DESCRIPTION
The EE-3 carbine rifle was a model of blaster carbine manufactured by BlasTech Industries. They were used by a variety of notable bounty hunters and mercenaries, in particular the notorious Boba Fett, during the Clone Wars and the Galactic Civil War. A rugged and durable design, it the nonetheless noted for its excellent balance, reasonable recoil, and surprising accuracy for a carbine. The barrel's design allowed for a firm and steady grip when aiming, while the solid stock and top-mounted macroscope allowed for precision aim out to the carbine's maximum range.

A relatively common modification was the removal of the stock and macroscope, resulting in a pistol-like configuration. While it was lighter and easier to conceal and move around as such, even capable of one-handed use, longer range accuracy surely suffered and the weight made it awkward without the balanced stock.

Over the years BlasTech has repeatedly re-released the EE-3 with small improvements due to its popularity, with the latest offering featuring a wooden stock and well-polished frame in lieu of the traditional matte black. As a result, the EE-3 can be found in a wide variety of configurations in as many places in the galaxy. It's rare that two examples look exactly alike. While a little pricey depending on the exact model and general nostalgia, it is a decently common sight in use by those who can afford to pay a little extra for a reliable main arm.

LEGALITY
Legal. Ownership of blaster carbines is not restricted in most of the Galaxy, however openly carrying such a weapon in public might be on more "civilized" worlds. On less civilized worlds, it still might draw unwanted scrutiny.

INTENT
To introduce a classic and distinctive blaster carbine to the forum that shows up repeatedly in Canon and Legends, as an alternative to more imperial-looking options.
