Seventeen years have passed since the birth of Castina Cradle's child, Emery. The girl has grown beautiful, but powerful as well. Mariah Cove saw to her proper upbringing, as well as her basic Jedi training. Emery's capability with the Force was astonishing, far surpassing that of the other students, and even some of the Jedi Knights of the academy. In her life, things are peaceful, though they about to take a drastic change for the worst. The secret of her past, her history...Is soon to be revealed.
Meanwhile, fear is spreading throughout the rest of the galaxy. A creature with many names is running wild through several star systems, making seemingly random attacks and destroying entire planets. The reports came in more and more frequently as time passed. Reports of a cloaked figure wielding a crimson blade came in, saying that he toppled entire cities alone. To make these worse, the cloaked figure gained reinforcements, assimilating victims to his army. The faction gained a name for itself, they were called The Echelon and became a powerful faction in a short time. The Republic began to engage in battles with The Echelon. Soon, the New Jedi Order had to become involved, upon learning that their leader was believed to be a Dark Lord of the Sith, by the name of Darth Nemesis.
Little is known of Darth Nemesis, including the extent of his power. Few have lived to tell of their sightings, but there are some who have witnessed The Cloaked Man and escaped with their lives. He was a Sith like they had never seen before. His powers far surpassed that of any other Jedi, or Sith to date. It was said that he had gone into regions of the Force untapped by others, further than the Dark Side, far deeper than it. A new region of the Force was awakend and used by Darth Nemesis. Rumor spread that he was immortal, and that The Republic was only delaying their defeat. So powerful was he, that his very voice could destroy the average man. It was said that his voice could never be heard, for it would end the listener's life. His words were carried through his apprentice, known as The Voice.
It has been concluded that The Echelon is raising another unit within their army. A unit that was trained in the ways of the Force, capable of combatting the Jedi. The number of this unit is few, but not their strength. It seems to be a losing battle for The Republic. What can be done about this new threat, The Echelon?</div>

((PM me for information on any of these characters. These are not the only characters that can be played, of course. I will allow a person to play more than one character. If you wish to make your own to enter the story, you could be a Jedi combating The Echelon, a soldier for The Republic, or a Dark Jedi for the Echelon, or a soldier for the Echelon, or anything inbetween that you can imagine. Also, I don't have a problem if you would like to bring in a character you've already made into this story. If it's ok with everyone else, it's ok with me. Again, PM me with questions, this is my first RP on this board, so I'll pm you with questions too, lol.))
