The Carran tribe craves war and conflict to such an extent other Iridonian tribes seem peaceful. They refuse to let their Force-sensitive children leave for either Jedi or Sith training before they've become a full-fletched adult and have spilled the blood of at least a dozen members of rival tribes. In order to create the killing machines that they need to rise above other tribes, the Force-sensitive children are put through extreme non-stop training focused on enhanced speed and brutal hand-to-hand combat.
After joining the Sith, Carran tribe often retain a preference for their brutal hand-to-hand style of fighting.
