Even on the run one couldn't escape the whims of the market, and here on Hemelder Aurek thats all there was. At a planet spanning spaceport ships and goods came and went with the every passing second, credits changing hands and not a thing given away for free. That's where Aila was becoming a little unstuck. Trying to flee Imperial Space wasn't easy when all you had was your meager savings and barely half a plan of where to get more.

So, when this opportunity had arisen she took it, without really thinking through what she'd just accepted. Flying wasn't her forte. And given the look of her new companion she hardly thought it good practice to ask exactly why they needed a pilot. But they'd get a cut, apparently, all they had to do was drive. And, kriff, she was flying in a sense already, no harm in making it a little more literal.

As they're hired freighter pulled up and around to the skies around docking tower 23C, Aila checked their scanners. They were at the place, but what they were to do now she wasn't exactly sure. She turned to her new partner, a quizzical look on her face,

"Hope you know what we're looking for" she asked "Because this skylane is a maze" that was hardly hyperbole either, dozens of ships crisscrossed all around them, spotting something up here would be like finding a ant in an asteroid field.

Raz hated flying, and she always made a point of making someone else do it. She hated it to the point where she would pay any amount to get out of it. Today was no different, and she hadn’t bothered even really vetting the woman. For all she knew, the woman could be a suspicious Imperial or some bullshit. Raz made no comments, sitting next to her and occasionally shooting glances her way.

The silence was broken by the woman finally speaking up, and Raz turned to look with a grin beneath her helmet, “Shit I hope so too,” She had a datapad in her lap and she glanced down once more, “I’m chasing a bounty on a man named Eris Kov,” Raz looked down at the small description of him and an image, “He is wanted dead or alive, though more if alive. He’s located in the spire near the fashion district,” Raz looked up. They were flying low enough to spot the vast towers that pierced through the atmosphere.

It wouldn’t be simple to spot him, and it would require some questioning and interrogation to pick up more clues. Raz hated playing detective, preferring jobs that were clean cut and involving simply showing up to shoot someone. She thought for a moment before looking back at the woman, “Say, do you know much about this planet?” She put out some feelers. If the woman had knowledge about the planet, she could perhaps be useful in the pursuit itself.

Up ahead, she could see they were coming up on the target district. There were bright pink neon signs and flashy billboards that could be seen from way in outer space. Raz shook her head at the sight, marveling at the display. The amount of credits that went into advertising was disgusting.

The lightness of Raz's reply gave Aila a chance to breath, she hadn't met many mercs or bounty hunters but from holos they had a reputation, stern, quiet types who hit hard and went home rich for it. This one at least seemed to have a little more life about her, and Aila was more than happy to find that out early,

"Alrighty, north then. We should hit the tower in just a sec" she said glancing down at her personav. plugging in the coordinates as quick as she could. She was on a bounty hunt now. That was... new. But she'd make it work, she had to, or else she wasn't eating for kriff getting off the planet at all. Funnily enough at a planet wide spaceport they were sticklers for their permits and flight passes. She currently had neither, good thing local flights were a little easy to take,

"All I've learnt so far being here is that no one stays very long, or doesn't mean to anyhow. If you're keeping an eye out for someone who might run, boarding officers keep note of damn near everyone whose got a flight ready, no matter where they are" she spoke back as they approached the docking bay of the fashion district,

"Learnt that the hard way" she muttered as they pulled up "otherwise, if you can catch him in a transfer tube, well, they won't be going anywhere" she finished now that she'd nattered her head off. Kept the nerves down. Stepping out onto the boardwalk her eyes were overwhelmed by the lights and sounds of the district, every which way you looked there was something else pulling your attention. It wouldn't be easy to catch their man.
