Ciri knew what people said about Jedi, what got posted on the holonet, so his words weren't a surprise. She was sure some in the Order would have wanted to correct him, to set things straight. Specially as they would see him as an opportunity to influence his father. But she didn't care, it was what it was. Besides, she was beginning to think that there was much more to this than either of them were aware off.

She didn't stop him when he got up and walked off, there were many beings in the Galaxy who had the touch of the Force but never learned to masters its ways. They probably lived better lives because of it, so even if he had the gift, maybe it was best this way. She hadn't missed how quick his response had been, he had sensed something, and it had likely scared him. She couldn't force him down that path. If what the Masters said was true, and the Force had a will of its own, then sooner or later it would lead him down the path he needed to follow. When he was ready, if he was ready, things would fall in place. And if not, he'd be happier because of it. She almost wished she still had that choice, a pang of envy stabbing at her heart.

Finishing her drink, she got up from her seat and stepped out onto the street, seeing his tall form through the crowd. Knowing this was probably her last chance to stop him. But she did nothing, letting him disappear into the distance as she turned and headed back towards the museum. She had to figure out what to do with this blade.
