Zeb knew that this was going to end up up with him losing. He was after all facing the Arcanist of the Order. Neverthless, he was always looking to learn. He knew that people of his position had trained other acolytes before in combat. For instance, the former Dark Lord of the Sith, Arcuturs, had a duel with some acolytes. This was for him to learn from Sin'ryk, as he knew the path he wanted to take was a path where numerous confrontations would be fought with the blade.

"A pleasure to train under you again my Lord." he stated. The two men stood outside of the Sith Academy, at a close location, but reasonably far enough for only them to have this friendly duel. The Sith hopeful, his eyes glowing could feel the strong winds of Korriban. This was certainly a planet that was worthy to have been the capital of the first Sith Empire, and an important world. Zeb spent most of his time on Ziost for training in terms of his dueling abilities. He however spent his time on Korriban to learn as much as he could learning about the military, but he still also practiced sometimes.

As he stood there, activating his lightsaber and its dual phase function seconds having pasted since he had spoken. The wind gathered behind him, sand flying toward Sin'ryk due to Korriban comprising mostly of sand. Always making sure to try and use his environment to his advantage, the Lasat leaped, the wind also allowing him not to waste his energy, and travel at fast rate. When he reached striking distance from Darth Malecifar, Zeb sent an attack from the left leg to the shoulder, in a diaognal slash. If the Dark Lord used the force to pull him, the Lasat would hold his lightsaber in a vertical position, the blade being in front of his torso and covering its body. It would also be in a position that would render sending a telekinetic blast to the lightsaber somewhat innefective. Moreoever, if the Sith Lord used the force to pull him into his position, the Lasat would put his lightsaber in a vertical position, covering its torso and other parts of his body in a defensive manner. He would again be in a position that would render sending a telekinetic blast to the lightsaber somewhat ineffective. The Lasat was ready, at least hopefully.
