Possible, but again we don't see him at all until after the explosion. I also love how ever Imp takes like ten seconds to look at a picture of a YELLOW Rodian before deciding both green Rodians are not their man.

Honestly, I agree on that regard, but I expect that we will have to wait until part two to explain more.

I think it makes sense that the Inquisitor was there. Lothal is a known hotbed of rebel activity, their leader is a Jedi, and Empire Day is presumably the biggest day for the Empire every year. Anything that goes wrong would be very embarrassing to the Empire, and something COMPNOR especially would want to prevent. So the Inquisitor presumably figured that Empire Day was a likely target for the rebels.

However:

He was just enjoying a crisp lemonade (he pronounces it lemonod) and watching the festivities from his favorite eatery when THOSE GOD DAMN TERRORIST ASSHOLES RUINED IT!

I greatly prefer this version.

Another thing I like about this show is that it depicts both sides as fallible. They both miss shots, but they do get things right from time to time. This thought came during the chase scene on the...highway..? The door was blown off, and the Imperial did a move which is cliche, but something you rarely see from 'bad guys' The whole jump down and kick the person. Kanan is overpowered in this scene, and ends up having to rely on the Force to save him.

Alongside this, Zeb and other characters miss shots, just as the Stormtroopers do. If I didn't know the show was centered around the group, I'd worry that they'd be defeated at any time. In comparison to the Droids in TCW, the Stormtroopers are much more formidable opponents, and Kanan's almost apparent reluctance helps to almost balance out the fight. The thing that feels very original trilogy-y to me is there is no excessive use of the Force. a jump or push here, but Kanan and Ezra aren't using it at every opportunity which it felt like with Anakin and Ahsoka in TCW.

You mean un-prequely?

I really liked this episode. It actually had me wanting more immediately when it ended. One thing I did find strange, however, is if the Empire put that data thing on the Rodian's head, why are the pictures of him lacking it? I'm guessing the whole thing with him will be explained more in the next episode, but it just struck me as odd when I saw him that the pictures the Empire's troopers had didn't contain the big, extremely obvious piece of headgear he had. All I can guess is they were afraid he might have gotten it off.

That and its probably a profile picture taken before they assigned him to anything? Which works generally more because, as you say, he might have gotten it off, and it otherwise ensures that anyone searching is looking for the person and not a piece of equipment.

Speaking of which, I just realised its an oversized version of what that one guy from Empire wore. More tech progression!

But again, then why are none of the troopers in attendance briefed on what said rebels look like? Or he put into a place where he can observe or search. They at least show Kallus combing the crowd for the Rodian, but we get nothing of what the Inquisitor is doing. Drinking a lemonade indeed.

Not saying it was executed perfectly. Just that it makes sense why he'd be there.
