to get his other pieces of clothes on.
He did not get to the end of his parent's ornate loose rock driveway until he was fully dressed. Exiting the electric gates he plucked his skateboard from the bush where he had thrown it last night. It had been a rager. Brent kept riding and would do so, unless of course he saw somebody along the way. He knew he was going to be late but skipping class was nothing new to him.
