(ooc:darn i spelt embracing wrong, could an admin edit that, thanks)
In a wide, ciruclar room filled with the smells of incense, sat a Jedi Padawan. His head bowed and his knees crossed he meditated on the times to come. The one tall window in the room breathed light upon his back, the sun beating upon him.

The only sound being the bird's that sought to reach higher then the great towers of the Jedi temple. Just as the padawan sought to do, but through the force.

Kaebis awaited the arrival of a paticulair individual, one who would train him in the ways of the force. He had gone so long without one, serving the council that they saw fit to match him with one of high calibur, but one who could still learn a thing or two from the padawan.

A new master.

*As the padawan waited patiently in the training room, Malcolm Xantuse, a Jedi Knight had hand picked the child as his pupil. He always had a philosophy that his students would only be the ones who he deemed completely ready and open minded. Quite the contradiction since Malcolm himself was not open minded at all, though what he liked was somebody who could be pounded with his own philosophies, despite what the Jedi might think.

Malcolm walked briskly through the halls of the academy before finally reaching the training room. He thrust the large wooden doors open with a thunderous force push which sent the doors flying open, crashing against the wall beside them. Quickly making his way to his new student, he stood directly in front of him and looked down upon him.*

"Rise."

Kaebis winced as the door's swung open, such pointless use of the force of opening door's was an oddity to him, but who was he to question the actins of a knight? His new master voiced for him to rise, and he did so without hesitation.

He did not speak, awaiting any word's from the pursed lips of his new master before voicing an opinion.

He just kept his head down.

Malcolm looked the boy up and down as he rose. He didn't look like anything spectacular, but the force was definately strong within him. Perhaps that was all he needed to get by. They would see.

"Tell me about yourself."

Kaebis was slightly taken aback by the question, but he did not allow that to be evident in his posture or facail features. He quickly went over what to say in his mind being careful to use perfect detail and not stray from the point.

''Well Master, I was born on Iridonia, my peoples homeworld. My mother was a Jedi Master who left the order, for...well love, master. My father was a painter, one of the most profitable in his work. I was just two and a hald year's old when an Umbaran woman killed both of them in cold blood.

So I ran away from home, taken what little I had with me along with my mother's necklace...which wasn't much just a cord..no adornment's and my father's painting laser.

While I ran through the harsh desert towards the capital city, I fell into a cavern. In the middle rose a tower of blue crystal's almost too much to take in all at once.

Some of the crytal's..called to me I picked them all up and fashioned a chain out of mother's necklace and the crystal's..I had hoped to sell them..''.

..Kaebis paused then motioned towards the necklce of small beautiful blue crytal's he wore.

''As you can plainly see this did not happen. I climbed the tower of crystal's back into the harsh plains. I made may way to the spaceport where I spied a band of entertainer's.

One of them was a Toydarian painter.

I almost burst into tear's, but I began to step toward them hoping they would take me in, I tripped and my father's painting utensil left my hand.

But I caught it...with the force.''. He said the last with a smile.

''Master Arken of the Ossus council saw me, while he was on a diplomatic mission. He immediately took me to coruscant, to the monastery there....but when I saw a world so different to that I knew of..I ran away again.

I found a Twi'lek tattoist, by the name of Mya Saren. She took me in for about a year. She was the only friend I knew...

...One day I stood upon the roof of the giant dreadnaught building where here tattoo parlour was. Using one of her tattooing laser's. I did my own body tatoo's...using the force.

For a time I asked around, looking for the assassin who slaughtered my parent's..but this got me noticed by the council. And so Master Arken found me and took me back in.

There I lived for fifteen year's, doing work for the Jedi on many planet's all alone...without a master.

...it's not much...but it's my life.'' Said Kaebis.

"Well now you have a master, so don't spoil the opportunity."

Malcolm said this sarcasticly, as a joke, trying to lighten the mood after Kaebis' rather grim life story. Such pain and fear were not good traits for a Jedi to have, though they could be altered if need be. There was serenity in the boy's heart, but a shadow over top of that which could possibly seek to embrace the rest.

"However, you didn't answer the question my boy. I know what happened in your life already, I read your file, but I want you to tell me who you are."

''I am Kaebis Alveran and I am a Jedi of the order. I am a user of the force I am merely a filter of it's wisdom and power'' said Kaebis, hoping he was not incorrect.

He pressed his weight on his right foot, his lightsaber hung on his left side.

"Fair enough."

Not quite the answer that he was looking for, but it sufficed for now. He planned on delving deep into the boy's emotions, learn more about him than he would probably like to give away.

"Now, you seem to be accustomed to tragedy. You lost your parents and appear to be seeking retribution. How do you feel right now?"
